  • MVC Multiple submit buttons on a array of objects

    - by Kieron
Hi, I've got a list of objects in an MVC view, each with a set of submit buttons - Move up, Move down and Remove. Using the answer from this question, I can get the button clicked - but I need to know which item it would be operating on. The problem comes from the fact the input's value attribute is passed back, I need more information than that - i.e. an id. Below is a snippet of the contents of a for loop, rendering each item. <ul> <li><input type="submit" name="SubmitButton" value="Move-Up" class="linked-content-position-modifier" /></li> <li><input type="submit" name="SubmitButton" value="Move-Down" class="linked-content-position-modifier" /></li> <li><input type="submit" name="SubmitButton" value="Remove" class="linked-content-modifier" /></li> <li><%= Model.Contents[i] %></li> </ul> When the form is posted back, I can see that the SubmitButton has a value of either Move-Up, Move-Down or Remove - but no idea which item in the array it's referring too. Without changing the value to something really ugly, how would I tell which item it's referring to?

  • Error when starting a tab activity in Android?

    - by ATDeveloper
I followed the directions verbatim in this Android tutorial, copying/pasting the code from the site to my app. http://developer.android.com/resources/tutorials/views/hello-tabwidget.html However, when I try to run in the Android emulator, I get the error: "The application Hello Tab Widget has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I tried debugging by introducing a breakpoint in the first line of the onCreate method, but the error occurs before the breakpoint is even hit. Any idea of what is going wrong, or any other way I can debug this issue? I am using Eclipse.

  • Mercurial push error - hook failed

I committed some changesets. Now I want to push them to remote repository. I'm pretty sure pretxnchangegroup.crlf is involved in this, maybe a python file ? I use only unicode characters in files committed

  • WCF - Multiple schema HTTP and HTTPS in the same service

    - by Ender
    I am trying to set up WCF service in production. The service has two bindings with two different interfaces. One endpoint (basicHttpBinding) is set up at HTTP and the other endpoint (wsHttpBinding) is set up securely over SSL. I can't get this scenario to work. Everything works with no problem if both endpoints are set up over HTTP. Before I even get into the specifics of errors I get, is is possible to run secure and insecure endpoint over the same service ? Here is a brief description of my configuration: <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="MyServiceBehavior"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" httpsGetEnabled="true" /> <serviceCredentials> <serviceCertificate findValue="123312123123123123123399451b178" storeLocation="LocalMachine" storeName="My" x509FindType="FindByThumbprint" /> <issuedTokenAuthentication allowUntrustedRsaIssuers="true"/> </serviceCredentials> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="basicHttpBinding" maxReceivedMessageSize="2147483647"> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> <wsHttpBinding> <binding name="wsHttpBinding" maxReceivedMessageSize="2147483647"> <security mode="TransportWithMessageCredential"> <message clientCredentialType="UserName" establishSecurityContext="False"/> </security> </binding> </wsHttpBinding> </bindings> <services> <service behaviorConfiguration="MyServiceBehavior" name="MyService"> <endpoint binding="wsHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="wsHttpBinding" contract="IMyService1"> </endpoint> <endpoint address="mms" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="basicHttpBinding" contract="IMyService2"> </endpoint> <endpoint address="mex" listenUri="" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> </service> </services> Thanks !

  • Thrift client-server multiple roles

    - by dexter
Hi, this is my first question, so sorry if the form is wrong! I'm trying to make thrift server (python) and client (c++). However I need to exchange messages in both direction. Client should register (call server's function and wait), and server should listen on same port for N (N- 100k) incoming connections (clients). After some conditions are satisfied, server needs to call functions on each client and collect results and interpret them. I'm little confused, and first questions is "can this be done in Thrift"? Second question is related to mechanism that will allow me bidirectional communication. I guess that I will need two services. One with client's functions other with server's. But I'm confused with calling code. I understand one way communication (calling functions from server), but with calling functions from client side I have a problem. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

