    Is any way to handle a moment when HTML page is rendered on C# WebBrowser control? Edit. WebBrowser control has many events such as Navigated, GotFocus etc. I need to handle an event when HTML is rendered inside the control. Just wondered is it possible. For example, in asp.net we have OnRender, OnInit, OnLoad, OnPreLoad events which form web-page life-cycle. OnLoad in asp.net is something like Navigated for WebBrowser, the idea is to handle event similar to OnRender.

    Is there any Python library that allows me to parse an HTML document similar to what jQuery does? i.e. I'd like to be able to use CSS selector syntax to grab an arbitrary set of nodes from the document, read their content/attributes, etc. The only Python HTML parsing lib I've used before was BeautifulSoup, and even though it's fine I keep thinking it would be faster to do my parsing if I had jQuery syntax available. :D Write an iterative program that finds the largest number of McNuggets that cannot be bought in exact quantity.   • Can I automatically attach to the lifecycle of ANY server-enabled HTML tag?

    If a "server-enabled" HTML tag is in a Web form, like this -- <p runat="server"/> -- is there any way for me to attach to its rendering? I assume once they have runat="server", they must have a lifecycle of some kind. I'd like to attach some code to the rendering of any HTML tag so enabled. So, whenever a template author puts runat="server" on a tag, I can catch the PreRender (or anything else) and execute some code. Possible?

  • Does anyone know of a vim plugin or script to convert special characters to their corresponding HTML

    I develop websites for corporate clients, so we see the ®, ™, etc. chars a whole lot. Sometimes I paste in huge blocks of copy, which might even contain pretty quotes (“ ”) or other strange characters from word processors. So, my question is this: Does anyone know of a vim plugin or script that can, in one fell swoop, convert all these characters to html entities? I think this covers all the bases of the entities it would be nice to have: http://web.forret.com/tools/charmap.asp So, for the characters above, they would be replaced with &reg;, &trade;, &ldquo;, &rdquo;, etc. I tried the htmlspecialchars vimball (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2377), but no dice. It only performs its replacement like the PHP htmlsepcialchars function, replacing html-conflicting characters, and doesn't cover any additional special characters.

  • Working with three dimensional data in an HTML (ASP.NET) table.

    I am working on the prototype for a scheduling application on an intranet system. The application is for scheduling and tracking promotional workers at various locations on various dates (hence location, date, workers dimensions). Currently, only for prototyping, I am generating a data table of location/date, and from this I iteratively build an HTML table (asp:Table control). On visiting each cell, I query for people working that location-date and populate the cell accordingly. This is very inefficiant, and will at worst be improved by querying cached data for the whole location/date grid. I'm looking around for established patterns and techniques for dealing with scenarios like this in HTML in general, maybe a visualisation library for jQuery or something, and for ASP.NET in particular, maybe a library for implementation on a GridView etc. Am I going in the right direction with this, and if so, what recomendations are there regarding the previous paragraph?

  • I am using jquery ajax using text() but any html written in the XML doesn't render?

    So I have Jquery Ajax working real nice, but an issue I am having is in my XML if I want to bold a work or Italicize a sentence, if I do it in the XML using HTML tags it will not show up. I am pretty sure it is due to using the .text().   • How to prevent a specific directory from running Php, Html, and Javascript languages?

    Hi, Let's say i have an image uploader script, i want to prevent the upload directory from executing Php or even html by only showing it as plain text, i've seen this trick in many websites but i don't know how they do it. Briefly, if i upload evil.php to that directory, and i try to access it i will only see a plain text source , No html or php is executed. ( but i still want the images to appear normally ofcourse) I know i can do like that by header("content-type:text/plain"); but that's will not be helpful, because what i want, is to set the content-type:text/plain automatically by the server for every thing outputed from the upload directory except images. Note: i'm running php 5.3.2/Cent OS and the latest cPanel. Thanks

  • How should I generate HTML to represent class and its properties?

    Currently I have a class that represents a document. This document needs to be displayed as HTML. I would like to have a method to call such as GetHTML() that would then call GetHTML() on any properties/sections of the document that needed to be rendered. I was initially thinking about using linq and XElement but am wondering if that may cause issues with certain tags in HTML. Would I better off using an HtmlTextWriter? I am open to any suggestions or best practives for this situation. Thanks!

    I'm not sure if I worded the title correctly. Basically is it possible to treat a string as HTML as if it was on the page? So I can use $("#elem") and all the other jQuery functions? The HTML is loaded into a string from an ajax request and stored in a string. Instead of using regular expressions to access the data needed is it possible to use jQuery functions? ajaxTextResponse.$("#telephone"); I know the above won't work, but you see what I am getting at.   • How can I disable TinyMCE from stripping/modifying my HTML in Joomla?

    I've got a site running Joomla with TinyMCE set as the editor. One of the sites editors is now trying to embed a media player into an article but TinyMCE keeps messing up the HTML. I've tried setting the Extended Valid Elements, in the plugin config, to *[*] to allow anything and everything but it's not working. What I'd like is to disable the code stripping "feature" from TinyMCE all together. I don't want it trying to validate my HTML or anything like that. How can I disable the code stripping?

    I have an app, where there's one UIWebView and a UITableView. I don't want to create many .xib's, so I decided to make one .xib for all elements of the table. When user chooses a table element, the UIWebView appears and I want it to load data from different .html's depending on the name of the parent controller.     Hi I have a dialog that displays a form. When they save or close the dialog I call up the jquery dialog destroy method. However I am not clear if it removes the html div. From the description I would not think so Remove the dialog functionality completely. This will return the element back to its pre-init state. However when looking with firebug I can't see the html container so I am not sure if it gets removed or what. I am not sure if it is because I make the div for the dialog on the fly and use jquery to add it to the page.
