    Hello, I am trying to install the PotionStore on my Mac OS X 10.6 server with Ruby on Rails 3 installed. Upon launching the server on port 3000 and pointing safari to this address, I get this: NameError in Store/orderController#index uninitialized constant ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::PostgreSQLAdapter::PGconn What does this mean? I'm not too advanced with Ruby on Rails, so this throws me a bit.

    so I have array like ParamsArray {a,b,a,a,...b} (so i have 2 kinds of parameters in this array - a and b) (here I have N strings) and another array - DataArray {data1,data2,...dataN} (different strings) (here I have N strings) Now I created 2 new arrays ArrayA and ArrayB and I wanta want to feel arra ArrayA with all data (strings) from DataArray which correspond (by index in array) to a param in ParamsArray. and so strings that correspond to param B should appear in ArrayB.   • I call session_start() the script hangs and nothing happens

    I am running php5, however as soon as I call session_start() the script hangs and nothing happens. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or am I doing something incorrectly? I am using session_start() on index.php and for some reason sometimes it'll fail. No warnings, no errors, no notices, not even after prepending error_reporting(E_ALL) and ini_set('display_errors', TRUE) before session_start() do I see anything, it just plain dies.

    Our existing compile-time assert implementation is based on negative array index, and it provides poor diagnostic output on GCC. C++0x's static_assert is a very nice feature, and the diagnostic output it provides is much better. I know GCC has already implemented some C++0x features. Does anyone know if static_assert is among them and if it is then since what GCC version?

    I'm reading this book called beej's guide to network programming and there's a part in the book were it provide a sample code which illustrate the use of getaddrinfo(); the book state that the code below "will print the IP addresses for whatever host you specify on the command line" - beej's guide to network programming. now I'm curious and want to try it out and run the code, but I guess the code was develop in UNIX environment and I'm using visual studio 2012 windows 7 OS, and most of the headers was not supported so I did a bit of research and find out that I need to include the winsock.h and ws2_32.lib for windows, for it to get working, fortunately everything compiled no errors, but when I run it using the debugger and put in 'www.google.com' as command argument I was disappointed that it did not print any ipaddress, the output that I got from the console is "getaddrinfo: E" what does the letter E mean? Do I need to configure something out of the debugger?   • HashMap.containsValue - What's the point?

    I've got a HashMap and I need to fetch an item by its integer value. I notice there's a containsValue() function, but it would appear I still have to iterate through the map to find the correct index anyway. My question is; why use containsValue() if I'm required to traverse it afterwards? Also, am I missing the point completely? ;-)

  • redirect wont work in Chrome

    I have a form on my website. When this form is filled out, it is then validated by a javascript validation function. At the bottom of this function I have this piece of code: window.location="../index.html"; This wont work on Chrome, but does work in Firefox. My Q is, how can I make this simple redirect work on all (most) browsers? Thanks

  • codeigniter not being able to get the full param from url?

    Im having a weird issue that i cant seem to fix. It's dealing with viewing a company and adding a location to that company. when viewing a company, my url would look like this: domain.com/company/view/415 So clearly 415 is the ID of company, the company shows up correctly on my company view page. Now comes the weird part. when clicking on an "Add Location" link, which would take me to : domain.com/location/add/415 so once again this should be saying Location / Add / 415 (company ID 415) on this page, if i do it will echo 4 (instead of 415...the company id) if the company id is 754, the php echo $data['id'] would echo 7 (instead of 754). So its stripping the last 2 numbers off the Company ID.     I'm trying to replace elements of a data.frame containing "#N/A" with "NULL", and I'm running into problems: foo <- data.frame("day"= c(1, 3, 5, 7), "od" = c(0.1, "#N/A", 0.4, 0.8)) indices_of_NAs <- which(foo == "#N/A") replace(foo, indices_of_NAs, "NULL") Error in [<-.data.frame(*tmp*, list, value = "NULL") : new columns would leave holes after existing columns I think that the problem is that my index is treating the data.frame as a vector, but that the replace function is treating it differently somehow, but I'm not sure what the issue is?
