  I need help with passing arguments in CreateProcess() //Windows I want to: BOOL status = CreateProcess(L"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Lua\\lua52.exe", NULL, NULL, NULL, FALSE, NULL, NULL, NULL, &si, &pi); But with passing some arguments.... Lua interpreater accepts file with lua-scripts, so I have prepared it and want to do: lua52 C:\1.lua for example... I have the path of some lua-script and want the interpreater of Lua to interpreate it and than get the result of program on Lua from Created process. I have tried in some ways to do it, but no success. Please, help! Thank you!

  I'm using Spring's form tag library in a Spring MVC application that I am developing. The company I am working for has implemented some company-wide policies based on the definition of custom attributes for certain tags. For instance, by default (though the inclusion of a standard javascript file) all tags have their values automatically converted to upper case. In order to disable this one would define their tag with a custom attribute in the following way: <input type="text" uppercase="false" /> The problem is that the addition of these custom attributes to a spring:form tag causes an error at runtime. I've pasted the error below. org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /WEB-INF/jsp/reportCriteria.jsp(45,5) Attribute uppercase invalid for tag input according to TLD My question is: is there any way to extend the TLD to allow for these attributes, or is there any other way add these custom attributes to these spring:form tags?

• strtotime fails for valid date

  i am doing a project where i need to output date of orders. and i do the following inside a for loop <?php echo date('M d, Y g:i A',strtotime($order['Order']['created']));?> for some strange reason, sttotime returns false. (Dec 31, 1969 7:00 PM appears instead.) i made sure $order['Order']['created'] is not empty and is valid. even stranger, that exact same piece of code works fine on the other page, only different is that, that one is not in a loop. but that cant be the reason right? i set timezone to America/New_York and $order['Order']['created'] is mysql timestamp. var_dump on said variable string(27) "2010-06-16 20:12:51"

• Getting Oracle Exception: ORA-1017: invalid username/password; logon denied

  I have tried so many thing but i can't resolve that Error. I can connect with my username and password to: Database in SQLDeveloper, in SQL-Plus, in Server-Explorer (Visual Studio 2008) and all works fine. But if i Compile my Project i get that Error. Why is that? I tried to set case_sensitive to false, but the same error appears. I dont know what else to do.   I'm trying to stream FILESTREAM data from an unsafe SQL CLR assembly. The connection string is Data Source=LAPTOP2\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=test;Integrated Security=True;Enlist=False When creating a new SqlFileStream (inside a SqlTransaction, of course), I'm getting: The request is not supported at OpenSqlFilestream. So I decided to try native OpenSqlFilestream, but then I'm getting an invalid handle (-1) while GetLastWin32Error returns that same: The request is not supported (ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED). I have also tried SqlContext.WindowsIdentity.Impersonate() with no apparent effect. I couldn't find any documentation referencing this restriction. Is it really unsupported? If it is unsupported, is there a good reason? Does anyone know of a workaround?

  How to I get my security policy working? My parent swf parses an XML doc and loads 2 children. It throws a 2148 security error, and only works in the Flash IDE. I Also published my parent swf as 'network only' and put all the crossdomain.xml and everything else in the same folder.   Is it possible to have concurrency problems (thread competition) in an onEnterFrame method in ActionScript 2.0? I have written this cheesy code as a guard: if (!busy) { // I suspect some threading problems: is that even possible in flash busy = true; movePanels(); busy = false; } but this is no assurance against thread competition. If so, how can I do a basic semaphore/lock? Note: I suspect threading problems in my app, but if they're impossible, I'll check my code differently.

• Grails - Need to restrict fetched rows based on condition on join table

  Hi guys, I have these two domains Car and Driver which have many-to-many relationship. This association is defined in table tblCarsDrivers which has, not surprisingly, primary keys of both the tables BUT additionally also has a new boolean field deleted. Herein lies the problem. When I find/get query on domain Car, I am fetched all related drivers irrespective of their deleted status in tblCarsDrivers, which is expected. I need to put a clause/constraint to exclude the deleted drivers from the list of fetched records. PS: I tried using an association domain CarDriver in joinTable name but that seems not to work. Apparently it expects only table names, not maps. PPS: I know its unnatural to have any other fields besides the mapping keys in mapping table but this is how I got it and it cant be changed. • In CakePHP, how to leave all prefixes?

  I have a link that goes like this: $this->Html->link('Welcome', array('controller' => 'users', 'action' => 'add')); I suspect it doesn't work (Firefox says the redirect will never complete), so I did this: $this->Html->link('Welcome', array('controller' => 'users', 'action' => 'add', 'my'=>false)); 'my' is a prefix. I also have 'admin', 'ajax', and 'rss'. So now instead of pointing to /users/add or /my/users/add, the link points to /rss/users/add. The link is in a header, in a layout so I don't know which prefix it will be invoked from. I want to go to /users/add, that is, leave all prefixes altogether. How do I do that in CakePHP? I'm using 1.3 version.

• Preventing ListBox scrolling to top when updated

  I'm trying to build a simple music player with a ListBox playlist. When adding audio files to the playlist, it first fills the ListBox with the filenames and then (on a separate thread) extracts the ID3 data and overwrites the filenames with the correct Artist - Title information (much like Winamp). But while the ListBox is being updated, it's unscrollable, as it always jumps to the top on every item overwrite. Any way to prevent this? • IF/ELSE makes stored procedure not return a result set

  I have a stored procedure that needs to return something from one of two databases: IF @x = 1 SELECT @y FROM Table_A ELSE IF @x = 2 SELECT @y FROM Table_B Either SELECT alone will return what I want, but adding the IF/ELSE makes it stop returning anything. I tried: IF @x = 1 RETURN SELECT @y FROM Table_A ELSE IF @x = 2 RETURN SELECT @y FROM Table_B But that causes a syntax error. The two options I see are both horrible: Do a UNION and make sure that only one side has any results: SELECT @y FROM Table_A WHERE @x = 1 UNION SELECT @y FROM Table_B WHERE @x = 2 Create a temporary table to store one row in, and create and delete it every time I run this procedure (lots). Neither solution is elegant, and I assume they would both be horrible for performance (unless MS SQL is smart enough not to search the tables when the WHERE class is always false). Is there anything else I can do? Is option 1 not as bad as I think?

I think the issue may be caused because I am requesting this information in Page_PreInit. I found a solution in a stack overflow article but I don't seem be using it properly to actually make this go. I am not sure what I am missing. Thanks in advance.

• Making Django ignore string literals

  UPDATE: It turns out this is a deeper question than I thought at first glance - the issue is that python is replacing the string literals before they ever get to django. I will do more investigating and update this if I find a solution. I'm using django to work with LaTeX templates for report generation, and am running into a lot of problems with the way Django replaces parts of strings. Specficially, I've run into two problems where I try to insert a variable containing latex code. The first was that it would replace HTML characters, such as the less than symbol, with their HTML codes, which are of course gibberish to a LaTeX interpreter. I fixed this by setting the context to never autoescape, like so: c = Context(inputs) c.autoescape = False However, I still have my second issue, which is that Django replaces string literals with their corresponding characers, so a double backslash becomes \, and \b becomes a backspace. How can I force Django to leave these characters in place, so inputs['variable'] = '{\bf this is code} \\' won't get mangled when I use {{variable}} to reference it in the django template?
