getting Jomsocial profile fields [closed]

I am developing a custom module in Joomla for searching user profile in many ways. I want country, state and some other custom profile fields to be searched. I have tried importing jomsocial library class of profile fields, but I have one issue. I have no object to pass into that function as a parameter. I have tried to fetch field values from database, but I got them in as a single string which is not filtered. Can anyone help me to use jomsocial library in custom module Joomla?

Why do I get a connection error / timeout when using python suds to connect to Microsoft CRM?

When I try to connect to an MS CRM web service using suds/python-ntlm, I am getting a timeout on requests. However, the code that I'm trying to replace -- which calls out to the cURL command line app to do the same call -- succeeds. Clearly something is different in the way that cURL is sending the command data, but I'll be damned if I know what the difference is. Below are the full details of the various calls. Installing Rails, MySQL, etc. everything goes wrong

I've been struggling with this for a few hours. Everything just stopped working and I can't get it to work anymore. I'm a noob at Ruby, Ruby on Rails and the Terminal in general. This is really frustrating me so I just try to describe my problem as detailed as possible hoping someone can give me a solution. I'm on Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I couldn't get Rails working at all just now: Could not find gem 'rails' headaches But after some tries of reinstalling it, it suddenly worked again. But now I just can't get MySQL to work, and it sometimes even breaks the Rails installation again. This is what I do: sudo gem uninstall rails sudo gem uninstall mysql sudo gem uninstall mysql2 After these commands, I check the installed gems with gem list. No MySQL gem is listed anymore, but I can still see rails (2.3.5, 2.2.2, 1.2.6) . Is this normal? Does this mean I have 3 Rails installations? It doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, then I do this: sudo gem clean Which fails completely. I get a bunch of errors like this: Attempting to uninstall fcgi-0.8.7 Unable to uninstall fcgi-0.8.7: Gem::InstallError: cannot uninstall, check gem list -d fcgi It doesn't uninstall anything. At this point, I try to install everything again. I start with: sudo gem install rails Which succeeds (I think): Successfully installed rails-3.0.3 Successfully installed builder-2.1.2 2 gems installed Installing ri documentation for rails-3.0.3... File not found: lib Then, I update RubyGems: sudo gem update --system sudo gem install rubygems-update sudo update_rubygems Then it says I have 1.3.7 installed, so it succeeded, I think. So now I proceed with installing MySQL. I already got MySQL 5.5.8 installed on my machine. I did some research about installing MySQL on Snow Leopard, and it seems I have to use this command: sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-config=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config I get a bunch of errors like this: No definition for time_set_neg No definition for time_set_second_part No definition for time_equal No definition for error_errno At this point, I assume I got both Rails and the MySQL gem installed, so I try to start a new project. rails new user_group -d mysql It works! Rails is installed correctly. Now, I try generating a model. cd user_group rails generate model User It fails with this error: Could not find gem 'mysql2 (= 0, runtime)' in any of the gem sources listed in your Gemfile. Try running bundle install. So I try running bundle install. It installs a lot of gems. Then I try to generate my model again. I noticed that the same problem occurs with other wrapped libraries; if they themselves have external dependencies, the ClassNotFoundExceptions propagate like mad, even if I've wrapped the jars of the libraries they require and added them as dependencies to the original wrapped library module. My AT91SAM7X512's SPI peripheral gets disabled on the X time (X varies) that I write to SPI_TDR. As a result, the processor hangs on the while loop that checks the TDRE flag in SPI_SR. This while loop is located in the function SPI_Write() that belongs to the software package/library provided by ATMEL. The problem occurs arbitrarily - sometimes everything works OK and sometimes it fails on repeated attempts (attemp = downloading the same binary to the MCU and running the program). Configurations are (defined in the order of writing): SPI_MR: MSTR = 1 PS = 0 PCSDEC = 0 PCS = 0111 DLYBCS = 0 SPI_CSR[3]: CPOL = 0 NCPHA = 1 CSAAT = 0 BITS = 0000 SCBR = 20 DLYBS = 0 DLYBCT = 0 SPI_CR: SPIEN = 1 After setting the configurations, the code verifies that the SPI is enabled, by checking the SPIENS flag. Please note: The NPCS line num. 3 is a GPIO line (means, in PIO mode), and is not controlled by the SPI controller. I'm controlling this line by myself in the code, by de/asserting the ChipSelect#3 (NPCS3) pin when needed. The reason that I'm doing so is because that problems occurred while trying to let the SPI controller to control this pin. I didn't reset the SPI peripheral twice, because that the errata tells to reset it twice only if I perform a reset - which I don't do. Quoting the errata: If a software reset (SWRST in the SPI Control Register) is performed, the SPI may not work properly (the clock is enabled before the chip select.) Problem Fix/Workaround The SPI Control Register field, SWRST (Software Reset) needs to be written twice to be cor- rectly set. I noticed that sometimes, if I put a delay before the write to the SPI_TDR register (in SPI_Write()), then the code works perfectly and the communications succeeds. Loading a PyML multiclass classifier... why isn't this working?

