• Setting up GCALDaemon in Eclipse

  Hello, my eventual goal is to be able to use the authentication and communication to a GMail inbox. In my attempt, I stumbled up on GCALDaemon and am trying to set it up as a project within eclipse. However, I am running into problems running the project from the included .launch files.   I've got a couple of Core Data-generated class files that I'd like to add custom methods to. I don't need to add any instance variables. How can I do this? • jCarousel jQuery ajax loading 1000 records

  I'm using jCarousel to present a vertical scolling list of +-1000 names. I am using ajax to load the data 100 records at a time then when all the data has loaded I just let the jCarousel loop in the DOM.   I have a PreferenceScreen in which the user is capable, if system can't autodetect it, to enter the device's phone number. I'm still learning this part of Android but I managed to understand a bit of PreferenceScreens by examples provided by Android SDK itself and a few tutorials.   Hello SO; I've been fighting with this problem all day and am just about at my wit's end. I have an XML file in which certain portions of data are stored as escaped text but are themselves well-formed XML. I want to convert the whole hierarchy in this text node to a node-set and extract the data therein. No combination of variables and functions I can think of works. The way I'd expect it to work would be: <xsl:variable name="a" select="InnerXML"> <xsl:for-each select="exsl:node-set($a)/*"> 'do something </xsl:for-each> The input element InnerXML contains text of the form <root><element a>text</element a><element b><element c/><element d>text</element d></element b></root> but that doesn't really matter. I just want to navigate the xml like a normal node-set. Where am I going wrong?

  My django app parses some files uploaded by the user.It is possible that the file uploaded by the user may remain in the server for a long time ,without it being parsed by the app.This can increase in size if a lot of users upload a lot of files.   Hi Everyone! I get files in different formats coming from different systems that I need to import into our database. Part of the import process it to check the line length to make sure the format is correct. We seem to be having issues with files coming from UNIX systems where one character is added. I suspect this is due to the return carriage being encoded differently on UNIX and windows platform. Is there a way to detect on which file system a file was created, other than checking the last character on the line? Or maybe a way of reading the files as text and not binary which I suspect is the issue? Thanks Guys !

• PyQt4.QtCore doesn't contain many of its classes and attributes

  Hi everyone, I have built PyQt4 from source and everything went smoothly until I tried to use some of the classes and attributes located in QtCore. For some reason QtCore is missing a lot of functionality and data that should be there. For example from PyQt4.QtCore import QT_VERSION_STR is an import error. There were no errors or warnings given when building the packages and I have also tried with the PyQt packages from yum but I have the same problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem before?
