• Android - Custom Icons in ListView

  Is there any way to place a custom icon for each group item? Like for phone I'd like to place a phone, for housing I'd like to place a house. Here is my code, but it keeps throwing a Warning and locks up on me. • Populating an NSBrowser (Cocoa OSX)

  I want to make a widget that displays a column of selectable text data. It seems that the NSBrowser is the best cocoa object to do this but I cannot figure out how to populate the NSBrowser with any sort of data. I assume I can set the string value of an NsBrowserCell but no where in the documentation can I find where to add a new cell to a column. Am I using the wrong object?

• Can Eclipse generate method-chaining setters

  I'd like to generate method-chaining setters (setters that return the object being set), like so: public MyObject setField (Object value) { this.field = value; return this; } This makes it easier to do one-liner instantiations, which I find easier to read: myMethod (new MyObject ().setField (someValue).setOtherField (someOtherValue)); Can Eclipse's templates be modified to do this? I've changed the content to include return this; but the signature is not changed.

• Unable to get HTTPS MEX endpoint to work

  I have been trying to configure WCF to work with Azure ACS. This WCF configuration has 2 bugs: It does not publish MEX end point. It does not invoke custom behaviour extension. Or what would you say is the best way to find out why memory grows exponentially when using a com object (IE. • Java HashSet<Integer> to int array

  I've got a HashSet with a bunch of (you guessed it) integers in it. I want to turn it into an array, but calling hashset.toArray(); returns an array of Object type. This is fine, but is there a better way to cast it to an array of int, other than iterating through every element manually? A method I want to pass it to void doSomething(int[] arr) Won't accept the Object[] array, even if I try casting it like doSomething((int[]) hashSet.toArray());

  Hi, When I try to set the header properties on a WebRequest object, I get the following exception This header must be modified using the appropriate property I've tried modifying the .Headers propery and adding them that way like so webRequest.Headers.Add(HttpRequestHeader.Referer, "http://stackoverflow.com"); But still getting exceptions. I can get around this by casting the WebRequest object to a HttpWebRequest and setting the properties such as httpWebReq.Referer ="http://stackoverflow.com" But I'd like to know if there's a way to get a finer grained control over modifying headers with a request for a remote resource. I have the file GDB set as an IGxDatabase object, but can't find a way of getting further in. • How to link C# and C++ assemblies into a single executable

  I have VS2008 solution containg a project that generates a C# executable that references a project that generates a dll containing both C++/CLI and unmanaged C++. I would like to merge these into a single executable, as the C++ dll contains security code that I want to embed in the main executable. I cannot use ILMerge, as the dll contains both managed and unmanaged code. The suggested solution seems to be to use link.exe to link the C# assembly with the C++ object files. This is what I am trying to do. I manually edited the project file for the c# executable to generate a netmodule. I added a post build step to the executable project to run link.exe to link the c# netmodule and the compiled C++ object files together, then run mt.exe to merge the assembly manifests created by both projects. This runs successfully, but the exe still contains a reference to and uses the c++ types defined in the dll generated by the normal build process for the C++ project. I then specified /NOASSEMBLY in the project settings for the C++ dll, so it also generates a netmodule. In the C# project, I removed the reference to the C++ project, but added a project dependancy in the solution. I manually edited the C# project file to include similar to: <ItemGroup> <AddModules Include="..\Debug\librarycode.netmodule" /> </ItemGroup> i.e. to reference the C++ netmodule that is now generated by the C++ project. However, now the linker step in my post build event fails with: error LNK2027: unresolved module reference 'librarycode.netmodule' fatal error LNK1311: 1 unresolved module references: This is entirely understandable, as I am not linking in the librarycode netmodule; I am linking in the C++ object files used to generate the netmodule instead. So in short, how do I merge a c# executable and C++ object files into a single assembly? What have I missed? • jQuery CSS plugin that returns computed style of element to pseudo clone that element?

  I'm looking for a way using jQuery to return an object of computed styles for the 1st matched element. I could then pass this object to another call of jQuery's css method. For example, with width, I can do the following to make the 2 divs have the same width: $('#div2').width($('#div1').width()); It would be nice if I could make a text input look like an existing span: $('#input1').css($('#span1').css()); where .css() with no argument returns an object that can be passed to .css(obj). (I can't find a jQuery plugin for this, but it seems like it should exist. If it doesn't exist, I'll turn mine below into a plugin and post it with all the properties that I use.) Basically, I want to pseudo clone certain elements but use a different tag. For example, I have an li element that I want to hide and put an input element over it that looks the same. When the user types, it looks like they are editing the element inline. I'm also open to other approaches for this pseudo cloning problem for editing. Any suggestions? Here's what I currently have. The only problem is just getting all the possible styles. It works well and behaves exactly like the original css method with one exception: if 0 args are passed, it returns the computed style object. As you can see, it immediately calls the original css method if that's the case that applies. Otherwise, it gets the computed styles of all the listed properties (gathered from Firebug's computed style list). Although it's getting a long list of values, it's quite fast. Hope it's useful to others.

• Converting NSMutableData to NSString Problem

  initWithData does not convert my data object into a string properly. When I check the length of the data object, it has a value. NSMutableData* receivedData =[[NSMutableData data] retain]; NSString* json_string = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:receivedData encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; Am I doing something wrong creating the string?
