It should be called when column width of datagridview is changed.But when rows are added to datagridview this event is called what I don't want.   In XAML you can do <TabItem Selector.Selected="myEvenHandler"></TabItem> to set the event handler for when that tab is selected. How can I do the exact same thing dynamically. I would prefer not to use the SelectionChanged event of TabControl if I can help it. Clearly there is a Selected event on the TabItem I just cannot seem to get at it in code.   So we have an f:event: <f:metadata> <f:event type="preRenderView" listener="#{dashboardBacking.loadProjectListFromDB}"/> </f:metadata> Which is triggered as desired on initial page load (render). However this preRenderView event is also triggered by an ajax partial page render, which re-renders an h:panelgroup with the id projectListing, as below. <h:commandButton action="#{mrBean.addProject}" value="Create Project" title="Start a new project"> <f:ajax render="projectListing" /> </h:commandButton> I only want the dashboardBacking.loadProjectListFromDB to be called for the initial page render, but not when there is an ajax partial render. Is there a more appropriate event or method I could be using?

Often the document onload event (actually prototype's dom:loaded event) is getting fired before all DOM objects are actually loaded Is it possible that the tiles templates are loading in an asynchronous fashion and therefore doing an end run around the event handler?   I am trying to programmatically change a value of a wxRadioButton in a way the user would do it. A value change doesn't call the event corresponded to the button, and it make sense since the documentation says it clearly: wxRadioButton::SetValue void SetValue(const bool value) Sets the radio button to selected or deselected status. This does not cause a wxEVT_COMMAND_RADIOBUTTON_SELECTED event to get emitted. So the question is how can I call an programmatically generated event for a wxRadioButton ? I guess that it's something to do with: wxWindow window->AddPendingEvent(wxEvent *event ) A simple example would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried using PLSQLStoredProcedureCall which complains that I'm not executing a procedure and I have tried using StoredFunctionCall but that returns PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type Has anyone developed a solution to invoke functions in EclipseLink with Oracle Types? I have heard that it would be possible to extend StoredFunctionCall but I'd rather leverage existing functionality as much as possible.

• ASP.NET control event handler not firing on postback?

  I have a control which has an ImageButton which is tied to an OnClick event... Upon clicking this control, a postback is performed and the event handler is not called. AutoEventWireup is set to true, and I've double checked spelling etc.... We haven't touched this control in over a year and it has been working fine until a couple of weeks ago. We have made changes to controls which load this control... so I'm wondering, what kind of changes could we have made to stop this event handler from being called? There is quite a bit of Javascript going on, so this could be the culprit too... Edit: Some clarification... we are dynamically loading the parent control of the ImageButton in the OnLoad event of the page... if that makes sense.

I'd like to support the following operations: push(key, timestamp, event) - pushes event to the event queue for key, marked with the given timestamp. It is guaranteed that event timestamps for a particular key are pushed in sorted or almost sorted order. tail(key, timestamp) - get all events for key since the given timestamp. Usually the timestamp requests for a given key are almost monotonically increasing, almost synchronously with pushes for the same key. This stuff has to be persistent (although it is not absolutely necessary to persist pushes immediately and to keep tails with pushes strictly in sync), so I'm going to use some kind of database. What is the optimal kind of database structure for this task? Would it be better to use a relational database, a key-value storage, or something else?

• VS/C#: Can I be notified of every event that gets handled while debugging?

  I am currently troubleshooting a large and unwieldy GUI-based tool in Visual Studio, and was wondering whether there is any way to get some kind of notification (either by writing to the console or through a third-party tool) whenever any handled event occurs. This would make it a lot easier to track down what precisely is going on while I am interacting with this beast. Is there an 'on any event being handled' event I can handle, or some kind of add-in for VS which would make this possible?
