  • Using Entity Framework V4 - Mapping Stored Procedures with XML output

    I have been attempting to implement the Entity framework into my project and unfortunately it seems like mapping an XML result set from SQL is not something that is supported. I also have issues with returning multiple result sets, though I understand that the EFExtensions was created to try to mitigate that issue. Is there a way to take a FOR XML EXPLICIT result from a SQL Stored Procedure and map it using the Entity Framework?

    Hi I have an issue in VSS 2005, there is a project in VSS, having multiple folders files in it, and most of the files around 2000 having their property "Store only latest version" is checked. I don't know how it is set. I want to change those around 2000 files property "Store only latest version" to unchecked, so that VSS retain all those files previous version. can it be done through a single command to unchecked this option for all those files in project recursively?     When doing a git tag, I'm not always great at remembering if HEAD~6 (for example) is inclusive or exclusive. Given that most of my commits are prefixed with an issue number, I wondered if there is some magic command for searching for the commit SHA from part of its message. I know it's easy to do a git log and work from there, but I want more easy :)

    I have created a shopping cart site, and i have got two complains for the same issue, but i am not able to track the main problem... They whenever they complete the process and reach at the last page they get the error message as "operation aboarded, Internet explorer can't open the page" Could someone helo me out? what could be the reason behind this.. i tried to get the error in IE-6,7,8 but I didnt get any error... ?

    hi, I cannot solve this issue with the video at this link: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio?tid[0]=66 It displays correctly in all browsers but not in IE8 or IE7. The IE8 debugger doesn't give me any error message. If I'm not wrong the video object is not added in IE. So, for some reason the Drupal module, jQuery Media and the library SWFObject are not adding it in IE browsers... any tip ? thanks

    I am getting: Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument this seems to happen when Text(1).SetFocus is called. However, I dont see this run time error for all the cases where I have used SetFocus. Just 2-3 places it is causing this error. Text(1).SelStart = 3 Text(1).SelLength = 1 Text(1).SetFocus I tried: Text(1).Enabled = True Text(1).Visible = True just above .SelStart, but it didn't fix the issue.

    I recently posted a detailed description of the issue I am facing here at SO. As I couldn't send an actual $http request, I used timeout to simulate asynchronous behavior. Data binding from my model to view is working correct, with the help of @Gloppy Now, when I use $http instead of $timeout (tested locally), I could see the asynchronous request was successful and data is filled with json response in my service.   • Returning all "positions" of a list

    I Have a list with "a" and "b" and the "b"'s are somewhat of a path and "a"'s are walls. Im writing a program to make a graph of all the possible moves. I got the code running to check the first "b" for possible moves, but i have NO Idea how im going to find all "b"'s , even less check them all without repeating. Major issue im having is getting the tuple coordinates of the "b"'s out of the list. Any pointers/tips?

I tried .onclick = new Function("showRapidText('" + itemnum + "')"); and .onclick = new Function("return showRapidText('" + itemnum + "')"); and about 40 other ways but nothing works

    Simplified table structure (the tables can't be merged at this time): TableA: dts_received (datetime) dts_completed (datetime) task_a (varchar) TableB: dts_started (datetime) task_b (varchar) What I would like to do is determine how long a task took to complete. The join parameter would be something like ON task_a = task_b AND dts_completed < dts_started The issue is that there may be multiple date-times that occur after the dts_completed. How do I create a join that only returns the first tableB-datetime that occurs after the tableA-datetime?
