    Hello. I have a console input in my Qt based application, it's a QLineEdit, all Ui is designed via QtDesigner. Is it any easy way way to handle up and down arrows in order to implement input history? The 'go to slot' only show returnProcessed signal, no way i can see to handle up and down arrows :(

    This can be a handy functionality to have in a program that works with files/folders. It's easy enough to actually open the containing folder using: System.Diagnostics.Process.Start( *path to folder* ); ...but how do I go about actually selecting the target file within that parent folder? If I use the Process.Start method it actually attempts to open the file.

    I have the situation in the following image: How would I go about resizing the widget when the retry child is hidden so that it looks as in the first image? The main layout is a QVBoxLayout, the retry child is a widget with a QVBoxLayout as well. I've tried the following: update() updateGeometry() setGeometry(childrenRect()) layout()-activate() on the main widget as soon as I've set the retry widget to hidden. Do I need to intercept some event to do this?

    I have implemented combobox in cakephp using following statement - echo $form->select('brand_id',array($brands),null,array(),'Choose Brand'); for brand and input form for category - echo $form->input('category_id',array('type'=>'select',$categories,'empty'=>'Choose Category')); but none of above option allows me to add my text input to brand or category, like say I want to add an input which is not there in the combobox, how should i go about it. Like a link in the combobox or textbox in combobox? -skr

After it has finished grabbing anything new i'd like to change the emblem of ~/Videos to add a plus or star (nautilus emblem preferably) Do i go about this via nautilus?     Hello, I'm testing my App and in a very simple view, each time a tap on a UITableView row, my allocation overall bytes get higher and higher and never go downs. I don't have any special code there, so I created a new project from scratch with a very simple view, force one section and just three rows. In the didSelectRowAtIndexPath code do nothing, and fire it with instruments and memory allocation and, the memory goes up with every cell selection ...     Go to my blog and please tell me how to achieve vertical alignment :( My situation truly is different and I need help :) The reason this is so difficult is because holder is the div that contains everything, outer are the icons at the bottom, and tooltip are the divs that pop up. I need tooltip to be vertically aligned but they are actually below outer. Each icon is connected to their post so you can't keep them all in one div.

  • Is it possible to programmatically edit a sound file based on frequency?

    Just wondering if it's possible to go through a flac, mp3, wav, etc file and edit portions, or the entire file by removing sections based on a specific frequency range? So for example, I have a recording of a friend reciting a poem with a few percussion instruments in the background. Could I write a C program that goes through the entire file and cuts out everything except the vocals (human voice frequency ranges from 85-255 Hz, from what I've been reading)? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    I'm making a site, and will be allowing guests to vote/comment. How should I go about storing the user info? I wouldn't like the info to be cleared if someone deletes the cookie (SO handles guest users via cookies I guess). If someone clears cookies and changes the ip at once, then only should the guest user info should be lost. Should I use sessions in php for this?