  • BlackBerry - TouchEvent on multiple managers

    - by rupesh
    Hi all i am new to blackberry application development here is my question i am using two verticalfieldmanager "layout" and "manager" in my application. layout has three custom button field and layout is inside manager. i am not able to implement touch event , here is my code: public class MenuScreen extends MainScreen { public MenuScreen() { super(Screen.DEFAULT_CLOSE); Bitmap menuBackgroundImage = Bitmap .getBitmapResource("com/greetings/Images/MenuBackground.jpg"); final VerticalFieldManager layout = new VerticalFieldManager() { public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message) { int x = message.getGlobalX(1); int y = message.getGlobalY(1); if (getExtent().contains(x, y)) { int fieldI = getFieldAtLocation(x, y); Field field = getField(fieldI); field.setFocus(); return super.touchEvent(message); } return false; } }; ButtonField categories = new ButtonField("Categories") { public void run() { Dialog.alert("one"); } public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message) { int x = message.getX(1); int y = message.getY(1); int w = getWidth(); int h = getHeight(); if (x >= 0 && x <= w && y >= 0 && y <= h) { switch (message.getEvent()) { case TouchEvent.DOWN: setFocus(); return true; case TouchEvent.UNCLICK: run(); return true; } } return false; } }; ButtonField help = new ButtonField("Help") { public void run() { Dialog.alert("help"); } public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message) { int x = message.getX(1); int y = message.getY(1); int w = getWidth(); int h = getHeight(); if (x >= 0 && x <= w && y >= 0 && y <= h) { switch (message.getEvent()) { case TouchEvent.DOWN: setFocus(); return true; case TouchEvent.UNCLICK: run(); return true; } } return false; } }; ButtonField developer = new ButtonField("Developer") { public void run() { Dialog.alert("Developer"); } public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message) { int x = message.getX(1); int y = message.getY(1); int w = getWidth(); int h = getHeight(); if (x >= 0 && x <= w && y >= 0 && y <= h) { switch (message.getEvent()) { case TouchEvent.DOWN: setFocus(); return true; case TouchEvent.UNCLICK: run(); return true; } } return false; } }; layout.add(categories); layout.add(help); layout.add(developer); VerticalFieldManager manager = new VerticalFieldManager() { protected void sublayout(int width, int height) { width = Display.getWidth(); height = Display.getHeight(); super.sublayout(width, height); setPositionChild(layout, width - 245, height - 350); setExtent(width, height); } }; manager.setBackground(BackgroundFactory .createBitmapBackground(menuBackgroundImage)); manager.add(layout); add(manager); } }

  • Error setting up thrift modules for python

Hi, I'm trying to set up thrift in order to incorporate with Cassandra, so when I ran the setup.py it out puts this message in command line running build running build_py running build_ext building 'thrift.protocol.fastbinary' extension C:\MinGW\bin\gcc.exe -mno-cygwin -mdll -O -Wall -IC:\Python26\include -IC:\Pytho n26\PC -c src/protocol/fastbinary.c -o build\temp.win32-2.6\Release\src\protocol \fastbinary.o src/protocol/fastbinary.c:24:24: netinet/in.h: No such file or directory src/protocol/fastbinary.c:85:4: #error "Cannot determine endianness" src/protocol/fastbinary.c: In function `writeI16': src/protocol/fastbinary.c:295: warning: implicit declaration of function `htons' src/protocol/fastbinary.c: In function `writeI32': src/protocol/fastbinary.c:300: warning: implicit declaration of function `htonl' src/protocol/fastbinary.c: In function `readI16': src/protocol/fastbinary.c:688: warning: implicit declaration of function `ntohs' src/protocol/fastbinary.c: In function `readI32': src/protocol/fastbinary.c:696: warning: implicit declaration of function `ntohl' error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1 Need some helping on this issue.I have already install the MigW32 Thanks.

