  • Can I call sitemesh struts tags from a decorator in freemarker?

    I know if you are using JSPs, you can call struts tags defined the normal way from a decorator, like this: <html> <body> <decorator:body /> </body> </html> but in the examples I always see using freemarker decorators, they will instead say: <html> <body> ${body} </body> </html> Is this the only way to include the pieces of the page from the decorator, or is it possible to use the same taglibs? To test it, I put sitemesh-decorator.tld into WEB-INF/lib and tried just using <@decorator.body /> but no joy there. I think I'm missing something here, but I'm not sure what it is.

The issue is that google gives a different open id for the return url specified and we have at least 2 different entry points in our application from where open id is configured into our system.   • What is causing my HTTP server to fail with "exit status -1073741819"?

    As an exercise I created a small HTTP server that generates random game mechanics, similar to this one. I wrote it on a Windows 7 (32-bit) system and it works flawlessly. However, when I run it on my home machine, Windows 7 (64-bit), it always fails with the same message: exit status -1073741819. I haven't managed to find anything on the web which references that status code, so I don't know how important it is.     Hi all.. I wrote this program, that is supposed to read about 5000 email address and send an pre-defined html mail. I am using the background worker component. The problem is this: I have wired up the method who is supposed to send the mail. But I am calling another method that is supposed to append the body html to the salutation, like public string GiveMeFullHtml(string personname) ... "Dear Mr. John Doe" + HTML ... It seems that when it hits this method call, operation completes. IUt only sends the first mail and completes. I think because the HTML string method is on another thread or sth like that. Can you give me a little insight. Do I have to get everything done in the very same method when using multi-threading? Thanks in advance

  • SIFR Newbie: font display problem in non-flash browsers

    Hi, I'm wondering if someone can help me with this as I'm fairly new to siFR and think there is something essential i'm not comprehending in the documentation. I'm having success using siFR 3 (r436) to render fonts and it's working just how I want. However if I turn flash off in any browser the original (no longer rendered) html text displays very badly indeed. I thought that in any non-flash browser my inital stylesheet would be referred to and not siFR.css and I would be able to adjust the html text as a seperate entity. I think i probably developed this bad idea because I remember in earlier siFR versions you had to mess around alot with stylings on the original stylesheet + the sifr-config so you would get corresponding line heights/widths etc between the html and rendered font. (i realise that siFR 3 renders the flash in a different way) So it seems that siFR.css controls both the non-flash text and the rendered font. Anyway my essential noob questions is: how do i get the the original html text to have the same dimensions as the rendered font? thanks for you help

    Hi there, I know it's possible to open links in an html page (let's say, if you're using Firefox) with TextMate if the link has this format: <a href="txmt://open?url=file:///home/.../index.html.haml">View</a> But is it possible to do a similar thing with VIM?   • User Control not loading based on location

    I have an ASP.net MVC solution that uses nested master pages to load content. On the first Master page I load a header, then have the Content Placeholder, and then load a footer. This master page is referenced by another master page which adds some additional information based on the user being logged in or not. When I load a page that references these master pages, the header loads, but the footer does not. If I move the footer up above the Content Place Holder it loads into the page. Any ideas why this might be the case?     I have a textbox in my View. I input a number into the textbox, and then i want the controller to multiply the number and put the result into the textbox. How can I do that? This is what i have done already. I've tried using ViewData as you can see. I've also used TempData. This is another code for the textbox in the View I've tried: <%=Html.TextBox("number", ViewData["number"])%> But it doesn't matter. The textbox doesn't get updated with the new value. How can I do that?

    I am trying to call the RenderAction Extension Method within my own Html Helper: System.Web.Mvc.Html.ChildActionExtensions.RenderAction(helper, "account", "login"); this is so that along with some additional logic, I would like all html helpers to use a common method name structure when calling it on the view: <%= Html.CompanyName().RenderAccount() %> but the problem I am having is that, asp.net will complain about not finding the actual route it needs to process. It does not take in the parameters of "controller" to be used as the action and "login" to be used as the action. It seems to only reference the current route. Any ideas how I can package up the RenderAction?

    Hello. I have developed a system in PHP which processes #hashtags like on Twitter. Now I'm trying to build a system that will suggest tags as I type. When a user starts writing a tag, a drop-down list should appear beneath the textarea with other tags that begin with the same string. Right now, I have it working where if a user types the hash key (#) the list will show up with the most popular #hashtags. When a tag is clicked, it is inserted at the end of the text in the textarea. I need the tag to be inserted at the cursor location instead. Here's my code; it operates on a textarea with class "facebook_status_text" and a div with class "fbssts_floating_suggestions" that contains an unordered list of links.     Hi This is the third time I am asking this question. I am only looking for the syntax of how to solve this problem. I am using prestashop as the cart for my website. I have a problem; the website used to be in dynamic urls. I enabled friendly url writing. The problem is that one page has more than one url. You can access a same page from the dynamic url and static url. In fact a single page has 9 different urls. This obviously creates problems for seo as search engines penalize my website for this.
