• AuthSub token from Google/YouTube API is always returned as invalid

  Anyone out there have experience with the YouTube/Google API? I am trying to login to Google/Youtube using clientLogin, retrieve an AuthSub token, exchange it for a multi-session token and then use it in our upload form. Just a note that we are not going to have other users logging into our (secure) website, this is for our use only (no multi-users). We just want a way to upload videos to our YT account via our own website without having to login/upload to YouTube. Ultimately, everything is dependent on the first step. My AuthSub token is always being returned as invalid (Error '403'). All the steps I used are below with username/password changed. Anyone have an insight on why my AuthSub is always invalid? I am spending an enormous amount of time trying to get this to work. • mexTcpBinding in WCF - IMetadataExchange errors

  I'm wanting to get a WCF-over-TCP service working. I was having some problems with modifying my own project, so I thought I'd start with the "base" WCF template included in VS2008. I get the feeling that you can't send metadata using TCP, but that's the case why is there a mexTcpBinding option?

• Why is my spawned process still causing IntelliJ to wait?

  I'm trying to start a server as part of an Ant artifact. Here are the relevant lines: <exec dir="." executable="cmd.exe" spawn="true"> <arg line="/c c:\Java\james-2.3.2\bin\debug.bat" /> </exec> If I start it with ant from the command line, a process is spawned and I get a command prompt and everything seems fine. However, if I start it from IntelliJ 6, my IDE, the build stays alive until I kill the server. Either way, I have only limited control over what IntelliJ does. My question is: how does IntelliJ even know the process is running? The Ant process is long gone. Is there a way to start a subprocess in a more sneaky way, so that IntelliJ won't even know there's anything to wait around for? I have those four folders with for storing drawables in my app: /res/drawable-hdpi /res/drawable-ldpi /res/drawable-mdpi /res/drawable-nodpi the splash image has its own version in the first three of them and is displayed properly. Removing the src property from the ImageView removes the image but not the exception. I'm a little bit lost with where to look for the cause of the exception. I even don't know if this is really an issue in this layout file etc. How would you go about finding the cause for this warning?

  Hello, I am getting the following error when trying to update an object using nhibernate. I am attempting to update a field which is a foreign key. Any thoughts why I might be getting this error? • Add Service Reference is generating Message Contracts

  OK, this has been haunting me for a while, can't find much on Google and I am starting to lose hope so I am reverting to the SO community. When I import a given service using "Add service Reference" on Visual Studio 2008 (SP1) all the Request/Response messages are being unnecessarily wrapped into Message Contracts (named as -- "operationName" + "Request"/"Response" + "1" at the end). The code generator says: // CODEGEN: Generating message contract since the operation XXX is neither RPC nor document wrapped. The guys who are generating the wsdl from a Java service say they are specifying DOCUMENT-LITERAL/WRAPPED. Any help/pointer/clue would be highly appreciated. Update: this is a sample of my wsdl for one of the operations that look suspicious. • Jboss logging issue

  Our application is deployed on JBoss As 4.0x and we face some issues with JBoss logging. Whenever the server is restarted, JBoss stops logging, and there is no update in server.log. After that it is not updating the log file. Then we do touch cmd on log4j.xml, so that it creates the log files again. Please help me in fixing the issue we cant do touch everytime. We face this issue in both the nodes. I could not figure where the problem is? If any other issues, we can check the log files. If log itself is not getting updated/logged, how can we move further in analyzing the issues without the recent/updated logs? • JMS messaging implementation

  I've been struggling with this "simple" task for more expirienced people, I'm stuck for 2 days now need help. I've changed things arround like zillion times now, finally I stumbled upon this spring JMS tutorial. What I want to do, Send a message and receive it. I've been also reading this book chapter 8 on messaging. It really nicely explains 2 type of messaging and there is nice example for publish-and-subscribe type but now example for point-to-point messaging( this is the one I need). Once you’ve done this, methods on the MessageConsumer enable you to either query the Destination for messages or to register for message notification. Can somebody please direct me towards right direction, is there a tutorial which explains in details how to receive message from the queue?I have the working send message code, didn't post it here because this post is too long as it is.