  • Run WCF ServiceHost with multiple contracts

    - by Sam
Running a ServiceHost with a single contract is working fine like this: servicehost = new ServiceHost(typeof(MyService1)); servicehost.AddServiceEndpoint(typeof(IMyService1), new NetTcpBinding(), "net.tcp://127.0.0.1:800/MyApp/MyService1"); servicehost.Open(); Now I'd like to add a second (3rd, 4th, ...) contract. My first guess would be to just add more endpoints like this: servicehost = new ServiceHost(typeof(MyService1)); servicehost.AddServiceEndpoint(typeof(IMyService1), new NetTcpBinding(), "net.tcp://127.0.0.1:800/MyApp/MyService1"); servicehost.AddServiceEndpoint(typeof(IMyService2), new NetTcpBinding(), "net.tcp://127.0.0.1:800/MyApp/MyService2"); servicehost.Open(); But of course this does not work, since in the creation of ServiceHost I can either pass MyService1 as parameter or MyService2 - so I can add a lot of endpoints to my service, but all have to use the same contract, since I only can provide one implementation? I got the feeling I'm missing the point, here. Sure there must be some way to provide an implementation for every endpoint-contract I add, or not?

  • iphone problem - UIKit precompile error

    - by tigermain
I've been working on a project for a few weeks now and today is the last day before it goes to client (typical). For some reason Im suddenly getting the following error when building my project (sim or device), even though other projects build fine /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator3.1.3.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/Headers/UIKit.h:61:42: error: UIKit/UIVideoEditorController.h: No such file or directory The last thing I was trying to do was use the UIMessage framework for email, but I have stripped that out!?!? N.B I have checked and the .h file does appear to be in the same folder as the UIKit.h file

  • Multiple dependent select boxes, the Rails way?

    - by Adam Carlile
Hey Guys I am trying to create a car application, each car belongs to a make and model, but only certain makes have certain models. So I would like a series of select boxes that are populated dynamically based on the previous, however I also would like to add another record to that select box if you cant find the one you want. I would just like to know your thoughts on how to accomplish this in a rails way? Cheers Adam

  • Config for WCF with multiple endpoints

    - by vdh_ant
Hi guys I'm new to WCF and am trying to get some ideas I have off the ground. Basically I have a web WCF Application project with the following in its web.config: <system.serviceModel> <services> <service name="WcfService1.ServiceContract.IDirectorySearchService" behaviorConfiguration="defaultServiceBehavior"> <endpoint name="restxml" address="xml" binding="webHttpBinding" contract="WcfService1.ServiceContract.IDirectorySearchServiceXml" behaviorConfiguration="xmlRestBehavior"/> <endpoint name="restjson" address="json" binding="webHttpBinding" contract="WcfService1.ServiceContract.IDirectorySearchServiceJson" behaviorConfiguration="jsonRestBehavior"/> <endpoint name="soap" address="soap" binding="basicHttpBinding" contract="WcfService1.ServiceContract.IDirectorySearchService"/> <endpoint name="mex" address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange"/> </service> </services> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="defaultServiceBehavior"> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"/> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> <endpointBehaviors> <behavior name="xmlRestBehavior"> <webHttp/> </behavior> <behavior name="jsonRestBehavior"> <enableWebScript/> </behavior> </endpointBehaviors> </behaviors> </system.serviceModel> My interfaces look like this: [ServiceContract] public interface IDirectorySearchServiceXml { [OperationContract] [WebGet(UriTemplate = "Search/")] SearchResults Search(); } [ServiceContract] public interface IDirectorySearchServiceJson { [OperationContract] [WebGet(UriTemplate = "Search/")] SearchResults Search(); } [ServiceContract] public interface IDirectorySearchService { [OperationContract] SearchResults Search(int? sportId, int? instituteId, DateTime? startDate, DateTime? endDate); } Now the part I am having a little trouble with is what else I need to get this up and running... Like given this what .svc files do I need and do I have the config right... Also what addresses do I need to use to get this running either through the browser or through the WCF test client. Note I am currently using 3.5. Cheers Anthony

  • Using Multiple TinyMCE Packages in a web site asp.net

    - by ProgNet
Hi all, I got a detailed answer to my previous question about TinyMCE editor (link text) The answer raised a new question . In case I want to use more then one TinyMCE package in my ASP.Net Project For example to use the Development Package and the .Net Package(Or use the Development Package , the .Net Package and the JQuery Package ). what steps do I need to take to include them in my solution? In TinyMCE web site Installation page ( wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:Installation ) they wrote : "You should extract TinyMCE in your wwwroot or site domain root folder." But the problem is all the different packages unzip to the same folder name that is tinymce. There can't be more then one folder with the tinymce name in the site domain root folder. (files will be overwritten) Of course I can rename them for example to TinyMCEDev and TinyMceDotNet ,but what about code redundancy issues etc ? Thanks

