• Ruby on Rails script/console printing more than expected

    - by Lloyd
I have a simple model setup in my Ruby on Rails app. (User {name, username, lat, lon}) and am writing a basic extension to the model. I would like the method to return users within a certain distance. It all works just fine in the page view, but as I am debugging I would like to work through some testing using the script/console. My question: It seems to be printing to the screen the entire result set when I run it from the command line and script/console. My model: class User < ActiveRecord::Base def distance_from(aLat, aLon) Math.sqrt((69.1*(aLat - self.lat))**2 + (49*(aLon - self.lon))**2 ) end def distance_from_user(aUser) distance_from(aUser.lat, aUser.lon) end def users_within(distance) close_users = [] users = User.find(:all) users.each do |u| close_users << u if u.distance_from_user(self) < distance end return close_users end end and from the command line I am running >> u = User.find_by_username("someuser") >> print u.users_within(1) So, I guess I would like to know why it's printing the whole result set, and if there is a way to suppress it so as to only print what I want?

  • Calling jquery function from ascx not working

    - by Metju
Hi Guys, I'm having a problem with the following situation. I have an ascx which contains a submit button for a search criteria and I am trying to call a validation function in a js file I've used throughout the site (this is the first time I'm using it in an ascx). Now I've just tried this: The file is being referenced correctly as I am already seeing posts in Firebug that are done by it. This is the function: jQuery.extend({ Validate: function () { does validation... }); Now at first I was getting "Validate() is not a function" in firebug. Since I did that alert testing, I am getting the first alert, then nothing with no errors. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks

  • URL "fragment identifier" semantics for HTML documents

    - by Pointy
I've been working with a new installation of the "MoinMoin" wiki software. As I was playing with it, typing in mostly random test pages, I created a link with a fragment blah blah see also [[SomeStuff#whatever|some other stuff about whatever]] Then I needed to figure out how to create the anchor for that "whatever" fragment identifier. I don't recall having to do that with MediaWiki, so I had to dig around, but finally I found that MoinMoin has an "Anchor" macro: == Whatever == <<Anchor(whatever)>> Looking at the generated HTML, I was surprised to see an empty tag with an "id" value of "whatever". I expected that it'd be an tag with a "name" attribute of "whatever". I dug around and found the source, and there's a comment that says they changed it from an tag in order to avoid some IE problem with
sections. This confused me — not because of the IE thing, but because it looked to me as if their "fix" had left the whole anchor mechanism completely broken. Much to my surprise, however, further testing indicated that it worked fine. I wrote a test page with 300 tags all with "id" values, and I further shocked myself when Firefox behaved exactly as I would have expected it to had I used tags. It also worked when I changed all the tags to . So by this time, you're either as surprised as I was, or else you're thinking "how can somebody that dumb have so many reputation points?" If you're in the second category, is it really the case that I've been typing in HTML for about 15 years now — a lot of HTML — and it's somehow escaped my notice that browsers use the HTML fragment to find any sort of element with a matching "id"? mind status: blown

  • iPhone/iPad : Check for invalid characters in a textbox made for Integers only

    - by JustinXXVII
I noticed that the iPhone OS is pretty good about picking out Integer values when asked to. Specifically, if you use NSString *stringName = @"6("; int number = [stringName intValue]; the iPhone OS will pick out the 6 and turn the variable number into 6. However, in more complex mistypes, this also makes the int variable 6: NSString *stringName = @"6(5"; int number = [stringName intValue]; The iPhone OS misses the other digit, when what could have possibly been the user trying to enter the number 65, the OS only gets the number 6 out of it. I need a solution to check a string for invalid characters and return NO if there is anything other than an unsigned integer in a textbox. This is for iPad, and currently there is no numeric keyboard like the iPhone has, and I'm instead limited to the standard 123 keyboard. I was thinking that I need to use NSRange and somehow loop through the entire string in the textbox, and checking to see if the current character in the iteration is a number. I'm lost as far as that goes. I can think of testing it against zero, but zero is a valid integer. Can anyone help?

