Hello,
.... ‹BÿЃÀ‰D$Ç„$ ....... that's what happens when you open (notepad) such a file that I'm talking about
How do algorithms decode that information and when does a program use/generate it ?
Does some notepad-like application exist that open such files and transform them to readable code/data ?
Any more information which will clarify about these files will be very helpful.
Thank you for your time,
P.S I'm not talking strictly about .exe files
I can't seem to find in the SDK how to programatically sense the mute button/switch on the iPhone. When my app plays background music, it responds properly to the volume button without me having any code to follow that but, when I use the mute switch, it just keeps playing away.
How do I test the position of mute?
(NOTE: My program has its own mute switch, but I'd like the physical switch to override that.)
Thanks!
I have been doing Java, and C# for many years.
Starting on my first big Python program now.
I have written a few, very small, text processing scripts in Python years ago.
I would like to know what is the best, free, online Python tutorial for experienced programmers.
Python in general, but then also web programming with Python. Will be using Django.
Thanx much.
So I have this code:
p.Value = 1;
decimal avg = p.Value * 100 / 10000;
string prntout = p.Key + " : " + avg.ToString();
Console.WriteLine(prntout);
But the program prints out 0, instead of 0.01. p.Value is an int. How do I fix that?
HI,

Is it possible to use Xcode using iPhone 3.1.3 SDK to compile a standard C program that will work on the iphone? I'm trying to use xcode to compile a basic 'hello world' but to no avail. Do I need to obtain an additional application template or am I just missing something?

Is there a good J2ME IDE? I mean something lightweight, and portable. Something that can run what you program on it. My favorite Java IDE is JCreator Lite. Is there something like that for J2ME? Also, which would you say is the best J2ME IDE?
I want to have a web page where user can activate his/her web-camera and send video to another user. Additionally to that I want to have a possibility to process video on the client side. In more details, I want to have a program which analyze video on the client side. Is it possible to do it with Flash?
I want to be able to get the current % CPU usage in a C++ program running under Wince.
I found this link that states where the source code is but I cannot find it in my platform builder installation - I expect this is because it isn't the Windows Automotive platform.
Does anyone know where I can find this source code or (even better) know how I can get this information directly? i.e. what DLL / function calls to make etc.
In order to refactor some methods into smaller ones, I need pass by reference, since I can only have one return type. I could create a different return or parameter type whenever I need to do this, but then I'd end up with a bunch of bloated, seemingly unnecessary classes.
What is the best alternative here, besides redesigning the program, which can't be done?
Write a program that computes the sum of the logarithms of all the primes from 2 to some number n, and print out the sum of the logs of the primes, the number n, and the ratio of these two quantities. Test this for different values of n.
I'm looking for a quick bash script or program that will allow me to kick off a python script in a separate thread. What's the best way to do this? I know this is incredibly simple, just curious if there's a preferred way to do it.
Where are functions stored in a C++ program?
For example
int abc()
{
//where am I stored?
}
I know that we can take the address of a function, that means functions are stored somewhere in memory. But I have already read at many places that no memory allocation for functions takes place.
I am confused. My question may seem vague to many of you but I can't help.
Hi, i notice in the Android Default Voice Recorder that can sense how loud is your voice and show it to you in UI parameter .

I'm working on a quick setup program in VS2005 and wanted to change the banner bitmap. Anyone know off-hand what the ideal (or req'ed) dimensions are for the new banner image? Thanks.
Hey guys, I have a laptop with a very sensitive touch pad, and wanted to code a small program that could block the mouse input when I was typing a paper or something.
I didn't think it would be hard to do, considering everything I've seen on low-level hooks, but I was wrong (astounding, right?).
I looked at a few examples, but the examples I've seen either block both keyboard and mouse, or just hide the mouse.
Any help with this would be great.
Is there a way to specify how an image is scaled up in an Image element with LayoutTransform set to a ScaleTransform with integer values for ScaleX and ScaleY?
I want to display the scaled image crisply (ie using 'nearest neighbour' scaling), with no blurring. (Imagine how you would want a bitmap editing program to behave when zooming in).
I noticed the protected property VisualBitmapScalingMode on Image, so created a subclass of Image that sets this property to BitmapScalingMode.NearestNeighbor. However, this had no effect.
We're trying to script a cad program, and this is the example for controlling the date in our design slugs, but I don't even know what language it is to know what to do with it.
! LIBEDATE
def &d$ &ret$
set &d$ = rstr(`/`,` `,#d$);
set &ret$ = word(&d$,2),`/`,word(&d$,1),`/`,subs(word(&d$,3), -2, 2)
My installer is checking if the program is already installed and I would like to skip the "Enter the path" page in that case.
How can I script that in NSIS 2.0 ?
is it possible to take the input from other systems for our program purpose and as well as i want the send the output to their systems. is it possible?
if it is possible give the script to me.
by which module i can get the perfect solution and please post it to me
I'm deveoping a big project, I have the dev folder (connected to a specific subdomain) then the "real" folder, the live one. When I'm ready to push patches or whole new versions I'm currently copying the files individually, is there a program that can help me do this task?
Keep in mind that some files (the config one and the htacess) must never change in the live version.
Thank you
