    I want to create an array of Dictionaries. But the array size is unknown. For integer, i used List to obtain the integer array of unknown size. But in the case of Dictionary, am not able to create a list of Dictionary. Is thr any wayz by which this can be done? Dictionary(int, String) paramList=null;I am want to create the array of paramList(above). I am using C Sharp.

  • Trying to put a generic MyObj<T, U> into an IList where U can be different between objects

    I have the following class definition: public interface IItem{} public class FirstObject<T, U> : IItem { public U SomeProperty { get; private set; } } IList<IItem> myList = new List<IItem>(); I did it like this because U can be of different types. Now I want to iterate the list and get my items back, the problem is that I do not know how to cast them back to their original type so I can read the value of SomeProperty. Thanks for your help.

I'm trying to inject a specific IGenericRepository<Section> into a class using StructureMap: ObjectFactory.Initialize(x => { x.For(typeof(IGenericRepository<>)).Use(typeof(GenericRepository<>)); }); But when I try to use ObjectFactory.GetInstance<IGenericRepository<Section>>(); I get: StructureMap Exception Code: 202 No Default Instance defined for PluginFamily System.Data.Common.DbConnection Any ideas why this is or what I'm doing wrong?     I'm trying to use reflection to get a specific MethodInfo of a class, but am unsure how to differentiate between the two following methods: public class Test { public IBar<T1> Foo<T1>(); public IBar<T1, T2> Foo<T1, T2>(); } How can I get a reference to the different Foo methods, assuming I know the number of type parameters? Just calling typeof(Test).GetMethod("Foo") will throw an exception that the method name is ambiguous and there aren't a differing number of parameters to check.

  • Cannot see response body in ie8 when response http status code is set to some error code(422)

    I am making a requset to a web service that sends custom error with proper HTTP header when I notice some validation error, this works fine in chrome and mozilla as things always do and then it broke in ie8 as it always does! After checking the network activity, I see that ie8 is not able to get response body when HTTP code is other that 200(or at-least it seems so). In groovy I am returning error like : render(status: 422, contentType: 'TEXT', text: ((errors as JSON) as String)) Is there a way I could somehow get ie8 to read in the response body, or as an alternative I might be able to set response header but before trying that I was wondering if you guys have already seen this issue and know a solution to it.     I'm trying to build an algebra trainer for students. I want to construct a representative problem, define constraints and relationships on the parameters, and then generate a bunch of Latex formatted problems from the representation. As an example: A specific question might be: If y < 0 and (x+3)(y-5) = 0, what is x? Answer (x = -3) I would like to encode this as a Latex formatted problem like. If $y<0$ and $(x+constant_1)(y+constant_2)=0$ what is the value of x? Answer = -constant_1 And plug into my problem solver constant_1 > 0, constant_1 < 60, constant_1 = INTEGER constant_2 < 0, constant_2 > -60, constant_2 = INTEGER Then it will randomly construct me pairs of (constant_1, constant_2) that I can feed into my Latex generator. Obviously this is an extremely simple example with no real "solving" but hopefully it gets the point across. Things I'm looking for ideally in priority order * Solve algebra problems * Definition of relationships relatively straight forward * Rich support for latex formatting (not just writing encoded strings) Thanks!

  • Why would I get a bus error or segmentation fault when calling free() normally?

    I have a very simple test program, running on Solaris 5.8: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> int main(void) { char *paths; paths = getenv("PATH"); printf("Paths: %s\n", paths); free(paths); // this causes a bus error return 0; } If I don't call free() at the end, it displays the message fine and exits. If I include the free() call, it crashes with a bus error. I've had other calls to free(), in other programs, cause segmentation faults as well. Even if I allocate the memory for *paths myself, free() will cause a bus error. Is there some reason trying to free up the memory is causing a crash?

  • When loading shopping cart in Magento with a new Payment module, I get an error I haven't been able

    I am trying to add a new payment module into Magento. However, even after commenting out the vast majority of the code, I still get the following error: Fatal error: Call to a member function isAvailable() on a non-object in /var/www/html/app/code/core/Mage/Payment/Helper/Data.php on line 71 I am using Magento 1.4.0.1, and have disabled the cache. I even emptied the cache several times just in case. The only code currently not commented out is based on the tutorials here and here. The error occurs when the cart is loaded either from the administration area or the front end. Is there anyone out there that has run into a similar issue? I would post code, but I am not sure what needs to be posted. Thanks for the assistance.

    I'm reading "Generics in the Java Programming Language" by Gilad Bracha and I'm confused about a style of declaration. The following code is found on page 8: interface Collection<E> { public boolean containsAll(Collection<?> c); public boolean addAll(Collection<? extends E> c); } interface Collection<E> { public <T> boolean containsAll(Collection<T> c); public <T extends E> boolean addAll(Collection<T> c); // hey, type variables can have bounds too! } My point of confusion comes from the second declaration. It's not clear to me what the purpose the <T> declaration serves in the following line: public <T> boolean containsAll(Collection<T> c); The method already has a type (boolean) associated with it. Why would you use the <T> and what does it tell the complier? I think my question needs to be a bit more specific. Why would you write: public <T> boolean containsAll(Collection<T> c); vs public boolean containsAll(Collection<T> c); It's not clear to me, what the purpose of <T> is, in the first declaration of containsAll.

  • How to call implemented method of generic enum in Java?

    I am trying pass an enum into a method, iterate over that enums values, and call the method that that enum implements on all of those values. I am getting compiler errors on the part "value.getAlias()". It says "The method getAlias() is undefined for the type E" I have attempted to indicate that E implements the HasAlias interface, but it does not seem to work. Is this possible, and if so, how do I fix the code below to do what I want?
