• How to save text to a div using JavaScript onmouseout

  Good morning all. I have a div that I'm able to save text to when I click a save button but what I would like is if the text would just automatically save on an onmouseout event. For example: I have a div and two buttons (Save and Cancel). The user is currently able to mouse over the current text data inside the div, click on the text and they can then edit said text. The only way they can save this text is by clicking the save button. Is there a way to use onmouseout to save the text so that the user simply has to click and edit the text, then click away and have it saved? Thanks!

• embed multiple youtube videos to chromeless player cue

  So in the project ive been working on i use the youtube API to add a video to a chromeless player (got custom buttons, everything works no problems). It loads the youtube id which it gets from the database (Codeigniter, PHP). But what i would like to see is: instead of loading 1 video, id like to add all the videos i get from the database in the cue of that one player. So only one screen, first video retrieved from dbase gets played first, when its done second get loaded preferably also looped. Is there any way i can achieve this? My first guess would be to save the array with youtube id's somewhere and on state change (when the 'video stop'-event gets fired) load the next id from the array. Havent tried this yet because id prefer if the cue gets just gets filled on the init, so it doesnt have to load after a video has been ended. Is This possible?

• How to run a .class file in Windows 7 OS?

  Hi, This is probably a stupid question, but how do I run a class file on windows 7? I usually create my own .java files and then use a basic IDE (with JDK6) to compile it to a class and run it automatically. My professor gave a .class file that we are supposed to play with extensively but I have no idea how to to run it here. Note that I cannot run it by typing: java classname.class because it contains gui stuff especially buttons and such. • jQuery hover() event on div element within a button element

  I can't seem to get jQuery to notice the div within the following markup <button class="button submit positive right" id="omnisubmit" type="submit"> <div class="label">Submit</div> <div class="controller">&nbsp;</div> </button> And here is the jQuery I'm currently using: $("button#omnisubmit div.controller").hover(function () { console.log("Hover..."); }); However, jQuery doesn't seem to pick up when the mouse is hovering over that div, $("button#omnisubmit div.controller").hover( works correctly, of course. I have a feeling it's because putting divs inside buttons may not be standard HTML?

  Is there a way to show subnode if the parent node is hidden in the Virtual String Tree ? I have some tasks in the tree structure and I wish to display only tasks which belongs to the current user as the list, but from all levels. What I've done is the function to display a list, which hides tree buttons, tree lines, sets the fixed indent and enable toShowHiddenNodes option. Then in this function I iterate through the whole tree (all levels) and hide nodes which doesn't belong to the current user IsVisible[Node] := False and show those which belongs him IsVisible[Node] := True, but the subnodes which should be displayed are invisible when their parent is hidden. • Drupal pass argument to page

  I have a custom Drupal module displaying some data in a table. Each row has a link which if clicked will delete the relevant row. Specifically, when the link is clicked it will take the user to a confirmation page. This page is really just a drupal form which says 'are you sure' with two buttons: 'Yes', 'No'. I figure I will need to pass the rowID to the confirmation page. My question: What is the typically way to pass data to a new page in Drupal 7? I guess I could just add the rowID to the URL and use the $_GET[] from the confirmation page... I don't think this is very safe and was wondering if there was a better 'Drupal' way. Thanks!

By touching the cell or button(play button) on the image a video is loaded and played. I need to delete the cell by touching delete button. If I touched the delete button the corresponding video is deleted from library . But, how to delete the cell and all remaining data in it ? I am not able to delete the cells or the data in the cells.   I am writing HTML to an ASP.NET page (from a web service response), and the HTML has tags. Unfortunately, because the ASP.NET page already has a wrapped around it, a lot of the buttons on the page break. Does anyone know how I can nest the form inside the ASP.NET page without breaking the top-level form? Note: the HTML I am bringing in is a form with a bunch of hidden fields inside of it, and it has to be placed within the ASP.NET page, and thus nested in the top-level form. Thanks

  Hi, I've been experimenting with this plugin http://valums.com/edit-in-place/, so far so good... But i ran into this problem. I want to update my page when update or new request to save data is sent but if i update this function(edit-in-place) it will add second set of buttons, third, fourth and so on. How could i tell it that it would update just on that returned data, but not all elements? I have an idea it has to do something with each function of jquerys, but I'm not sure as I'm quite new to jquery. Thanks for any help!

