  I have written an O/R database wrapper that generates some wrapper methods for stored procs it reads from the database. Now I need to produce some custom wrapper code if an input parameter of a stored proc is defaulted to NULL. The problem is - I get stored proc parameters using: SqlCommandBuilder.DeriveParameters(command) and it doesn't bring parameter defaults. Is there any way to look up those defaults? Are they stored anywhere in the database? BTW, I'm using SQL Server 2008

I need the text in each node to word wrap if it's too big (as happens often). I have tried label.wordWrap = true; in my item renderer without any luck. Any other suggestions?

  I'm putting together a custom SynchronizedCollection<T> class so that I can have a synchronized Observable collection for my WPF application. The synchronization is provided via a ReaderWriterLockSlim, which, for the most part, has been easy to apply. The case I'm having trouble with is how to provide thread-safe enumeration of the collection. Is my only option to document the class with a caveat implementer reminding the consumer to call Dispose if using the Enumerator explicitly or is there a way to safely release the lock during finalization? I'm thinking not, since the finalizer doesn't even run on the same thread, but I was curious if there other ways to improve this.

  Normally I just redirect to a custom error page in on the Application_Error event, but I have a specific error for which I'd like to display an alert message while the user is still on the page which triggers the error. How can I make this happen? I'm open to a modalpopup or any other type of error message, I just want to ensure the user stays on the page where they encounter the error. Thank for any ideas.

I went through some headache also when we were trying to figure out how to make it work with lighttpd. this is the line that helps make it work in lighttpd. url.rewrite-once = ( ".*\?(.*)$" => "/index.php?$1", "^/js/.*$" => "$0", "^.*\.(js|ico|gif|jpg|png|css|swf |jar|class)$" => "$0", "" => "/index.php" ) but I couldn't figure out how to make it works in NginX. The webserver run just fine when we use the phpinfo.php test file. However as soon as I point it to my apps, nothing comes up. Check the error.log file and there's no error. Very mind boggling. I spent over 1 week trying to figure it out with no luck.. Please help?

  I am using FogBugz free hosting to manage my project bugs, I also have several customers I create custom software for, been using FogBugz to keep everything organized. Question I have is, there are times where they send me an email with a bug, so I report it in my system and they create it as well, instead of having 2 cases of same bug, would like to merge or link them together, rather not just delete the duplicate. Is there a way to link them together, maybe like a cross reference or even merge them together?

  Hi guys, I need to build a ruby daemon that will use the freeswitcher eventmachine library for freeswitch. Since few days I as looking the web for the best solution to build a ruby daemon that will integrate my rails environment, specailly my active record models. I've take a look to the excellent Ryan Bates screencast (episodes 129 custom daemon) but I'm not sure that is still an actual solution. Does anyone known a good way to do that ?   I'm building a custom RTE that converts user input to a homebrewn markup, now idiot that I am I did this using an iframe with designMode = "On" and got it to work in firefox using styleWithCSS = false so that I could easily convert the <b> (yes... b :( ) into my markup which would then output the proper code instead of me having to read from <span style="... now my problem is, I cant seem to find something that looks or acts like styleWithCSS = false for IE, Chrome or Opera, any suggestions are welcome.

• WP Oembed not passing through the “autoplay=1” variable

  Hi guys, I'm having a problem here.. I am passing this through a custom field: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6P1Q-UycHA&autoplay=1 (notice the "autoplay=1") But when I load the video on my theme using wp_oembed_get... it displays the video fine, but it does not listen to the "autoplay=1" variable I am passing through. It does however contain the object in memory, seeing that NSLog proves that. Everything is linked up and working within the TapViewController nib file.   Hi All, i'm developing a WCF Webservice and consuming it within a mvc2 application. My problem is that i'm using FaultContracts on my methods with a custom FaultDetail and i'm throwing manyally the faultexception but when the client receive the exception , it receives a normal SoapException instead of my FaultException that i throwed from the service side. Here is some code: Custom Fault Detail Class: [DataContract] public class MyFaultDetails { [DataMember] public string Message { get; set; } } Operation on service contract: [OperationContract] [FaultContract(typeof(MyFaultDetails))] void ThrowException(); Implementation: public void ThrowException() { var details = new MyFaultDetails { Message = "Exception Test" }; throw new FaultException<MyFaultDetails >(details , new FaultReason(details .Message), new FaultCode("MyFault")); } Client side: try { // Obv proxy init etc.. service.ThrowException(); } catch (FaultException<MyFaultDetails> ex) { // stuff } catch (Exception ex) { // stuff } What i expect is to catch the FaultException , instead that catch is skipped and the next catch is taken with an exception of type SoapException. Am i missing something ? i red a lot of threads about using faultcontracts within wcf and what i did seems to be good.