  • Django QuerySet filter method returns multiple entries for one record

    - by Yaroslav
Trying to retrieve blogs (see model description below) that contain entries satisfying some criteria: Blog.objects.filter(entries__title__contains='entry') The results is: [<Blog: blog1>, <Blog: blog1>] The same blog object is retrieved twice because of JOIN performed to filter objects on related model. What is the right syntax for filtering only unique objects? Data model: class Blog(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=100) def __unicode__(self): return self.name class Entry(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=100) blog = models.ForeignKey(Blog, related_name='entries') def __unicode__(self): return self.title Sample data: b1 = Blog.objects.create(name='blog1') e1 = Entry.objects.create(title='entry 1', blog=b1) e1 = Entry.objects.create(title='entry 2', blog=b1)

  • Multiple overlay items in android

    - by Bostjan
I seem to be having a problem with using ItemizedOverlay and OveralyItems in it. I can get the first overlayItem to appear on the map but not any items after that. Code sample is on: http://www.anddev.org/multiple_overlay_items-t12171.html Quick overview here: public class Markers extends ItemizedOverlay { private Context ctx; private ArrayList<OverlayItem> mOverlays = new ArrayList<OverlayItem>(); public Markers(Drawable defaultMarker, Context cont) { super(boundCenterBottom(defaultMarker)); this.ctx = cont; // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub } @Override protected OverlayItem createItem(int i) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub return mOverlays.get(i); } @Override public boolean onTap(GeoPoint p, MapView mapView) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub return super.onTap(p, mapView); } @Override protected boolean onTap(int index) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub Toast.makeText(this.ctx, mOverlays.get(index).getTitle().toString()+", Latitude: "+mOverlays.get(index).getPoint().getLatitudeE6(), Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show(); return super.onTap(index); } @Override public int size() { // TODO Auto-generated method stub return mOverlays.size(); } public void addOverlay(OverlayItem item) { mOverlays.add(item); setLastFocusedIndex(-1); populate(); } public void clear() { mOverlays.clear(); setLastFocusedIndex(-1); populate(); }} Markers usersMarker = new Markers(user, overview.this); GeoPoint p = new GeoPoint((int) (lat * 1E6),(int) (lon * 1E6)); OverlayItem item = new OverlayItem(p,userData[0],userData[3]); item.setMarker(this.user); usersMarker.addOverlay(item); The lines after the class are just samples of how it's used the first marker shows up on the map but if I add any more they don't show up? Is there a problem with the populate() method? I tried calling it manually after adding all markers but it still didn't help. Please, if you have any idea what could be wrong, say so.

  • Code Trivia: optimize the code for multiple nested loops

    - by CodeToGlory
I came across this code today and wondering what are some of the ways we can optimize it. Obviously the model is hard to change as it is legacy, but interested in getting opinions. Changed some names around and blurred out some core logic to protect. private static Payment FindPayment(Order order, Customer customer, int paymentId) { Payment payment = Order.Payments.FindById(paymentId); if (payment != null) { if (payment.RefundPayment == null) { return payment; } if (String.Compare(payment.RefundPayment, "refund", true) != 0 ) { return payment; } } Payment finalPayment = null; foreach (Payment testpayment in Order.payments) { if (testPayment.Customer.Name != customer.Name){continue;} if (testPayment.Cancelled) { continue; } if (testPayment.RefundPayment != null) { if (String.Compare(testPayment.RefundPayment, "refund", true) == 0 ) { continue; } } if (finalPayment == null) { finalPayment = testPayment; } else { if (testPayment.Value > finalPayment.Value) { finalPayment = testPayment; } } } if (finalPayment == null) { return payment; } return finalPayment; } Making this a wiki so code enthusiasts can answer without worrying about points.

