  • Multiple Layout Managers in Java

    Is there way to use more than 1 layout manager in Java. Right now I'm using a gridLayout to implement a chess board but beneath it I would like to put some other stuff but not in a gridLayout. Maybe a FlowLayout or some other layout. How would I go about doing this? Thanks!

    Hi, I have a directory which contains several directories as follows: /Music/ /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-1980 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(Remastered)-2003 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(ReIssue)-1987 /Music/JoeBlogs-Thunder_Man-1947 I want a script to go through and tell me when there are 'possible' duplicates, in the example above it would pick up the following as possible duplicates from the directory list: /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-1980 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(Remastered)-2003 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(ReIssue)-1987 1) Is this possible? 2) If so please help!

    If I have a for loop which is nested within another, how can I efficiently come out of both loops (inner and outer) in the quickest possible way? I don't want to have to use a boolean and then have to say go to another method, but rather just to execute the first line of code after the outer loop. I would like to cover two situations: one application deployment in IIS which would handle multiple languages one language / application deployment. In first situation should you go with somekind of view based thing like, ~/View/EN, ~/View/FI, ~/View/SWE or something different ?   • Grid 960 bug in Internet Explorer 8?

    If you go to the "Variable Grid System" generator and have: column width = 20 number of columns = 12 and gutter width = 60 ...the system provides a content width of 900 and a full width of 960. http://www.spry-soft.com/grids/ Now, this is all fine and dandy in Firefox, Chrome, and even IE6, but when you load those settings in IE8, you end up with the actual full width as 1000px, not 960px. Has this issue been encountered before?

    I want to modify the "Java class" template, so that the class javadoc comment includes more than just the author. In Netbeans 6.8., I go to Tools Templates Java Java Class, and modify the template. However, nothing seems to change. I tried restarting Netbeans, just in case, but the old template is still used. How do I get Netbeans to recognize changes to the template for Java Classes?
