• Retrieve the full ASP.NET Form Buffer as a String

  Did it again today: For logging purposes I needed to capture the full Request.Form data as a string and while it’s pretty easy to retrieve the buffer it always takes me a few minutes to remember how to do it. So I finally wrote a small helper function to accomplish this since this comes up rather frequently especially in debugging scenarios or in the immediate window. Here’s the quick function to get the form buffer as string: /// <summary> /// Returns the content of the POST buffer as string /// </summary> /// <returns></returns> public static string FormBufferToString() { HttpRequest Request = HttpContext.Current.Request; if (Request.TotalBytes > 0) return Encoding.Default.GetString(Request.BinaryRead(Request.TotalBytes)); return string.Empty; } Clearly a simple task, but handy to have in your library for reuse. You probably don’t want to call this if you have a massive inbound form buffer, or if the data you’re retrieving is binary. It’s probably a good idea to check the inbound content type before calling this function with something like this: var formBuffer = string.Empty; if (Request.ContentType.StartsWith("text/") || Request.ContentType == "application/x-www-form-urlencoded") ) { formBuffer = FormBufferToString(); } to ensure you’re working only on content types you can actually view as text.   I am newbie in Linux word. I want to implement a bosh server. Because it is hard on Windows platform I decided to deploy it on a Ubuntu virtual machine via vmware. I made installation without problems. I followed the processes on this page. Now I want to test my bosh server with the command sudo bosh or sudo /etc/init.d/bosh start, after typing those I get on the terminal Starting bosh server after, nothing. I looked on the bosh.err file and I see exec: 2: /usr/local/lib/bosh/run-server.js: Permission denied I don? t know why this error with sudo. When I try ls -l /usr/local/lib/bosh/run-server.js it show -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4889 2012-04-01 18:50 /usr/local/lib/bosh/run-server.js How can I make bosh start?

• Drupal 7: Documents as a node/block/field

  I'm working on my first Drupal site. I've progressed in learning the basics . I still have a lot to learn tho. Using FileViewer I can load a PDF saved in a field, for view content of various types. I haven't found something that does the same for Word Docs, Excel, PDF, etc. Does anyone know of something that works in Drupal 7 to load documents other than PDF like FileViewer does inside a browser? Or like Scribd does (Scribd is hosted. I am behind a firewall with limited access for users. So I don't want to use a Scribd like service.)

  I'm trying to use a Spring context namespace to build some existing configuration objects in an application. I have defined a context and pretty much have if working satisfactorily - however, I'd like one bean defined by my namespace to implicitly reference another: Consider the class named 'Node': public Class Node { private String aField; private Node nextNode; public Node(String aField, Node nextNode) { ... } Now in my Spring context I have something like so: <myns:container> <myns:node aField="nodeOne"/> <myns:node aField="nodeTwo"/> </myns:container> Now I'd like nodeOne.getNode() == nodeTwo to be true. So that nodeOne.getNode() and nodeTwo refer to the same bean instance. Furthermore, the nextNode property is populated with a Node instance with the previous nodes configuration - however, it isn't the same instance. If I output a log message in Node's constructor I see two instances created for each node bean definition. I can think of a few workarounds myself but I'm keen to use the existing model. So can anyone tell me how I can pass these runtime bean references so that I get the correct singleton behaviour for my Node instances?

  I'm currently writing some tests so that I may improve my skills with the Internet interaction through Windows Forms. One of those tests is to find a postal code which should be returned by Canada Post website. My default URL setting is set to: http://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/fpc/personal/findByCity?execution=e4s1 The required form fields are: streetNumber, streetName, city, province The contentType is "application/x-www-form-enclosed" EDIT: Please consider the value "application/x-www-form-encoded" instead of point 3 value as the contentType. (Thanks EricLaw-MSFT!) The result I get is not the result expected. I get the HTML source code of the page where I could manually enter the information to find the postal code, but not the HTML source code with the found postal code. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong? Shall I consider going the XML way? Is it first of all possible to search on Canada Post anonymously?   I need to be able to iterate through all the form fields within a specified DIV tag. Basically, any given DIV tag can have multiple form fields (which is easy enough to parse through), but it can also any number of tables or even additional DIV tags (adding additional levels of hierarchical layering). I've written a basic function that goes through each of the direct descendants of the parent node (in this case, the DIV tag) and it clears out its value. This part works fine. The problem is getting it to parse children when children (grandchildren) of their own. It winds up getting caught up in an infinite loop. In this case, I need be able to find all the form fields within DIV tag "panSomePanel", which will include some direct children (txtTextField1), but also some grandchildren who are within nested TABLE objects and/or nested DIV tags (radRadioButton, DESC_txtTextArea).   I'm writing a Chef cookbook to install Hubot. For some reason, npm is trying to run under the wrong user, not the user specified in the bash resource. I am able to run sudo su - hubot -c "npm install /usr/local/hubot/hubot" manually, and this gets the result I want (installs hubot as the hubot user). However, it seems chef-client isn't executing the command as the hubot user. Below you'll find the chef-client execution. Thank you in advance. I want all requests destined to /components/ /css/ /img/ To check to see if their appropriate destinations exist on disk. However, I don't want requests to other directories to even run an IO operation, /foo/asdf /bar /baz/index.html None of those should result in the disk being touched. I have a stansa that does the proxy to node.js, location @proxy { internal; proxy_set_header Host $http_host; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header X-NginX-Proxy true; proxy_pass http://localhost:3030; proxy_redirect off; } I just would like to know how to arrange this. • Exchange 2007 two node cluster setup on Windows 2008 Enterprise, install error

  I am installing Microsoft Exchange 2007 x64 in a two node environment using Microsoft Windows 2008 Enterprise x64. The Failover Cluster is all setup properly and following best practices for setting up the windows clustering for use with Exchange 2007. All the validation tests pass on the cluster and all of that portion is working fine. The problem is when I go to install the first Exchange node as an Active mailbox in configuration for a two node CCR. It gets all the way through the first 3 steps (Copy Exchange Files, Management Tools, Mailbox Role) and then fails on the 4th step 'Clustered Mailbox Server' with the following error: Error: The clustered mailbox server's group 'XXXX' was not found, and should already exist. Firewalls are all disabled, DNS is all setup properly, the environment has 3 domain controllers all 2k8 ent x64, all replication works. The name I pick for the CCR cluster (XXX) does not exist in AD or in DNS. I have attempted this install from both of the two Exchange nodes and multiple times .. tried with different names. I have been banging my head against the wall for days working on this and would appreciate any feedback on the issue.

I prefer a solution that we can install on our servers. I have 3 products shortlisted for further review: MachForm, RackForms(formerly FormBoss) and Form Tools If anyone has used any of these products, I would appreciate your input on your experience with using these products and your recommendations. Does anyone know of other products that I must be sure to include in my review? We will eventually move over hundreds of forms to the chosen solution and I would like to make sure as much as I can that it will still be a viable solution in the coming years.   I wanna ask all of you about the type of application form which can developed by using Visual Studio . I know only 2 , there are windows application form and web application form . So i wanna know more because my teacher told me that there 4 more application forms . I try to search on Google or Wikipedia but still can't find the best answer for me .
