  • how to disable hyperlink browsing from an Html editor ?

    Hello , how do I disable browsing to a http link from a Html editor. I have a vb.net web form with a html editor, when I add a hyperlink to the html editor, for example my application website for instance http://myapplication/myloginpage.aspx When I run and click the link I can browse my application from inside the Html Editor, which is so weird. How do I stop this from happening. This is an Intranet application. And the component for Html Editor is of TMS.

    As I understand it, C# passes parameters into methods by reference. In vb.net, you can specify this with ByVal and ByRef. The default is ByVal. Is this for compatibility with vb6, or is it just random? Also, how can I specify what to use in C#? I kind of like the idea of passing parameters by value.

Can I lookup the status of the service without having admin right in remote machine ?

  • MS Runtime required for app to run, how can I include with setup?

    My application requires access to be installed on the computer or at least the MS Access runtime. Is their a way to include that with the application to check for that component/resource or install it if it isn't?     I have to take over a project written in vb.net, which more than 400k lines of code written in option strict off mode. I want to build it under option strict on first before I do anything else -- which maybe converting it into C#. I found there's thousands of lines of code raises compilation error, mostly are about implicit type casts. Is there any tool would help to make it compile under option strict on mode if I don't want to correct every single line manually?