  • Error trying to use rand from std library cstdlib with g++

    - by Matt
I was trying to use the random function in Ubuntu compiling with g++ on a larger program and for some reason rand just gave weird compile errors. For testing purposes I made the simplest program I could and it still gives errors. Program: #include <iostream> using std::cout; using std::endl; #include <cstdlib> int main() { cout << "Random number " << rand(); return 0; } Error when compiling with the terminal sudo g++ chapter_3/tester.cpp ./test ./test: In function _start': /build/buildd/eglibc-2.10.1/csu/../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:65: multiple definition of_start' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o:/build/buildd/eglibc-2.10.1/csu/../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:65: first defined here ./test:(.rodata+0x0): multiple definition of _fp_hw' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o:(.rodata+0x0): first defined here ./test: In function_fini': (.fini+0x0): multiple definition of _fini' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crti.o:(.fini+0x0): first defined here ./test:(.rodata+0x4): multiple definition of_IO_stdin_used' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o:(.rodata.cst4+0x0): first defined here ./test: In function __data_start': (.data+0x0): multiple definition ofdata_start' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o:(.data+0x0): first defined here ./test: In function __data_start': (.data+0x4): multiple definition of__dso_handle' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/crtbegin.o:(.data+0x0): first defined here ./test: In function main': (.text+0xb4): multiple definition ofmain' /tmp/cceF0x0p.o:tester.cpp:(.text+0x0): first defined here ./test: In function _init': (.init+0x0): multiple definition ofinit' /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/../../../../lib/crti.o:(.init+0x0): first defined here /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.1/crtend.o:(.dtors+0x0): multiple definition of `_DTOR_END' ./test:(.dtors+0x4): first defined here /usr/bin/ld: error in ./test(.eh_frame); no .eh_frame_hdr table will be created. collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

  • VB.net httpwebrequest For loop hangs every 10 or so iterations

    - by user574632
Hello, I am trying to loop through an array and perform an httpwebrequest in each iteration. The code seems to work, however it pauses for a while (eg alot longer than the set timeout. Tried setting that to 100 to check and it still pauses) after every 10 or so iterations, then carries on working. Here is what i have so far: For i As Integer = 0 To numberOfProxies - 1 Try 'create request to a proxyJudge php page using proxy Dim request As HttpWebRequest = HttpWebRequest.Create("http://www.pr0.net/deny/azenv.php") request.Proxy = New Net.WebProxy(proxies(i)) 'select the current proxie from the proxies array request.Timeout = 10000 'set timeout Dim response As HttpWebResponse = request.GetResponse() Dim sr As StreamReader = New StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream()) Dim pageSourceCode As String = sr.ReadToEnd() 'check the downloaded source for certain phrases, each identifies a type of proxy 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR identifies a transparent proxy If pageSourceCode.Contains("HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR") Then 'delegate method for cross thread safe UpdateListbox(ListBox3, proxies(i)) ElseIf pageSourceCode.Contains("HTTP_VIA") Then UpdateListbox(ListBox2, proxies(i)) Else UpdateListbox(ListBox1, proxies(i)) End If Catch ex As Exception 'MessageBox.Show(ex.ToString) used in testing UpdateListbox(ListBox4, proxies(i)) End Try completedProxyCheck += 1 lblTotalProxiesChecked.CustomInvoke(Sub(l) l.Text = completedProxyCheck) Next I have searched all over this site and via google, and most responses to this type of question say the response must be closed. I have tried a using block, eg: Using response As HttpWebResponse = request.GetResponse() Using sr As StreamReader = New StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream()) Dim pageSourceCode As String = sr.ReadToEnd() 'check the downloaded source for certain phrases, each identifies a type of proxy 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR identifies a transparent proxy If pageSourceCode.Contains("HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR") Then 'delegate method for cross thread safe UpdateListbox(ListBox3, proxies(i)) ElseIf pageSourceCode.Contains("HTTP_VIA") Then UpdateListbox(ListBox2, proxies(i)) Else UpdateListbox(ListBox1, proxies(i)) End If End Using End Using And it makes no difference (though i may have implemented it wrong) As you can tell im very new to VB or any OOP so its probably a simple problem but i cant work it out. Any suggestions or just tips on how to diagnose these types of problems would be really appreciated.

