  • jQuery Sales Tax

    Hello everyone! I have created a function (see below) that calculates a 7.5% sales tax. Now I need help doing the following: Have totalTax() take in 2 arguments one for the price and one for the tax. On submit (use the onSubmit event handler to call this function) have the function process the price and the tax by manipulating the arguments you passed in.   • Python: Set window focus on terminal

    Hey, I have a python application that opens some plots for me and then asks the user for input. The problem is, that after opening the plot, the focus isn't on the terminal anymore, so you have to click or tab to it manually. I would like to set the focus to the terminal window with python - is that possible? I'm using gnuplot.py, maybe there is an option to open the plot in the background? Thanks!

  • inputAccessoryView not hide the view when -resignFirstResponder?

    I have attached a toolbar with a UITextField and UIButton to the keyboard when it becomes the first responder via the user taping inside the textfield textField.inputAccessoryView = theToolbar; Problem is, the toolbar disappears when the keyboard is dismissed, thus preventing any further input. Any ideas on how to make the toolbar go back to the bottom of the screen rather than off it completely? I'm thinking a delegate method might help but Im really not too sure. It seems once the inputAccessoryView always the inputAccessoryView :( Cheers

  • Any tips for how to build a LED sytem thet will light up to music?

    So basically I would like somehow that given an audio file as input (most likely mp3 or I can use some audio engine that will handle other types too) from my computer to control some LED lights so they will be something like an oscilloscope, like the one in winamp. I can resolve the message by saying "return true". Should I always specify a return type for this?

    I am supposed to make this simple program. It produces a multiplication problem, and when the user types the correct answer, it is supposed to produce another question. Instead it goes into an infinite loop and never stops, the answer field and the button go away. Also, I am supposed to make the comment about the users answer, one of 4 different sayings. Without using Arrays how would I do that?   • upload form only works in Firefox when uploading ASCII .stl 3D files

    uploadform.html and upload_file.php (below) works fine in Firefox but fails in Chrome, IE, and Safari when uploading ASCII .stl 3D files. Error message is "Invalid file" and problem occurs with multiple computers and multiple .stl files. When I modify the code to support other file types like JPG and PDF it allows those file types in all three web browsers. Also, Firefox only allows the .stl upload if I include application/octet-stream in the mime types section.     I am needing to get the browser height and width of the browser window with vb. I can get these values by setting an ASP.Net hidden input control using javascript, after the page has loaded and a post back is done. I need to be able to get these values when the page initially loads so I can create an image based on those values. I am still new at VB.Net, so any help would be great. Thanks!
