• UpdatePanel, Repeater, DataBinding Problem

  In a user control, I've got a Repeater inside of an UpdatePanel (which id displayed inside of a ModalPopupExtender. The Repeater is databound using an array list of MyDTO objects. There are two buttons for each Item in the list. Upon binding the ImageURL and CommandArgument are set. This code works fine the first time around but the CommandArgument is wrong thereafter. It seems like the display is updated correctly but the DTO isn't and the CommandArgument sent is the one that has just been removed. Can anybody spot any problems with the code?   Hi, I have a parent child relationship, let's say class and children. Each child belongs to a class and has a grade. I need to select the children (or the ids of the children) with the lowest grade per class. session.CreateCriteria(typeof(Classs)) .CreateAlias("Children", "children") .SetProjection(Projections.ProjectionList() .Add(Projections.Min("children.Grade")) .Add(Projections.GroupProperty("Id")) ) .List<Object[]>(); This query returns me the lowest grade per class, but I don't know which child got the grade. When I add the children's Id to the group, the group is wrong and every child gets returned. I was hoping we could just select get the id's of those childs without grouping them. If this is not possible, then maybe there is a way to solve this with subqueries?

• Storage device not found on ESX4 with AIC-9410

  I am trying to install ESX 4.0 update 1 on a Supermicro X7DBR-3 system with an embedded AIC-9410 HBA (this HBA is listed on the HCG with Vendor ID 9005 and Device ID 041f) . All SATA controllers are disabled in the BIOS and the logical drive shows up in the Adaptec device summary during POST, however there is nothing listed on the Storage Device screen. The HBA itself is listed if I run esxcfg-info but not if I run esxcfg-scsidevs -a (under ESXi for that last command) Any ideas where I can look next or what might be wrong?

  I need some simple databinding for a Spinner. I want to display 2 items for each dropdownitem. So when the user clicks the spinner I get a list like: ------------------- Name 123456 ------------------- Name 123456 ------------------- I understand this can be done when using a Cursor, according to the databinding info on android dev. Like: SimpleCursorAdapter adapter2 = new SimpleCursorAdapter(this, R.layout.my_custom_spinner_item_layout, cur, new String[] {People.NAME, People.ID}, new int[] {android.R.id.text1, android.R.id.text2}); However, I don't get my data from a database, so I don't use a cursor, I use a ArrayAdapter. Unfortunately it looks like there is no support for databinding with this adapter. Is there a way to do this?

• Using Objective-C blocks with old compiler

  I'm using the opensource iPhone toolchain on Linux for developing for jailbroken iPhones. I'd like to take advantage of the new (4.0, 5.0) iOS SDK features, but I can't as my old build of GCC doesn't understand the ^ block syntax. I noticed that blocks are just of type id (struct objc_object *). I know this from two resources: first, class-dump reports them as id, second, Apple docs clarify that "blocks can be retained". My quiestion is, how can I take advantage of blocks using this knowledge? I thought of something like: // this is in SDK 4.x/5.x - (void) doSomethingWithBlock:((int)(^block)(int)); // and I modify it like: - (void) doSomethingWithBlock(id)block; the question is: HOW TO ACTUALLY CALL IT? How do I create blocks? I can, of course, create function pointers (IMPs in particular), but how to achieve the object-like memory layout?

Sample data for fact table: ID Salary 4 6000 5 5000 7 4000 Is there any good to way to display the hierarchy from hierarchy table with aggregated sum of salary based on employees. Expected result is like Name Salary PA 15000 (Pittsburgh + others(if any)) Pittusburgh 15000 (Accounts + HR) Accounts 11000 (Alex + Robin) Alex 6000 (direct values) Robin 5000 HR 4000 Robert 4000 In my production environment, hierarchy table may contain 23000+ rows and fact table may contain 300,000+ rows. So, I thought of providing any level of groupid to the query to retrieve just its children and its corresponding aggregated value. Any better solution?

  I am attempting to create an enrollment process similar to SO's: route to an OpenID provider provider returns the user's information to the UsersController (a guess) UsersController creates user, then routes to the ProfilesController's new or edit action.   Hi guys. I have this little question, thats been on my head for while now. Here it goes: Is it possible to temporary disable the Auto_Increment on the collum ID. So that i can add a new row to the table and being able specify the ID value when inserting the row. And then in the end enable the Auto_Increment again, and let do its work as usual? And if its possible how can i do it. The Table structure is very simple Collum Name (atributes) ID (Primary Key, Auto Increment, int, not null) Name (nvarchar(100), not null) Notice: The table name is: People. Lets also consider that the table already has data and cannot be changed. The database server is SQL Server CE. The SQL commands will be executed in a C# program, if its of any help. In an effort to do something with the jQuery Calculation plugin, I am playing with the basic example of the order form on the plugin site. I want to have the grand total as a form field,rather than text, so I can use the value. Now what I'm trying to do and can't seem to figure out is the following: When a user types "mywebsite.com/products?id=12345" into the browser address bar, I want the server to serve the right product page according to the ID but display it in the address bar as "mywebsite.com/product" no matter what the product ID is. Is this possible to do? If yes how? Thanks

• Map a column to be IDENTITY in db with EF4 Code-Only

  Although I have marked my ID column with .Identity(), the generated database schema doesn't have IDENTITY set to true, which gives me problems when I'm adding records. If I manually edit the database schema (in SQL Management Studio) to have the Id column marked IDENTITY, everything works as I want it - I just can't make EF do that by itself.   Hi everybody, I've got a list of dict in Python: dico_cfg = {'name': entry_name, 'ip': entry_ip, 'vendor': combo_vendor, 'stream': combo_stream} self.list_cfg.append(dico_cfg) I append to my list a lot of dict in the same way. Now I would like to delete one dict and only one dict in this list? What is the best way to proceed? I've try with the index of the list, but when I remove a dict from the list, the index is modify, so after some random remove my index doesn't correspond anymore to the dict I want to remove in my list. I hope that is clear. Maybe I can add an "id" row in my dict, so I can ask to remove more preciously the dict I want. I'll ask to remove the dict where id is equal to the id's dict I want to remove. How can I do that? I hope I'm enough clear. Sorry but I'm a newbie in Python.

• Parsing error when using getSearchResultsForQuery of MGTwitterEngine