  • regex php: find everything in div

    - by Fifth-Edition
I'm trying to find eveything inside a div using regexp. I'm aware that there probably is a smarter way to do this - but I've chosen regexp. so currently my regexp pattern looks like this: $gallery_pattern = '/([\s\S]*)<\/div/'; And it does the trick - somewhat. the problem is if i have two divs after each other - like this.
text to extract here

text to extract from here as well
I want to extract the information from both divs, but my problem, when testing, is that im not getting the text in between as a result but instead: "text to extract here text to extract from here as well" So . to sum up. It skips the first end of the div. and continues on to the next. The text inside the div can contain "<", "/" and linebreaks. just so you know! Does anyone have a simple solution to this problem? Im still a regexp novice.

  • Javascript error: Object required...tough time fixing this

    - by rtnav2301
The situation is this: a friend of mine asked me to help her with a website she's working on called www.KeepsakePartyInvitations.com. Her original designer created this code but didn't finish the project. So here I am to help save the day. Now, once a photo has been added to the party template and the mouse is placed over the image, an alternate text message appears to the right. The message informs the visitor how to reposition and resize the image, if necessary. I'm testing the procedure in the invitation to reposition the image. I follow the directions about moving the picture, but the mouse does not let go of the photo. Where ever the mouse moves, so does the image. The same thing occurs if you want to resize the image, you follow the directions but the image does not resize. I check the error message in IE 8 and it states: Message: Object required Line: 873 Char: 3 Code: 0 URI: http://www.keepsakepartyinvitations.com/Includes/JCode.js When I checked the Javascript file, the Line 873 states: tempX = e.clientX + document.body.scrollLeft If you review the javascript file, the function where the line is located is called: function getMouseXY(e). Please help me, it has been a long while since I've worked with Javascript and I'm motivated to get this fixed. Thank you!

  • convincing C# compiler that execution will stop after a member returns

    - by Sarah Vessels
I don't think this is currently possible or if it's even a good idea, but it's something I was thinking about just now. I use MSTest for unit testing my C# project. In one of my tests, I do the following: MyClass instance; try { instance = getValue(); } catch (MyException ex) { Assert.Fail("Caught MyException"); } instance.doStuff(); // Use of unassigned local variable 'instance' To make this code compile, I have to assign a value to instance either at its declaration or in the catch block. However, Assert.Fail will never, to the best of my knowledge, allow execution to proceed past it, hence instance will never be used without a value. Why is it then that I must assign a value to it? If I change the Assert.Fail to something like throw ex, the code compiles fine, I assume because it knows that exception will disallow execution to proceed to a point where instance would be used uninitialized. So is it a case of runtime versus compile-time knowledge about where execution will be allowed to proceed? Would it ever be reasonable for C# to have some way of saying that a member, in this case Assert.Fail, will never allow execution after it returns? Maybe that could be in the form of a method attribute. Would this be useful or an unnecessary complexity for the compiler?

  • What's your most controversial programming opinion?

    - by Jon Skeet
This is definitely subjective, but I'd like to try to avoid it becoming argumentative. I think it could be an interesting question if people treat it appropriately. The idea for this question came from the comment thread from my answer to the "What are five things you hate about your favorite language?" question. I contended that classes in C# should be sealed by default - I won't put my reasoning in the question, but I might write a fuller explanation as an answer to this question. I was surprised at the heat of the discussion in the comments (25 comments currently). So, what contentious opinions do you hold? I'd rather avoid the kind of thing which ends up being pretty religious with relatively little basis (e.g. brace placing) but examples might include things like "unit testing isn't actually terribly helpful" or "public fields are okay really". The important thing (to me, anyway) is that you've got reasons behind your opinions. Please present your opinion and reasoning - I would encourage people to vote for opinions which are well-argued and interesting, whether or not you happen to agree with them.

