  • How to load image data from resource bitmap file for directshow filter ?

    I need put one bitmap image to my directshow filter. Then user can use this bitmap image and do not care where is it. First, I import this bitmap file into resource bundle, and get one IDB_BITMAP1. Then, I need to read this IDB_BITMAP1 using opencv cvLoadImage or some windows image API to load this image into buffer. So question is how to do this ? Or is that possible ? Thanks

    I've been assigned a research project to enhance social networking based adaptive e-learning and to do so I need to be able to extract several (hundreds, maybe thousands) of status updates or tweets in order to perform factor analysis on key words. Apparently this can be done with javascript but I have never used javascript before so I'm a bit lost. I know I need a Twitter API but not sure even how to use one. Anybody have any idea how I can do this?

    Hi, i have few questions for SQL gurus in here ... Briefly this is ads management system where user can define campaigns for different countries, categories, languages. I have few questions in mind so help me with what you can. Generally i'm using ASP.NET and i want to cache all result set of certain user once he asks for statistics for the first time, this way i will avoid large round-trips to server. any help is welcomed Click here for diagram with all details you need for my questions 1.Main issue of this application is to show to the user how many clicks/impressions were and how much money he spent on campaign. What is the easiest way to get this information for him? I will also include filtering by date, date ranges and few other params in this statistics table. 2.Other issue is what happens when user will try to edit campaign. Old campaign will die this means if user set 0.01$ as campaignPPU (pay-per-unit) and next day updates it to 0.05$ all will be reset to 0.05$. 3.If you could re-design some parts of table design so it would be more flexible and easier to modify, how would you do it?     I want to load a image (.bmp) file on a Win32 application, but I do not want to use the standard LoadBitmap/LoadImage from Windows API: I want it to load from a buffer that is already in memory. I can easily load a bitmap directly from file and print it on the screen, but this issue is making me stuck :( What I'm looking for is a function that works like this: HBITMAP LoadBitmapFromBuffer(char* buffer, int width, int height); Thanks.

    M2Crypto.X509.X509 objects have a verify(pkey) method, which provide a means of testing that a given certificate does in fact sign a specified key. This is a good and useful thing -- except that sometimes the certificate I want to verify in this way is invalid without the use of an intermediate certificate, which this API does not appear to allow a way to specify. Is there an alternate means of validating a certificate / private key pair which will work even when the certificate is unable to stand alone?

Right now I'm writing tortured code like this: if ( is_array($json['candidateList']['candidate'][0]) ) { foreach ($json['candidateList']['candidate'] as $candidate) { // do something to each object } } else { // do something to the single object } How can I handle it so the "do something" part of my code only appears once and uses a standard syntax?

    I'm using a low level native API where I send an unsafe byte buffer pointer to get a c-string value. So it gives me // using byte[255] c_str string s = new string(Encoding.ASCII.GetChars(c_str)); // now s == "heresastring\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0(etc)"; So obviously I'm not doing it right, how I get rid of the excess?

    Hi, I am writing a python script on Linux for twitter post using API, Is it possible to pass symbols like "(" ")" etc in clear text without apostrophes.... % ./twitterupdate this is me #works fine % ./twitterupdate this is bad :(( #this leaves a error on bash. Is the only alternative is to enclose the text into -- "" ?? like.. % ./twitterupdate "this is bad :((" #this will reduce the ease of use for the script Is there any workaround?
