    Hi. I have a requirement of creating java classes dynamically and make it accessible different jvms across the network. I tried to use reflection and javassist tool,but nothing worked. Let me explain the scenario we are using Coherence distributed cache. It has a power of doing aggregation/filtering in parallel across the cluster. For example if a class has [dynamic class] has amount variable and getAmount/setAmount methods. Then if we execute COHERENCE queries, it will start process in parallel across the cluster. I tried to create classes at run time by using javassist and reflection. I am able to access it from single JVM, but when I tried to access the same class from other jvm [through coherence cluster]. I am getting exception of class not found [as remote jvm is not having idea of this class].I can over come this by creating same class dynamically on remote jvm also and access the methods. But coherence in built methods/functions are not able to find the class. could some one help me on this matter

  • Dynamically writing out li with jquery. Element is not clickable after being written

    I have have a a function that when a checkbox is checked i dynamically write out an li into a ol that is empty. Code: $(":checkbox").click(function() { var checkedState = $(this).is(':checked'); if (checkedState == true) { var productName = $(this).attr("title"); $("#selectedProductsList").append("<li class=\"productList " + this + "\"><p class=\"removeIcon\"><img src=\"images/remove-icon.png\" alt=\"Remove Product\" /></p><span class=\"productName\">"+ productName +"</span></li>"); }; }); Then when that writes out there is a remove icon that will remove the item from the ol when clicked. This remove icon has a class of removeIcon which can be seen in the dynamic li above. I have a function that processes the remove call and then does some actions: Code: $('.removeIcon').click(function() { alert("starting"); }); Right now i have the remove action just trying to alert a message that it got called. But it seems that it is not getting into the function. Is there a certain way that i need to access these dynamic li's other then the .click method? I saw this post: Dynamically Inserted DOM Elements are not Clickable using $.click() Where they added .live vs .click but this doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?

  • Why would dynamically changing the stroke type of a GestureOverlayView cause unusual behaviour?

    I recently introduced multi-stroke gestures into my application. This is a preference so I set the StrokeType dynamically in Activity.OnCreate. What I have discovered is that if you change the StrokeType so that it is different to the setting in the layout file, it changes the behaviour of the GestureOverlayView in the following way. The normal behaviour is that you draw a gesture and it stays on the screen after it is drawn. When you change the stroke type dynamically however, any gesture drawn on the screen disappears immediately after the OnGestureEnded event has fired. I reloaded the sample GesturesBuilder application and confirmed it has the same problem if you add the second line shown here: GestureOverlayView overlay = (GestureOverlayView) findViewById(R.id.gestures_overlay); overlay.setGestureStrokeType(GestureOverlayView.GESTURE_STROKE_TYPE_SINGLE); overlay.addOnGestureListener(new GesturesProcessor()); } The default in the layout is MULTIPLE but changing it to single changes the behaviour. If you keep the above line but set it to what it already is, the behaviour is not affected. Is this a bug in the Android gestures library and does anyone know a workaround? Note that this is on an HTC Magic so it could also be a handset issue.

    Team, I am trying to bring a menu in top of all visible views during runtime. This menu should be easily addable and removable dynamically in certain conditions. To do this, I have tried adding a button view to the UIWindow as a subview during runtime. UIButton *button = [UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeRoundedRect]; [button addTarget:self action:nil forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchDown]; [button setTitle:@"Show View" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; button.frame = CGRectMake(80.0, 210.0, 160.0, 40.0); [window addSubview:button]; [window makeKeyAndVisible]; [window bringSubviewToFront:button]; But it doesnt worked. Also I have tried to place this button in the root view controller, but no luck again. Edit - Note: This code is not from a UIViewController. I am trying to build a library this will be in that library code. Use case be like you could post NSNotification to enable and disable this menu dynamically during runtime. Please suggest. Thanks !

  • How can I load style resources from a dynamically loaded Silverlight application (XAP)?

    I've followed Tim Heuer's video for dynamically loading other XAP's (into a 'master' Silverlight application), as well as some other links to tweak the loading of resources and am stuck on the particular issue of loading style resources from within the dynamically loaded XAP (i.e. the contents of Assets\Styles.xaml). When I run the master/hosting applcation, it successfully streams the dynamic XAP and I can read the deployment info etc. and load the assembly parts. However, when I actuall try to create an instance of a form from the Dynamic XAP, it fails with Cannot find a Resource with the Name/Key LayoutRootGridStyle which is in it's Assets\Styles.xaml file (it works if I run it directly so I know it's OK). For some reason these don't show up as application resources - not sure if I've totally got the wrong end of the stick, or am just missing something?     Say I have a web component that uses jQuery and I want to distribute it as a packaged component. I need a way to ensure that the jQuery library is available on or after the page loads, but I also want to check that the containing html page, or another unknown component that may reference jQuery hasn't already added the library to the page.     I have a several chart components that I have created in Flex. Basically I have set up a special UI that allows the user to select which of these charts they want to print. When they press the print button each of the selected charts is created dynamically then added to a container. Then I send this container off to FlexPrintJob. i.e. private function prePrint():void { var printSelection:Box = new Box(); printSelection.percentHeight = 100; printSelection.percentWidth = 100; printSelection.visible = true; if (this.chkMyChart1.selected) { var rptMyChart1:Chart1Panel = new Chart1Panel(); rptMyChart1.percentHeight = 100; rptMyChart1.percentWidth = 100; rptMyChart1.visible = true; printSelection.addChild(rptMyChart1); } print(printSelection); } private function print(container:Box):void { var job:FlexPrintJob; job = new FlexPrintJob(); if (job.start()) { job.addObject(container, FlexPrintJobScaleType.MATCH_WIDTH); job.send(); } } This code works fine if the chart is actually displayed somewhere on the page but adding it dynamically as shown above does not. The print dialog will appear but nothing happens when I press OK. So I really have two questions: Is it possible to print flex components/charts when they are not visible on the screen? If so, how do I do it / what am I doing wrong? UPDATE: Well, at least one thing wrong is my use of the percentages in the width and height. Using percentages doesn't really make sense when the Box is not contained in another object. Changing the height and width to fixed values actually allows the printing to progress and solves my initial problem. printSelection.height = 100; printSelection.width = 100; But a new problem arises in that instead of seeing my chart, I see a black box instead. I have previously resolved this issue by setting the background colour of the chart to #FFFFFF but this doesn't seem to be working this time. UPDATE 2: I have seen some examples on the adobe site that add the container to the application but don't include it in the layout. This looks like the way to go. i.e. printSelection.includeInLayout = false; addChild(printSelection);