  • Android Accessing Accelerometer: Returns always 0 as Value

    - by Rotesmofa
    Hello there, i would like to use the accelerometer in an Android Handset for my Application. The data from the sensor will be saved together with a GPS Point, so the Value is only needed when the GPS Point is updated. If i use the attached Code the values is always zero. API Level 8 Permissions: Internet, Fine Location Testing Device: Galaxy S(i9000), Nexus One Any Suggestions? I am stuck at this point. Best regards from Germany, Pascal import android.app.Activity; import android.hardware.Sensor; import android.hardware.SensorEvent; import android.hardware.SensorEventListener; import android.hardware.SensorManager; import android.os.Bundle; public class AccelerometerService extends Activity{ AccelerometerData accelerometerData; private SensorManager mSensorManager; private float x,y,z; private class AccelerometerData implements SensorEventListener{ public void onSensorChanged(SensorEvent event) { x = event.values[0]; y = event.values[1]; z = event.values[2]; } public void onAccuracyChanged(Sensor sensor, int accuracy) {} } @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); mSensorManager = (SensorManager) getSystemService(SENSOR_SERVICE); mSensorManager.registerListener(accelerometerData, mSensorManager.getDefaultSensor(Sensor.TYPE_ACCELEROMETER), SensorManager.SENSOR_DELAY_FASTEST); } @Override protected void onResume() { super.onResume(); } @Override protected void onStop() { mSensorManager.unregisterListener(accelerometerData); super.onStop(); } public String getSensorString() { return ("X: " + x+"m/s, Y: "+ y +"m/s, Z: "+ z +"m/s" ); } }

  • Cold Fusion blank page in IE7 on refresh?

    - by richardtallent
I'm new to Cold Fusion, have a very basic problem that's really slowing me down. I'm making edits in a text editor and refreshing the page in web browsers for testing. Standard web dev stuff, no browser-sniffing, redirection, or other weirdness, and no proxies involved. When I refresh the page in Chrome or Firefox, everything works fine, but when I refresh in IE7, I get a blank page. View Source shows me:

That's it. While I am rendering to the transitional DTD, the real head contains a title, etc. My development server is CF 9, production is 8. This problem has been happening in both. Seems it may only be happening on pages that are the the result of a POST action. I've never experienced this in ASP.NET (my usual development environment) using the same browsers.

  • Email as a view.

    - by Hal
I've been in some discussion recently about where email (notifications, etc...) should be sent in an ASP.NET MVC application. My nemesis grin argues that it only makes sense that the email should be sent from the controller. I argue that an email is simply an alternate or augmented view through a different channel. Much like I would download a file as the payload of an ActionResult, the email is simply delivered through a different protocol. I've worked an extension method that allows me to do the following: <% Html.RenderEmail(model.FromAddress, model.ToAddress, model.Subject); %> which I actually include within my the view that is displayed on the screen. The beauty is that, based on convention, if I call RenderEmail from a parent view named MyView.ascx, I attempt to render the contents of a view named MyViewEmail.ascx, unless it is not found, in which case I simply email a copy of parent view. It certainly does make it testable (I still have an ISMTPService injected for testing), I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on whether or not this breaks from good practice. In use it has been extremely handy when we needed to easily send an email or modify the contents of the emailed results vs the browser rendered results. Thanks, Hal

