Magento sales report number inconsistent with actual orders

When I view the Sales report (Reports-Sales), it tells me I have 22 orders and made over $1000. When I view the orders (Sales-Orders), there are only 15 orders and I made a lot less. Also, the dashboard only shows $737. Where are all these numbers coming from? I'm using Magento 1.4.0.1.

Bug in Safari: options.length = 0; not working as expected in Safari 4

This is not a real question, but rather an answer to save some others the hassle of tracking this nasty bug down. I wasted hours finding this out. When using options.length = 0; to reset all options of a select element in safari, you can get mixed results depending on wether you have the Web Inspector open or not. If the web inspector is open you use myElement.options.length = 0; and after that query the options.length(), you might get back 1 instead of 0 (expected) but only if the Web Inspector is open (which is often the case when debugging problem like this). Consider it that '_'s in a number doesn't change that number's value so 1000==1_000==10_00. The Problem: given numbers like 1_244_23 1412_2 1_1111 etc..., how could I decide whether certain number appears in that collection? For example: 1244_23 yes, 11_111 yes, 1412_1 no. How could using regex to solve this? I mean, if I could tell the regex engine just ignore these '_''s when matching then this problem becomes trivial? How could I do so?

Problem: 2 projects shared trunk and were updating some of the same files. Now one project needs to be released, so a new branch was created from a checkpoint before the projects started. I have a list of just my changelist numbers from the mainline. Using that I can generate a list changed files and diff output using a script with a series of 'p4 describe #' commands. Can I reformat that output and apply it to the new branch somehow?

Usually, I would put the data in a separate file and let the program read it while it is running, but that's not an option here. Instead, the program and the data need to be in one executable file. Hi, I have a django script which loads data, the beginning of the script deletes all datas in database. So when I execute 1st time this script, the auto increment primary keys begin to 1 to 15 (if 15 objects) and if I want to reload data, I reexecute the script. My issue is when I execute it again, pks numbers begin to 16 (for 2nd launch), I would like each time auto_increment begins to 1, is it possible whitout regenerating tables structure each time ?