• VS2010 Assembly Load Error

  I am getting the following error when I try to build an ASP.NET 4 project in Visual Studio 2010: "Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Dev\project\trunk\bin\Elmah.dll' or one of its dependencies. Operation is not supported. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131515)". I have verified that the dll does, in fact, exist, and is getting copied to the bin folder correctly. I have also tried removing and then re-adding the reference to the project. The build only fails when I switch the Solution Configuration to "Release". It does not fail when the Solution Configuration is set to "Debug". • Installing a configuration profile on iPhone - programmatically

  Hi all, I would like to ship a configuration profile with my iPhone application, and install it if needed. Mind you, we're talking about a configuration profile, not a provisioning profile. First off, such a task is possible. If you place a config profile on a Web page and click on it from Safari, it will get installed. If you e-mail a profile and click the attachment, it will install as well. "Installed" in this case means "The installation UI is invoked" - but I could not even get that far. So I was working under the theory that initiating a profile installation involves navigating to it as a URL. I added the profile to my app bundle. A) First, I tried [sharedApp openURL] with the file:// URL into my bundle. No such luck - nothing happens. B) I then added an HTML page to my bundle that has a link to the profile, and loaded it into a UIWebView. Clicking on the link does nothing. Loading an identical page from a Web server in Safari, however, works fine - the link is clickable, the profile installs. I provided a UIWebViewDelegate, answering YES to every navigation request - no difference. C) Then I tried to load the same Web page from my bundle in Safari (using [sharedApp openURL] - nothing happens. I guess, Safari cannot see files inside my app bundle. D) Uploading the page and the profile on a Web server is doable, but a pain on the organizational level, not to mention an extra source of failures (what if no 3G coverage? etc.). So my big question is: how do I install a profile programmatically? And the little questions are: what can make a link non-clickable within a UIWebView? Is it possible to load a file:// URL from my bundle in Safari? If not, is there a local location on iPhone where I can place files and Safari can find them? EDIT on B): the problem is somehow in the fact that we're linking to a profile. I renamed it from .mobileconfig to .xml ('cause it's really XML), altered the link. And the link worked in my UIWebView. Renamed it back - same stuff. It looks as if UIWebView is reluctant to do application-wide stuff - since installation of the profile closes the app. I tried telling it that it's OK - by means of UIWebViewDelegate - but that did not convince. Same behavior for mailto: URLs within UIWebView. For mailto: URLs the common technique is to translate them into [openURL] calls, but that doesn't quite work for my case, see scenario A. For itms: URLs, however, UIWebView works as expected... EDIT2: tried feeding a data URL to Safari via [openURL] - does not work, see here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/641461/iphone-open-data-url-in-safari EDIT3: found a lot of info on how Safari does not support file:// URLs. UIWebView, however, very much does. Also, Safari on the simulator open them just fine. The latter bit is the most frustrating.

• Functions registered with ExternalInterface.addCallback not available in Javascript

  I'm working on a Flash game that needs to call some Javascript on the page and get data back from it. Calling Javascript from Flash works. Calling the Flash functions from Javascript (often) doesn't. I'm using the Gaia framework. What happens: The swf is loaded in with SWFObject There's a button in the Flash file. On click, it uses ExternalInterface.call() to call a Javascript function. This works. The Javascript function calls a Flash function that was exposed with ExternalInterface.addCallback(). Sometimes, the Javascript produces the following error: TypeError: myFlash.testCallback is not a function. When the error happens, it affects all functions registered with addCallback(). Gaia and some of its included libraries use addCallback(), and calling those functions from Javascript also produces the TypeError. Waiting a long time before pressing the button in Flash doesn't solve the error. Having Flash re-try addCallback() periodically doesn't solve the error When the error occurs, ExternalInterface.available = true and ExternalInterface.objectID contains the correct name for the Flash embed object. When the error occurs, document.getElementById('myflashcontent') correctly returns the Flash embed object. • JSF: Cannot catch ViewExpiredException

  I'm developing a JSF 2.0 application on Glassfish v3 and i'm trying to handle the ViewExpiredException. But whatever i do, i always get a Glassfish error report instead of my own error page. To simulate the occurrence of the VEE, i inserted the following function into my backing bean, which fires the VEE. I'm triggering this function from my JSF page through a commandLink. • Refresh QTextEdit in PyQt