  • Setting White balance and Exposure mode for iphone camera + enum default

    - by Spectravideo328
I am using the back camera of an iphone4 and doing the standard and lengthy process of creating an AVCaptureSession and adding to it an AVCaptureDevice. Before attaching the AvCaptureDeviceInput of that camera to the session, I am testing my understanding of white balance and exposure, so I am trying this: [self.theCaptureDevice lockForConfiguration:nil]; [self.theCaptureDevice setWhiteBalanceMode:AVCaptureWhiteBalanceModeLocked]; [self.theCaptureDevice setExposureMode:AVCaptureExposureModeContinuousAutoExposure]; [self.theCaptureDevice unlockForConfiguration]; 1- Given that the various options for white balance mode are in an enum, I would have thought that the default is always zero since the enum Typedef variable was never assigned a value. I am finding out, if I breakpoint and po the values in the debugger, that the default white balance mode is actually set to 2. Unfortunately, the header files of AVCaptureDevice does not say what the default are for the different camera setting. 2- This might sound silly, but can I assume that once I stop the app, that all settings for whitebalance, exposure mode, will go back to their default. So that if I start another app right after, the camera device is not somehow stuck on those "hardware settings".

  • Can the Singleton be replaced by Factory?

    - by lostiniceland
Hello Everyone There are already quite some posts about the Singleton-Pattern around, but I would like to start another one on this topic since I would like to know if the Factory-Pattern would be the right approach to remove this "anti-pattern". In the past I used the singleton quite a lot, also did my fellow collegues since it is so easy to use. For example, the Eclipse IDE or better its workbench-model makes heavy usage of singletons as well. It was due to some posts about E4 (the next big Eclipse version) that made me start to rethink the singleton. The bottom line was that due to this singletons the dependecies in Eclipse 3.x are tightly coupled. Lets assume I want to get rid of all singletons completely and instead use factories. My thoughts were as follows: hide complexity less coupling I have control over how many instances are created (just store the reference I a private field of the factory) mock the factory for testing (with Dependency Injection) when it is behind an interface In some cases the factories can make more than one singleton obsolete (depending on business logic/component composition) Does this make sense? If not, please give good reasons for why you think so. An alternative solution is also appreciated. Thanks Marc

  • Is there a more efficient AS3 way to compare 2 arrays for adds, removes & updates?

    - by WillyCornbread
    Hi all - I'm wondering if there is a better way to approach this than my current solution... I have a list of items, I then retrieve another list of items. I need to compare the two lists and come up with a list of items that are existing (for update), a list that are not existing in the new list (for removal) and a list of items that are not existing in the old list (for adding). Here is what I'm doing now - basically creating a lookup object for testing if an item exists. Thanks for any tips. for each (itm in _oldItems) { _oldLookup[itm.itemNumber] = itm; } // Loop through items and check if they already exist in the 'old' list for each (itm in _items) { // If an item exists in the old list - push it for update if (_oldLookup[itm.itemNumber]) { _itemsToUpdate.push(itm); } else // otherwise push it into the items to add { _itemsToAdd.push(itm); } // remove it from the lookup list - this will leave only // items for removal remaining in the lookup delete _oldLookup[itm.itemNumber]; } // The items remaining in the lookup object have neither been added or updated - // so they must be for removal - add to list for removal for each (itm in _oldLookup) { _itemsToRemove.push(itm); }

  • Jquery dynamic button : how to bind to exisitng click event by class

    - by omer bach
I have a click event triggered by the class selector inside the jquery ready scope: $(".testBtn").click(function() { alert("This Works"); }); This works fine for static buttons how ever this doesn't work for dynamic buttons which are added upon clicking the button with "addRowBtn" id. I'm guessing that it has something to do with that the button is created after the event is registered but still the new button has the 'testBtn' class so it makes sense it should work. Any idea what am i doing wrong and how to make the dynamic buttons registered to the class selector click event? Here is the whole code, you can copy and paste into an html, click the 'add button' and try to click the added buttons. you'll see nothing happens.

