    Will incrementing the instance variables of an object ever lead to a stack overflow error? I have a scenario where I want add the user with all those friends to the friends array.   • Virtualbox and getting the Locked VT-x Error when trying to use more than 1 processor on the session

    I have installed the latest version of virtualbox onto my Hewlett Pakard (h8-1170uk) I have a intel i7 2600 cpu and 8 gb of ram I can get virtual box to create several sessions of different operating systems at the same time, but whenever i try to get 1 session to open up using more than 1 processor option select ( i wanted one of my session access to 2 processors ) i keep getting this error message VT-x features locked or unavailable in MSR. (VERR_VMX_MSR_LOCKED_OR_DISABLED). Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: Console Interface: IConsole {1968b7d3-e3bf-4ceb-99e0-cb7c913317bb} I have search many times and cannot find a option to correct this. I have check my BIOS and there are no options about VT-x or Virtualisation or anything. Am i doing something wrong ? Why does Virtualbox run fine when just using the 1 processor option ?

  • Seam-gen isn't working properly.. log4j acuses an error

    Hello Seam Users, I'm having a couple problems with my Seam start up. I did the ./seam generate to reverse my current postgres db, which contains 4 tables, first I though everything was okay, just a warning message, but when I imported the project into eclipse, I saw that none of my packages had any class. This is the error that seam generate, got me. [hibernate] Executing Hibernate Tool with a JDBC Configuration (for reverse engineering) [hibernate] 1. task: hbm2java (Generates a set of .java files) [hibernate] log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.hibernate.cfg.Environment). [hibernate] log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. [javaformatter] Java formatting of 0 files completed. Skipped 0 file(s). Any ideas? The seam-gen was supposed to generate some entity classes, but its not. I suppose that error is causing the mis-behavior. Regards

    After an unexpected server shutdown due to a power failure, I can no longer connect to the internal windows database MICROSOFT##SSEE which is hosting Central Admin for my SBS 2008 server. The log shows: Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 16. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. [CLIENT: <named pipe>] I've tried to connect using the SQL Management studio (connecting to .pipemssql$microsoft##sseesqlquery) but no luck. The SQL Server Configuration Manager doesn't show a entry for 'Protocols for MICROSOFT##SSEE' (but shows it for 2 other database hosted on the same SQL server 2005 Express edition. I have tried to restore the master.ldf and mastlog.log files from a backup, but the issue persists.

  • Problems installing PIL after OSX 10.9

    I installed Mac OSX 10.9 the day it came out. Afterwards I decided I needed to install PIL. I'd installed it before, but it appeared the update had broken that. When I try to use pip to install PIL, it fails when building _imaging.   • TF2010 Build Definition and Access to Path is Denied error?

    I am new to TFS with regards to build definitions. I have a a build folder setup where I have set the permissons so EVERYONE has full control. Here is the exact error I am getting: E:\Builds\PIMSite\PIM.Site\PIM_Site.metaproj: Unable to copy file "C:\Builds\1\PIM System\PIM Site Build\Binaries\HtmlAgilityPack.xml" to "..\PIM.Site\Bin\HtmlAgilityPack.xml". Access to the path '..\PIM.Site\Bin\HtmlAgilityPack.xml' is denied. I have tried everyhitng. I have removed everything from that folder adn can delete it just fine so it is not being used by another process. Any thoughts?

    Hi, I cannot for the life of me figure this out, maybe someone can help. Using MODX a form takes user criteria to create a filter and return a list of documents. The form is one text field and a few checkboxes. If both text field and checkbox data is posted, the function works fine; if just the checkbox data is posted the function works fine; but if just the text field data is posted, modx gives me the following error: Error: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed. I've tested this outside of modx with flat files and it all works fine leading me to assume a bug exists within modx. But I'm not convinced.   • CoreData could not fulfill a fault when adding new attribute

    I am receiving a "CoreData could not fulfill a fault for ..." error message when trying to access a new attribute in a new data model. If I work with new data I'm ok, but when I attempt to read existing data I get the error. Do I need to handle the entity differently myself if the attribute isn't in my original data? I was under the impression that Core Data could handle this for me. My new attribute is marked as optional with a default value.     I have an iPad app in which I'm setting the shadow color of a UILabel in a UIView's initWithFrame: method.   • How do I fix this error? Windows server 2003 the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)

    Opening one of the programs from the user desktop I get the above Aplication error. It is a proram stored on the server and then the icon put on the users desktop (this is how I was told to do it) but it does not run the application. I don't know anything about group policies etc and can just about manage to add users in the active directory and that is it. We just have a folder which we drop the program icons into. Any ideas? I must be doing something wrong as it doesn't always show up on their desktop either. What is the simplest way to do this? Thanks

    Hello, I've tried to install vmware server 2 on a small business server 2008 host and IIS 7 stopped working. Everytime I tried to access any website on the server including OWA I get HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. I've tried to restart the IIS services and websites with no luck. Removed vmware server and the problem persists. There are no errors in the application logs concerning IIS or anything related. I'm stumped. Does anyone have an idea what's happenning here and how to fix it?

  • How can I resolve this error when using net start / stop: "The service name is invalid" ?

    We have a server that hosts a service (I'll call it "tomato"). Up until now, a client pc has been able to start and stop this service. They just double-click a batch file, and inside that batch file is the command net stop tomato or net start tomato They recently got a new physical computer, and now those same commands fail with the error: C:\>net stop tomato The service name is invalid. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2185. What do I need to do to let the client pc start and stop this service remotely? Edit: I mis-remembered the original commands. They were not using "net start" and "net stop" remotely. They were using sc \\server_name start tomato and sc \\server_name stop tomato And those commands to indeed still work.

    Hi there. I'm trying to build a simple cluster based on Windows XP. I compiled OpenMPI-1.4.2 successfully, and tools like mpicc and ompi_info work too, but I can't get my mpirun working properly. Can anyone help me? Upd2: Error code -2147024891 might be WMI error WBEM_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80041008) which occures when one of the parameters passed to the WMI call is not correct. Does this mean that the problem is in OpenMPI source code itself? Or maybe it's because of wrong/outdated wincred.h and credui.lib I used while building OpenMPI from the source code?