  • Multiple Components in a JTree Node Renderer & Node Editor

    - by Samad Lotia
I am attempting to create a JTree where a node has several components: a JPanel that holds a JCheckBox, followed by a JLabel, then a JComboBox. I have attached the code at the bottom if one wishes to run it. Fortunately the JTree correctly renders the components. However when I click on the JComboBox, the node disappears; if I click on the JCheckBox, it works fine. It seems that I am doing something wrong with how the TreeCellEditor is being set up. How could I resolve this issue? Am I going beyond the capabilities of JTree? Here's a quick overview of the code I have posted below. The class EntityListDialog merely creates the user interface. It is not useful to understand it other than the createTree method. Node is the data structure that holds information about each node in the JTree. All Nodes have a name, but samples may be null or an empty array. This should be evident by looking at EntityListDialog's createTree method. The name is used as the text of the JCheckBox. If samples is non-empty, it is used as the contents of the JCheckBox. NodeWithSamplesRenderer renders Nodes whose samples are non-empty. It creates the complicated user interface with the JPanel consisting of the JCheckBox and the JComboBox. NodeWithoutSamplesRenderer creates just a JCheckBox when samples is empty. RendererDispatcher decides whether to use a NodeWithSamplesRenderer or a NodeWithoutSamplesRenderer. This entirely depends on whether Node has a non-empty samples member or not. It essentially functions as a means for the NodeWith*SamplesRenderer to plug into the JTree. Code listing: import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; import java.util.*; import javax.swing.*; import javax.swing.tree.*; public class EntityListDialog { final JDialog dialog; final JTree entitiesTree; • sqlite - any improvements for this attach code (running multiple sql commands transactionally in sql

    - by Greg
    Hi, Is this code solid? I've tried to use "using" etc. Basically a method to pass as sequenced list of SQL commands to be run against a Sqlite database. I assume it is true that in sqlite by default all commands run in a single connection are handled transactionally? Is this true? i.e. I should not have to (and haven't got in the code at the moment) a BeginTransaction, or CommitTransaction. It's using http://sqlite.phxsoftware.com/ as the sqlite ADO.net database provider. private int ExecuteNonQueryTransactionally(List<string> sqlList) { int totalRowsUpdated = 0; using (var conn = new SQLiteConnection(_connectionString)) { // Open connection (one connection so should be transactional - confirm) conn.Open(); // Apply each SQL statement passed in to sqlList foreach (string s in sqlList) { using (var cmd = new SQLiteCommand(conn)) { cmd.CommandText = s; totalRowsUpdated = totalRowsUpdated + cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); } } } return totalRowsUpdated; }

  • Linking with Boost error

    - by drhorrible
    I just downloaded and ran the boost installer for version 1.42 (from boostpro.com), and set up my project according to the getting started guide. However, when I build the program, I get this linker error: LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_program_options-vc90-mt-gd-1_42.lib' The build log adds this (I've replaced project-specific paths with *'s): Creating temporary file "******\Debug\RSP00001252363252.rsp" with contents [ /OUT:"*********.exe" /INCREMENTAL /LIBPATH:"C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_42_0\lib" /MANIFEST /MANIFESTFILE:"Debug\hw6.exe.intermediate.manifest" /MANIFESTUAC:"level='asInvoker' uiAccess='false'" /DEBUG /PDB:"********\Debug\***.pdb" /SUBSYSTEM:CONSOLE /DYNAMICBASE /NXCOMPAT /MACHINE:X86 kernel32.lib user32.lib gdi32.lib winspool.lib comdlg32.lib advapi32.lib shell32.lib ole32.lib oleaut32.lib uuid.lib odbc32.lib odbccp32.lib ".\Debug\****.obj" ".\Debug\****.exe.embed.manifest.res" ] Creating command line "link.exe @********\Debug\RSP00001252363252.rsp /NOLOGO /ERRORREPORT:PROMPT" I've also emailed [email protected] (with a message very similar to this), but I thought maybe so would be faster.