Add button

Testing

Working

  • IHttpModule not being applied to virtual directory

    - by arthurdent510
I have a network folder that is mapped to my iis app as a virtual directory and I'm trying to do some authentication for files that are located there with an ihttpmodule. I've verified that the ihttpmodule is firing properly for anything else in my app, just not the files located in virtual directory. Most of what I've found is that the directory can't be listed as an application (which it isn't), and everything should work. The other solution that I found was to add the the module tag to the tag, but that didn't seem to help either. Everything that I've found talks about stopping this from happening. So my question is what could be set that is causing this to not work? Is there a certain execute permission that needs to be set? Any other iis settings that could cause this? It is an mvc app, and this is how my directory structure is laid out: server/app <- my application folder server/app/content/downloads <- downloads is the virtual directory Do I have to add the virtual directory directly under my app directory? Is that part of the problem? I don't have direct control of the server my code is running on, so testing things out is a bit of a pain... so I was looking for some more thoughts before starting to send emails off to my operations people. Thanks!

  • Anonymous union definition/declaration in a macro GNU vs VS2008

    - by Alan_m
I am attempting to alter an IAR specific header file for a lpc2138 so it can compile with Visual Studio 2008 (to enable compatible unit testing). My problem involves converting register definitions to be hardware independent (not at a memory address) The "IAR-safe macro" is: #define __IO_REG32_BIT(NAME, ADDRESS, ATTRIBUTE, BIT_STRUCT) \ volatile __no_init ATTRIBUTE union \ { \ unsigned long NAME; \ BIT_STRUCT NAME ## _bit; \ } @ ADDRESS //declaration //(where __gpio0_bits is a structure that names //each of the 32 bits as P0_0, P0_1, etc) __IO_REG32_BIT(IO0PIN,0xE0028000,__READ_WRITE,__gpio0_bits); //usage IO0PIN = 0x0xAA55AA55; IO0PIN_bit.P0_5 = 0; This is my comparable "hardware independent" code: #define __IO_REG32_BIT(NAME, BIT_STRUCT)\ volatile union \ { \ unsigned long NAME; \ BIT_STRUCT NAME##_bit; \ } NAME; //declaration __IO_REG32_BIT(IO0PIN,__gpio0_bits); //usage IO0PIN.IO0PIN = 0xAA55AA55; IO0PIN.IO0PIN_bit.P0_5 = 1; This compiles and works but quite obviously my "hardware independent" usage does not match the "IAR-safe" usage. How do I alter my macro so I can use IO0PIN the same way I do in IAR? I feel this is a simple anonymous union matter but multiple attempts and variants have proven unsuccessful. Maybe the IAR GNU compiler supports anonymous unions and vs2008 does not. Thank you.

  • Fast, very lightweight algorithm for camera motion detection?

    - by Ertebolle
I'm working on an augmented reality app for iPhone that involves a very processor-intensive object recognition algorithm (pushing the CPU at 100% it can get through maybe 5 frames per second), and in an effort to both save battery power and make the whole thing less "jittery" I'm trying to come up with a way to only run that object recognizer when the user is actually moving the camera around. My first thought was to simply use the iPhone's accelerometers / gyroscope, but in testing I found that very often people would move the iPhone at a consistent enough attitude and velocity that there wouldn't be any way to tell that it was still in motion. So that left the option of analyzing the actual video feed and detecting movement in that. I got OpenCV working and tried running their pyramidal Lucas-Kanade optical flow algorithm, which works well but seems to be almost as processor-intensive as my object recognizer - I can get it to an acceptable framerate if I lower the depth levels / downsample the image / track fewer points, but then accuracy suffers and it starts to miss some large movements and trigger on small hand-shaking-y ones. So my question is, is there another optical flow algorithm that's faster than Lucas-Kanade if I just want to detect the overall magnitude of camera movement? I don't need to track individual objects, I don't even need to know which direction the camera is moving, all I really need is a way to feed something two frames of video and have it tell me how far apart they are.