  Hi all, Im writing a PyQt app that takes some input in one widget, and then processes some text files. What ive got at the moment is when the user clicks the "process" button a seperate window with a QTextEdit in it pops up, and ouputs some logging messages. On Mac OS X this window is refreshed automatically and you cna see the process. On Windows, the window reports (Not Responding) and then once all the proccessing is done, the log output is shown. Im assuming I need to refresh the window after each write into the log, and ive had a look around at using a timer. etc, but havnt had much luck in getting it working. Below is the source code. It has two files, GUI.py which does all the GUI stuff and MOVtoMXF that does all the processing.   Hello, I'm a newbie to StackOverflow so please be kind ;) I'm using Entity Framework in Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 (.NET framework 4.0 Beta 2). I have created an entity framework .edmx model from my database and I have a handful of many-to-many relationships. A trivial example of my database schema is Roles (ID, Name, Active) Members (ID, DateOfBirth, DateCreated) RoleMembership(RoleID, MemberID) I am now writing the custom role provider (Inheriting System.Configuration.Provider.RoleProvider) and have come to write the implementation of IsUserInRole(username, roleName). The LINQ-to-Entity queries which I wrote, when SQL-Profiled, all produced CROSS JOIN statements when what I want is for them to INNER JOIN.   Hi, We've spent the last two days trying to get squid 2.7 to work with ubuntu 9.10. The computer running ubuntu has two network interfaces: eth0 and eth1 with dhcp running on eth1. Both interfaces have static ip's, eth0 is connected to the Internet and eth1 is connected to our LAN. We have followed literally dozens of different tutorials with no success. • Question about how to use strong typed dataset in N-tier application for .NET

  Hello All, I need some expert advice on strong typed data sets in ADO.NET that are generated by the Visual Studio. Here are the details. Thank you in advance. I want to write a N-tier application where Presentation layer is in C#/windows forms, Business Layer is a Web service and Data Access Layer is SQL db. So, I used Visual Studio 2005 for this and created 3 projects in a solution. project 1 is the Data access layer. In this I have used visual studio data set generator to create a strong typed data set and table adapter (to test I created this on the customers table in northwind). The data set is called NorthWindDataSet and the table inside is CustomersTable. project 2 has the web service which exposes only 1 method which is GetCustomersDataSet. This uses the project1 library's table adapter to fill the data set and return it to the caller. To be able to use the NorthWindDataSet and table adapter, I added a reference to the project 1. project 3 is a win forms app and this uses the web service as a reference and calls that service to get the data set. In the process of building this application, in the PL, I added a reference to the DataSet generated above in the project 1 and in form's load I call the web service and assign the received DataSet from the web service to this dataset. But I get the error: "Cannot implicitly convert type 'PL.WebServiceLayerReference.NorthwindDataSet' to 'BL.NorthwindDataSet' e:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\DataSetWebServiceExample\PL\Form1.cs". Both the data sets are same but because I added references from different locations, I am getting the above error I think. So, what I did was I added a reference to project 1 (which defines the data set) to project 3 (the UI) and used the web service to get the DataSet and assing to the right type, now when the project 3 (which has the web form) runs, I get the below runtime exception. "System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (1, 5058). --- System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaException: Multiple definition of element 'http://tempuri.org/NorthwindDataSet.xsd:Customers' causes the content model to become ambiguous. A content model must be formed such that during validation of an element information item sequence, the particle contained directly, indirectly or implicitly therein with which to attempt to validate each item in the sequence in turn can be uniquely determined without examining the content or attributes of that item, and without any information about the items in the remainder of the sequence." I think this might be because of some cross referenceing errors. My question is, is there a way to use the visual studio generated DataSets in such a way that I can use the same DataSet in all layers (for reuse) but separate the Table Adapter logic to the Data Access Layer so that the front end is abstracted from all this by the web service? If I have hand write the code I loose the goodness the data set generator gives and also if there are columns added later I need to add it by hand etc so I want to use the visual studio wizard as much as possible. thanks for any help on this. sb

  I am trying to create a WCF client APP that is consuming a JAVA WS that uses username_token with message protection client policy. There is a private key that is installed on the server and a public certificate file was exported from the JKS keystore file. I have installed the public key into certificate store via MMC under Personal certificates. I am trying to create a binding that will encrypt the message and pass the username as part of the payload. I have been researching and trying the different configurations for about a day now. • Android using ksoap calling PHP SOAP webservice fails: 'procedure 'CheckLogin' not found

  I'm trying to call a PHP SOAP webservice. I know my webservice functions correctly because I use it in a WPF project succesfully. I'm also building an app in android, using the same webservice. It may be possible there are some weird things in my Java code because I changed a lot since. I hope you guys will be able to help me, thanks. EDIT: My webservice is of document/literal encoding style, after doing some research I found I should be able to use SoepEnvelope Instead of SoapSerializationEnvelope Though when I replace this I get an error before the try cache block, causing my app to crash. Error: 11-04 16:23:26.786: E/AndroidRuntime(26447): Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: org.ksoap2.serialization.SoapObject cannot be cast to org.kxml2.kdom.Node Which is caused by these lines: request.addSoapObject(UserCredentials); soapEnv.setOutputSoapObject(request); This may be a solution though, how do I go about this? I found nothing about using a SoapEnvelope instead of a SoapSerializationEnvelope except for this awesome tutorial: http://ksoap.objectweb.org/project/mailingLists/ksoap/msg00849.html