  • How to generate multiple levels with GraphViz (Image_Graphviz interface for PHP)

    - by ropstah
    Hi, i'm trying to generate the following diagram using Image_GraphViz for PEAR. However It only shows a top-level node (with the text "0") and childnodes "1", "2", "3" and "4" directly under the top-node. Am I missing something? This is the code: $gv = new Image_GraphViz(true); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2')); $gv->addEdge(array('2', '3')); $gv->addEdge(array('2', '4')); $gv->addEdge(array('3', '5')); $gv->addEdge(array('3', '6')); $gv->addEdge(array('3', '7')); $gv->addEdge(array('4', '5')); echo $gv->fetch('svg'); I tried the following, but this is obviously wrong :). $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '3')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '4')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '3', '5')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '3', '6')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '3', '7')); $gv->addEdge(array('1', '2', '4', '5')); I understand there are two ways to get to 5. Through (1, 2, 3, 5) and/or (1, 2, 4, 5). The image should just show two lines going to 5. I'm very confused, any suggestions?

  • Simultaneous launch of Multiple Kernels using CUDA for a GPU

    - by cudadev
Is it possible to launch two kernels that do independent tasks, simultaneously. For example if I have this Cuda code // host and device initialization ....... ....... // launch kernel1 myMethod1 <<<.... (params); // launch kernel2 myMethod2 <<<..... (params); Assuming that these kernels are independent, is there a facility to launch them at the same time allocating few grids/blocks for each. Does CUDA/OpenCL have this provision.

  • Workflow Foundation 4 - DeclarativeServiceLibrary - Error while calling second ReceiveAndSendReply

    - by dotnetexperiments
Hi, I have created a DeclarativeServiceLibrary using VS2010 beta 2, Please check this image of Sequential Service Following is the code used to call these two activities ` int? data = 123; ServiceReference1.ServiceClient client1 = new ServiceReference1.ServiceClient(); string result1 = client1.GetData(data); //This line shows error :( string result2 = client1.Operation1(); Response.Write(result1 + " :: ::" + result2);` client1.GetData works perfectly, but client1.Operation1 show the following error. Please let me know how to fix this. There is no context attached to the incoming message for the service and the current operation is not marked with "CanCreateInstance = true". In order to communicate with this service check whether the incoming binding supports the context protocol and has a valid context initialized.

  • Multiple "pages" in GWT with human friendly URLs

    - by Andreas Borglin
Hi. I'm playing with a GWT/GAE project which will have three different "pages", although it is not really pages in a GWT sense. The top views (one for each page) will have completely different layouts, but some of the widgets will be shared. One of the pages is the main page which is loaded by the default url (http://www.site.com), but the other two needs additional URL information to differentiate the page type. They also need a name parameter, (like http://www.site.com/project/project-name. There are at least two solutions to this that I'm aware of. Use GWT history mechanism and let page type and parameters (such as project name) be part of the history token. Use servlets with url-mapping patterns (like /project/*) The first choice might seem obvious at first, but it has several drawbacks. First, a user should be able to easily remember and type URL directly to a project. It is hard to produce a human friendly URL with history tokens. Second, I'm using gwt-presenter and this approach would mean that we need to support subplaces in one token, which I'd rather avoid. Third, a user will typically stay at one page, so it makes more sense that the page information is part of the "static" URL. Using servlets solves all these problems, but also creates other ones. So my first questions is, what is the best solution here? If I would go for the servlet solution, new questions pop up. It might make sense to split the GWT app into three separate modules, each with an entry point. Each servlet that is mapped to a certain page would then simply forward the request to the GWT module that handles that page. Since a user typically stays at one page, the browser only needs to load the js for that page. Based on what I've read, this solution is not really recommended. I could also stick with one module, but then GWT needs to find out which page it should display. It could either query the server or parse the URL itself. If I stick with one GWT module, I need to keep the page information stored on server side. Naturally I thought about sessions, but I'm not sure if its a good idea to mix page information with user data. A session usually lives between user login and logout, but in this case it would need different behavior. Would it be bad practise to handle this via sessions? The one GWT module + servlet solution also leads to another problem. If a user goes from a project page to the main page, how will GWT know that this has happened? The app will not be reloaded, so it will be treated as a simple state change. It seems rather ineffecient to have to check page info for every state change. Anyone care to guide me out of the foggy darkness that surrounds me? :-)