I have got a form that posts values to a page in a wizard. When i'm loading this form in a Iframe everything is working fine in Firefox, it will get me to the second step of the wizard and maintains the values i filled in. When im testing this in Internet Explorer i am not getting to the second step, instead of that it returns me to the first step of the wizard with all fields being blank. When i check this in Fiddler i see that im getting a different response when i'm posting the form in the Iframe from Firefox compared to Internet Explorer. How can i make this work for all browsers? What am I doing wrong? This is what i get back from Fiddler: Firefox Post: Ressult Protocol Host URL Body Caching Content-Type Process Comments Custom 1 302 HTTP www.dmg.eu /brugman/budgetplanner/aanmelden.php 0 no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT text/html; charset=UTF-8 firefox:6116 Get: # Result Protocol Host URL Body Caching Content-Type Process Comments Custom 2 200 HTTP www.dmg.eu /brugman/budgetplanner/ 40.677 no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT text/html; charset=UTF-8 firefox:6116 Internet Explorer Post: Result Protocol Host URL Body Caching Content-Type Process Comments Custom 73 302 HTTP www.dmg.eu /brugman/budgetplanner/aanmelden.php 0 no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT text/html; charset=UTF-8 iexplore:536 Get: Result Protocol Host URL Body Caching Content-Type Process Comments Custom 74 302 HTTP www.dmg.eu /brugman/budgetplanner/ 0 no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT text/html; charset=UTF-8 iexplore:536 Hope someone knows what the diff is :).

  • Team Build Reports as "Failed" Even Though All Targets Succeeded

    - by benjy
Hi, I've written a custom MSBuild script to be used with Team Build, as I am storing PHP in TFS and of course it isn't compiled. My custom script calls the CoreGet target to get the latest version of the files, and the copies them, ZIPs, them, and FTPs the ZIP archive to a testing server. All of that is working fine. The problem I am having is that despite the build succeeding - see the output in BuildLog.txt - Done executing task "BuildStep". Done building target "FTP" in project "TFSBuild.proj". Done executing task "CallTarget". Done building target "EndToEndIteration" in project "TFSBuild.proj". Done Building Project "C:\Documents and Settings\tfsservice\Local Settings\Temp\Code\PHP\BuildType\TFSBuild.proj" (EndToEndIteration target(s)). Build succeeded. 0 Warning(s) 0 Error(s) the build still reports as having failed. The log from Visual Studio looks like so: Anyone know how I can make it report as having succeeded? Thanks very much in advance, Benjy P.S.: Please let me know if anyone would find having the whole build script helpful. Thanks!

  • Android 1.5/1.6 issue with style and autogenerated R.java file

    - by Gaks
I'm having strange issue with R.java file and styles defined in my resources. Here's some code: In res/values/strings.xml: In AndroidManifest.xml: <activity android:name=".RegisterScreen" android:icon="@drawable/ico" android:label="@string/applicationName" android:theme="@style/PopupWindowStyle" android:configChanges="locale|touchscreen|keyboard|keyboardHidden|navigation|orientation|fontScale"> </activity> In autogenerated gen/.../R.java: public static final class style { public static final int PopupWindowStyle=0x7f090000; } After some changes in the project, eclipse changed autogenerated value for PopupWindowStyle from 0x7f080000 to 0x7f090000. After that, on Android 1.5, RegisterScreen activity is displayed without PopupWindowStyle style - there is an error displayed in logcat: Skipping entry 0x7f090000 in package table 0 because it is not complex! On Android 1.6 however everything works fine - PopupWindowStyle works like it was before it's integer value has changed. I was testing this issue, by reverting the source code to older revisions. I can confirm, that this problem started occurring after src code commit, which changed two files completely unrelated to this part of code - and an autogenerated R.java file. Any idea what could cause that?

  • Using Javascript to submit forms.

    - by Razor Storm
I am using a jQuery function to submit a form when a certain button is pressed, however this seems to have no effect on the form. My code is as follows: HTML: Javascript: function submitlogin() { $("form").submit(); } However, when I press the button, absolutely nothing occurs. PS. This function may seem meaningless since I can just use a input type="submit" but I originally intended this to have some more functionality, I stripped the function to its bare bones for testing purposes.
