I found an article from the Eclipse.org marketing director where he states: "An organization that is 100% Microsoft probably won't/shouldn't consider Eclipse RCP." A colleague pointed out that this article was posted in 2005, so i was wondering if Microsoft has a competing product by now, and if not, why not?

    Our application tends to be running very slow recently. On debugging and tracing found out that the process is showing high cpu cycles and SQL Server shows high I/O activity. Can you please guide as to how it can be optimised? The application is now about an year old and the database file sizes are not very big or anything. The database is set to auto shrink. Its running on win2003, SQL Server 2005 and the application is a web application coded in c# i.e vs2005

    Hi, While using new SQL Server 2008 Reporting Service 2008 the page margins that I specify in Report Properties Page Setup do not seem to flow through to Excel when exported? They always seem to be set to Top & Bottom: 2.5cm, Left & Right: 1.9cm, no matter what I set them to in the report. This was working perfect in 2005 version. Any help would be much appreciated.   • Export CSV from JDE

    I need to import data from JD Edwards into MSSQL database. But I have some difficulty importing the CSV file (I'm using SSIS 2005). In the CSV files, total 18 columns, but there are only 16 comma delimiters. By right with 18 columns, there should be 17 comma delimiters, but the comma delimiter for the last column (which all null) never been written to the CSV. Does anyone ever encounter this and how to handle this?