This is a followup from "Save PyML.classifiers.multi.OneAgainstRest(SVM()) object?". I am using PyML for a computer vision project (pyimgattr), and have been having trouble storing/loading a multiclass classifier. When attempting to load one of the SVMs in a composite classifier, with loadSVM, I am getting: ValueError: invalid literal for float(): rest Note that this does not happen with the first classifier that I load, only with the second. What is causing this error, and what can I do to get around this so that I can properly load the classifier? Details To better understand the trouble I'm running into, you may want to look at pyimgattr.py (currently revision 11). I am invoking the program with "./pyimgattr.py train" which trains the classifier (invokes train on line 571, which trains the classifier with trainmulticlassclassifier on line 490 and saves it with storemulticlassclassifier on line 529), and then invoking the program with "./pyimgattr.py test" which loads the classifier in order to test it with the testing dataset (invokes test on line 628, which invokes loadmulticlassclassifier on line 549). The multiclass classifier consists of several one-against-rest SVMs which are saved individually. Unable to host WCF service correctly in IIS7

I have a WCF Service library written in .NET 4.0. I have a WCF application (in order to host this service in IIS) within the same solution. It contains the WCF library assembly reference and a service.svc file pointing to the service from the library along with a web.config that is a replica of the WCF service library's app.config. The WCF application is set to host the service in IIS7 (the virtual directory has been set). The same solution contains an ASP.NET Webforms solution to which I have added a service reference pointing to the WCF service I hosted in IIS (as mentioned). When i start an instance of this ASP.NET Web application, I get a message saying that "The WCF service has been hosted" and the ASP.NET application can access the data from it correctly. However, when i try and access this data via a service reference added to an MVC 2 Web Application on the same machine in a different solution (pointing to the service hosted in IIS), I get a "The remote server returned an error: (405) Method Not Allowed." protocol exception . However, the MVC application is able to access the service data if I manually invoke an instance of the WCF Application that I was using to host the WCF Service Library from the other solution. I am using VS2010 Beta 2 as my development IDE. I have been stuck with this issue for a while now. Any help would be appreciated. javascript to reference input IDs in php loop and pass values back to same input ID

I have a form which is essentially an autocomplete input box. I can get this to work perfectly for a single text box. What I need to do is create unique input boxes by using a php for loop. This will use the counter $i to give each input box a unique name and id. The problem is that the unique value of the input box needs to be passed to the javascript. this will then pass the inputted data to the external php page and return the mysql results. surfaceDestroyed called out of turn

I'm currently developing on minimum sdk version 3 (Android 1.5 - cupcake) and I'm having a strange unexplained issue that I have not been able to solve on my own. It is now becoming a rather urgent issue as I've already missed 1 deadline... I'm writing a high-level library to make long term android development easier and quicker. The one specific module has to capture images for a application... I've gotten everything right so far over the last couple months, except this one little thing and I don't know what to do any more: When I use the Camera object and implement a SurfaceHolder.Callback, the methods surfaceCreated() and surfaceChanged() are called one after the other. Then when the activity finishes, surfaceDestroyed() is called. This is how it should be, but when I stick the exact same code in my library (plain Java library that references the Android API - not in an activity), surfaceDestroyed() is called directly after created and changed. As a result - the camera object is closed before I can use it and the application force closes. What a pain. I can't do anything! This method call is controlled by the device.. Why does the surface close for no reason? Even when I post it to run on the activity thread through my own invokeAndWait(Runnable) method, like I do for many other things. I have 5 different working examples of different ways and implementations of capturing images in android but I still get the same issue when I plug it into my library. I don't understand what the difference is. The code is pretty much the same - and I post all the related code to the UI thread so its not a thread handling issue or anything like that. I've rewritten it about 20 times in different ways - same issue every time.. The only other way to approach it that I know of is creating a new Camera and setting it to the VideoView. The android source (c++ native code) however provides no Camera constructor, only an open() method which automatically forwards the camera's state to 'prepared' but I can only set the camera to the VideoView from the 'initialized' state. Pretty silly, I know, but there is no way around it unless I modify the Android library source code haha. not an option! The API does not allow for this method - you are expected to use it like my first example. So essentially - i just need to understand exactly why surfaceDestroyed() is called out of turn and if there is anything I can do to avoid it closing? If i can just understand the exact logic behind it and how it works! The documentation isn't much help! Secondly, if someone knows of any alternative ways to do it, as my second example, but hopefully one which the API actually allows for? haha Thanks guys. I would post code, but its fairly complicated, a couple thousand lines for this specific class and it would probably take a couple days to explain with all the threading and event listeners and what not. numpy calling sse2 via ctypes

Hello, In brief, I am trying to call into a shared library from python, more specifically, from numpy. The shared library is implemented in C using sse2 instructions. Enabling optimisation, i.e. building the library with -O2 or –O1, I am facing strange segfaults when calling into the shared library via ctypes. Disabling optimisation (-O0), everything works out as expected, as is the case when linking the library to a c-program directly (optimised or not). However, when calling the function via ctypes using _mm_load_pd always segfaults (independent of optimisation). JQuery dynamic .load - works for 1 and not for the other??

UPDATE: Site is online http://qwickqual.com/memorial/create/ under "Memoria Media" - Click on "Our Videos" and it loads the list of categories click on any sub category and it goes through the process below ---------------- end edit ---------------------------------- UPDATED DESCRIPTION OF ERROR: All code is based on <li> objects being linked If I click on an <li> from the Initial page load to load: section 1: I can click on an <li> to load sub-categories section 2: I then click on an <li>, the query is made server returns section 3, section is not loaded to screen / and callback function is skipped over perhaps someone has run into a similar issue before?? ---------------- end edit ---------------------------------- I've also added comments to the code I have a jquery function that is setup to load categorized lists of thumbnails. So far the function is in use in 3 location. Each of them generates HTML using the same template under django. The function works perfectly in 2 of the 3 locations, and I"m plain stumped as to why the 3rd won't work. Below is the complete set of relevant javascript, the page load HTML for the relevant section. And 2 examples of HTML that is loaded through the script, 1 of them works, 1 of them doesn't and both are loaded into the same page load HTML Any ideas what I'm missing here?