  Hi all, I'm making an android 1.6 app that uses phone's camera. In order to do this app resolution independent, I need to set a compatible aspect ratio for previewing camera on a SurfaceLayout. In 1.6 sdk there is no way to get supported sizes for the camera preview. It is possible to use a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio and get no errors whith that? On the other hand, I need a way to make a xml layout that represents this Surfacelayout in this (unknown) aspect ratio in every resolution. I assume that is not possible to change the SurfaceLayout size in runtime. Can I do it with "dp" units? The other way is making this layout programmatically? There are some apps like Vignette or android camera application with some tricks to make something like that, like black bars (vignette) or fixed buttons bar, but I don't know how to do it in any kind of resolution.   I have a program that still must target Windows XP (_WIN32_WINNT 0x501), as most of our customers still use XP. However, we have been shipping Vista for a while, and are now pushing Windows 7 upgrades. For the software to work correctly on the newer OSs, there are a couple operations that require UAC elevation. I have the elevation code working, but would like to have the UAC icon present on the buttons that launch the UAC process. Unfortunately, all of the options defined in Microsoft's UAC UI document require _WIN32_WINNT 0x600 or newer. Is there any way to get the appropriate UAC icon (Vista and 7 use different ones) to show on the button while still being able to target XP (where no icon will be shown)? I'm using C++, but may be able to adapt a .NET solution.

I'm a beginner and am making a calculator (fairly easy), but it's happening the following problem: When Cline in "1" button for example, he enters this number in the EditText, but if you click again the number is overwritten instead of the inserted his side as desired. UPDATE: sorry, I didn't clarify enought.   hi, I'm implementing this sequence of puppets in flex: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/72686/itemsSequence.png I want to show the caption when the mouse rolls over the puppet I want the user being able to click on the buttons of the caption (so the caption doesn't have to disappear when I move the mouse out from the user over the caption). I don't want the puppet component to become bigger when the caption is added (it becomes visible), because the puppets have to stay nearby each other, I cannot resize the objects. So.. I need some guidelines to do it. More precisely: 1) Should I add the components in MXML or pure actionscript ? 2) If I use MXML, should I add also the caption to the flex model, and make it invisible and then change the value with actionscript ? What's the common way to implement it ? thanks

• How to do orientation rotation like built-in Calc app?

  I'm trying to make an app that handles orientation/rotation similarly to the way the built-in Calc app does. If you check out that app, in portrait mode there's a normal calculator, and if you rotate to landscape mode there are additional buttons that appear to the left. I can't figure out how to do this by setting the autosize masks. The problem is the "normal" calculator view is 320px wide in portrait mode, but actually shrinks to around 240px in landscape mode to fit the additional controls. I've seen examples like the AlternateViews sample app that have two different view controllers (one for portrait and one for landscape), but they don't seem to animate the transitions between the views nicely like the Calc app does. I've also tried setting the frames for the views manually in willAnimateSecondHalfOfRotationFromInterfaceOrientation, but it doesn't seem to look "quite right" and also I'm not certain how that works with the autoresize mask. Any ideas how this is done? Thanks!

  I'm doing a windows form and would like an audit task to happen every 30 seconds. This audit is essentially checking a series of services on remote computers and reporting back into a richtextbox the status. Current I have this running in an endless background thread and using an invoker to update the richtextbox in the main form. Is this best practice? If I made an endless loop in my main form that would prevent any of my buttons from working, correct? I'm just curious if every time I want to create a periodic audit check I have to create a new thread which checks the status or file or what have you?

Its basically fetching rows through an ajax call and in this ajax call, I send the search params that the user selects and the page number required.
