  • script to find "deny" ACE in ACLs, and remove it

    On my 100TB cluster, I need to find dirs and files that have a "deny" ACE within their ACL, then remove that ACE on each instance. I could increase the -B value (I've seen up to 8 ACEs on a file) but then I would get more output to distill from... What I need to do next is extract $ACENUMBER and $PATHTOFILE so that I can execute this command: chmod -a# $ACENUMBER $PATHTOFILE Additional issue is that the find command (above) gives a relative path, whereas I need the full path. I guess that would need to be edited somehow. Any guidance on how to accomplish this?

    I am working on windows. I am running PHP (5.1.3) scripts on Tomcat using PHP/Java bridge. But the php file is not able to locate the test class and I get the following error - Fatal error: Uncaught [[o:Exception]:"java.lang.Exception: CreateInstance failed: new Test. If I use a standard class like below. (What is this location?) 2) Do some changes in the php.ini file

  • z-index has no effect in IE7 with Google Map and Navigation Sub-Menus

    I feel like the problem is extremely apparent. I'm working on an issue with a client's site, which actually happens on several of my clients' sites but this one is the most apparent. IE7 Is refusing to obey z-index rules. I've played around with differing values, particularly on the divs #mapWrapper and #map. Take a look here: http://thepaysongroup.com/wp-content/plugins/hq_idx/searchlistings.php I've done dozens of web searches and I can't find anything that resolves this issue. I also ready through Aleksandar Vacic's article on IE6/7 z-index discrepancies, but still nothing. Any assistance would be much appreciated, I'm tearing my hair out on this one.

  • Creating a dynamic (video) Overlay on Google Maps on Android 2.1

    I'm trying to create a map overlay for displaying a video stream (MJPEG) on top of a Mapview. Currently I've a standalone activity that creates a data thread for fetching MJPEG video frames. I'm using a handler to send a frame (as a Bitmap) from the data thread to the main activity which then updates the UI. I'm not sure how I can implement "refresh" for updating my "overlayed" video stream. EDIT: What I mean by "refresh" is - how can I update the video portion (not the mapview) of my UI whenever I get a new video frame. I plan to paint the video frame (bitmap) in the "draw method" of my implementation of the Overlay subclass. But the "draw" method is not invoked by me directly. Thanks.

  • DDD: Client-side script to enforce invariants

    Hello, One thing that I'm confused about in regards to DDD is that our domain is supposed to handle all business logic and enforce invariants. I have noticed some people (me included) handle certain invariants in the presentation layer (i.e. WebForms, Views, etc) with javascript. This is mainly done to improve performance so the server is not hit for every request which may be invalid. Even though this approach may be beneficial performance-wise, it violates DDD principles. What if the business rules are changed? This way we don't have a rich domain where all the business rules are captured. In case of a change, we should change the domain as well as the presentation layer. Has anyone come across this situation before? I'd like to know your thoughts on this. Cheers, Mosh

    for development of interactive 3d web applications, which engine is recommended? I am aware that WebGL has been anounced to become standarized for all browsers in the near future (1~2 years). I am afraid that by investing time into a proprietary game engine such as Unity, torque would be not great once plugin-less open source 3d engines appear (webgl & 3D javascript). Is this a stupid thing to worry about ? Should I begin with Unity3D (it's demo's and tools were mind blowing).

    Hello, I know that I could separate all statements by pre-cutting before their execution, but I have a case in which I would like to insert a series of statements in one execution, currently I receive the following error: Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Syntax Error: Encountered ";" at line 2, column 33. at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory.getSQLException(Unknown Source) at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory40.wrapArgsForTransportAcrossDRDA(Unknown Source) ... 17 more Caused by: ERROR 42X01: Syntax Error: Encountered ";" at line 2, column 33. Also do you know also if Derby supports conditional statements like that in pgsql case when else? Thanks

    Hi All, I am working on a rake utility and want to implement something mentioned below: There are some shell commands in a sequence in my Rake file. What I want is that the sequence should wait for the previous command to finish processing before it moves to the next one. sh "git commit -m \"#{args.commit_message}\"" do |ok, res| # Do some processing end sh "git push heroku master" So, in the above example what I want is that sh "git push heroku master" shouldn't be executed until the processing in the sh "git commit -m \"#{args.commit_message}\"" do |ok, res| # Do some processing end is completed. Also another nice to have would be that if I can store the output of the shell command in a Ruby variable so it can be used in further manipulation if required.     I've been tinkering with a regex answer by yukondude with little success. I'm trying to kill processes that are older than 10 minutes. I already know what the process IDs are. I'm looping over an array every 10 min to see if any lingering procs are around and need to be killed. Anybody have any quick thoughts on this?   • Java Google App Engine inconsistent data lose after restarting dev server

    Hello everyone, I am using Java GAE. So far, i'm just scafolding my data objects and i'm seeing an interesting issue. The records that i am playing around with are getting updated properly as long as my dev server is running up. The second that the my dev server gets restarted, i lose all of my changes. That would be not alarming if i lost all of my records, but, there was a point of time where my data persisted through the server restart. I'm worried that i would lose production data if i launched without fixing this potential bugs? ANy idea on wher ei should look?

The problem i have is, that some data is stored in cookies, and the cookies are send to images, when they are shown. Is there any way to disable this globally (cookie-free requests) in web.config, or even in the HttpHandler itself?   • Get script of SQL Server data

    I'm looking for a way to do something analogous to the MySql dump from SQL Server. I need to be able to pick the tables and export the schema and the data (or I can export the schema via SQL Server Management Studio and export the data separately somehow). I need this data to be able to turn around and go back into SQL Server so it needs to maintain GUIDs/uniqueidentifiers and other column types. Does anyone know of a good tool for this?

  • Issue using GAE appcfg.py

    I get nothing out of appcfg.py besides the default output. I'm trying to upload some data to my development project with no luck at at all. From the instructions on the Google App Engine page the steps are as follows: Edit app.yaml update with appcfg.py make upload script upload with appcfg.py After step one I try to run the update and it never shows any success. The following commands product the same output: appcfg.py appcfg.py update appDir appcfg.py update appDir/ appcfg.py update /appDir If i try to follow the instructions from the appcfg.py output and type help upload and get: "help <action>" I get a response from the system, This command is not supported by the help utility. Try "update /?". cause I'm calling the system help command. If I use the command appcfg.py help upload I get the same result as just typing appcfg.py Can someone show me examples of the syntax to update the dev site, upload data to it and get appcfg.py to actually give help on its commands? Also I'm just assuming that the upload script and the .csv file that are being uploaded are in they myApp directory. Appreciate any help,
