  • Apache configuration to make NTLM authentication work through a Proxy

    I'm running an application server behind an Apache proxy with the following sort of thing in my Apache config: ProxyPass /app http://myapplication:8080/myapp ProxyPassReverse /app http://myapplication:8080/myapp When I switch on NTLM authentication (using mod_ntlm) the authentication fails (it works fine when bypassing the proxy). A quick search reveals lots of issues when running NTLM behind a proxy due to the connection-specific NTLM specification. Does anyone have a working Apache configuration that allows NTLM authentication through a proxy? Thanks for any help.

But then TypeError: Sys.Data.OpenDataContext is not a constructor What shall I do to be able to call the service the way they do it on the first link? What are the scripts and resources needed?   • Drupal localhost redirecting to www.localhost.com

    Hey! I am working on a drupal site which I checked out (svn) to my localhost. Now the problem is that when I go to: http://www.site.com it all works fine, but when I go to: http://localhost/work/site I get redirected to http://www.localhost.com/work/site I have ran the install.php script and all works great. It reinstalls everything but when I go to the main site the redirect occurs. I removed the .htaccess file, didn't do anything. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64 (also tried on winxp pro 32) apache 2.2, php 5.2.13 Anyone know anyway to fix this? Thanks

    I want to setup a test database on a vm for development purposes but I cannot connect to the server via the network. I've got Ubuntu 12.04vm installed on 12.04 host in Virtualbox 4.2.4 set to - Bridged network mode - Promiscuous Allow All When I try to ping the virtual guest from any network client I get the expected result.     We want http://webserver.com/foo to point to an instance of WAS 6.0, and http://webserver.com/foo2 to point to an instance of WAS 7.0, running on the same server, but with different port numbers. This is a temporary thing, as we need to have both servers running as we transition our applications from running on 6.0 to 7.0. The webserver is IBMIHS (an Apache variant), and it needs to use the WebSphere plugin to connect to the WAS servers. Will this work? Any drawbacks?

    Hi, I'm generating proxy using svcutil tool. My contract methods return objects of particular type. However generated proxy client interface has return value of type object. What is more I get exception with message: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail] : The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter http://tempuri.org/:name. The InnerException message was 'XML 'Element' 'http://tempuri.org/:name' does not contain expected attribute 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/:Type'. The deserializer has no knowledge of which type to deserialize. Check that the type being serialized has the same contract as the type being deserialized.'.     Trying to get these two vhosts set up correctly. I have two sites on this domain that i'm hosting: www.example.com/example.com and test.example.com. How do I get both of these to work in my vhost definitions? I have: $HTTP["host"] == "test.example.com" { and $HTTP["host"] =~ "(^|.)example.com$" { (I think this is for *.example.com) It always goes to the second one, even if I am trying to go to test.example.com. I need to be able to host www.example.com/example.com and test.example.com

  • tproxy squid bridge very slow when cache is full

    I have installed a bridge tproxy proxy in a fast server with 8GB ram. The traffic is around 60Mb/s. When I start for first time the proxy (with the cache empty) the proxy works very well but when the cache becomes full (few hours later) the bridge goes very slow, the traffic goes below 10Mb/s and the proxy server becomes unusable. Any hints of what may be happening?   • Tomcat cookies not working via my ProxyPass VirtualHost

    Hi there. I'm having some issues with getting cookies to work when using a ProxyPass to redirect traffic on port 80 to a web-application hosted via Tomcat. My motivation for enabling cookies is to get rid of the "jsessionid=" parameter that is appended to the URLs. I've enabled cookies in my context.xml in META-INF/ for my web application. When I access the webapplication via http://url:8080/webapp it works as expected, the jsessionid parameter is not visible in the URL, instead it's stored in a cookie. When accessing my website via an apache2 virtualhost the cookies doesn't seem to work because now "jsessionid" is being appended to the URLs. How can I solve this issue? Ivy is only used to resolve dependencies (from a single, non Maven2 project). How can Ivy be configured to correctly resolve timestamped artifacts from an Archiva or m2 repository?     Hi, I want to do log shipping for biztalk databases on SQL server 2008 standard edition (server A) to another SQL server 2008 standard edition (server B). I was told that for biztalk, logshipping is not like standard logshipping.     I feel kind of dumb posting this when this seems kind of simple and there are tons of questions on strings/characters/regex, but I couldn't find quite what I needed (except in another language: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2176544/remove-all-text-after-certain-point). I've got the following code: [Test] public void stringManipulation() { String filename = "testpage.aspx"; String currentFullUrl = "http://localhost:2000/somefolder/myrep/test.aspx?q=qvalue"; String fullUrlWithoutQueryString = currentFullUrl.Replace("?.*", ""); String urlWithoutPageName = fullUrlWithoutQueryString.Remove(fullUrlWithoutQueryString.Length - filename.Length); String expected = "http://localhost:2000/somefolder/myrep/"; String actual = urlWithoutPageName; Assert.AreEqual(expected, actual); } I tried the solution in the question above (hoping the syntax would be the same!) but nope. I want to first remove the queryString which could be any variable length, then remove the page name, which again could be any length. How can I get the remove the query string from the full URL such that this test passes?

    I've got a Fedora LAMP server on Amazon EC2 functioning as a HTTP pseudo-proxy (Sorry, don't know the terminology- It's not a true proxy where requests are relayed through apache, rather client requests are being translated by a PHP script, which then sends a new request.) I'd like to be able to fully log the HTTP cycle CLIENT - PROXY PROXY - SERVICE SERVICE - PROXY PROXY - CLIENT I'm hoping to do this using BASH tools- thinking netcat? Looking for advice and examples.     Hi , I am using GWT. Currently using gwt-rpc to for login authentication. For only login purpose i want to use ssl(https) and so instead of using gwt-rpc i am trying Request Builder and calling a servlet with https. When in Servlet URL i use protocol as http the request builder works perfectly and response returns to client side(onResponseReceived ). but when i use https in the servlet url then the servlet is gettting called but the response is not returning to the onResponseReceived method of request builder. my url with http looks like : http://localhost:8888/myproject/myservlet and with https it looks like :https://localhost/myproject/myservlet Please give any suggestion or is there any other way to do it.and also is it possible to use ssl over gwt-rpc.
