• Windows Sharepoint Services - FullTextSqlQuery Document library Unable to find items created by SYST

  We have created an ASP.NET web app that upload files to WSS Doc Libary. The files get added under 'SYSTEM ACCOUNT' in the library. The FullTextSqlQuery class is used to search the document libary items. But it only searches files that has been uploaded by a windows user account like 'Administrator' and ignores the ones uploaded by 'SYSTEM ACCOUNT'. As a result the search results are empty even though we have the necessary data in the document library. What could be the reason for this? • How can we copy the column data of one datatable to another,even if there is different column names

  I have two datatables. First is DataTable NameAdressPhones = new DataTable(); with Three columns Name,Adress and PhoneNo.But I want only two columns Name and Adress data so I am copy those columns (with data) to the new datatable DataTable NameAdress = new DataTable(); For that I do foreach (DataRow sourcerow in NameAdressPhones.Rows) { DataRow destRow = NameAdress.NewRow(); foreach (string colname in columns) { destRow[colname] = sourcerow[colname]; } NameAdress.Rows.Add(destRow); } Now I clear every time the NameAdressPhones(first) datatable when there are new records in the table.And every time there will be same no of columns but column name will be different like Nm instead of Name,Add instead of Address.Now problem is second datatable have already column names Name and Address and now I want to copy the columns data of Nm and Add to the second datatabel but the column names are different to the second datatable.So even If there is different column names I want to copy Nm column data of first datatable to the column Name of second datatable and column Add data of first datatable to column Address of second datatable.

• WPF: Adorner Hit Testing / MouseDown Event

  Hello, I have an Adorner which adornes a Border (please see screenshot below). The MouseDown Event for the Adorner is however only raised, when clicking on an element in the adorner. I need the MouseDown Event to be raised, when clicking on any place in the adorner above the adorned element. How can this be done? Do I have to add an transparent control in the adorner or is there another way for this? Thanks for any help! • Mixed surrogate composite key insert in JPA 2.0, PostgreSQL and Hibernate 3.5

  First off, we are using JPA 2.0 and Hibernate 3.5 as persistence provider on a PostgreSQL database. We successfully use the sequence of the database via the JPA 2.0 annotations as an auto-generated value for single-field-surrogate-keys and all works fine. Now we are implementing a bi-temporal database-scheme that requires a mixed key in the following manner: Table 1: id (pk, integer, auto-generated-sequence) validTimeBegin (pk, dateTime) validTimeEnd (dateTime) firstName (varChar) Now we have a problem. You see, if we INSERT a new element, the field id is auto-generated and that's fine. So my question is: Is there a way to tell hibernate via JPA to stop auto-generating the id-field in the case I want to generate a new variety of the same person and go on as usual in every other case or do I have to take over the whole id-generation with custom code?   Hi, i'm playing with Motools + MochaUI and i'm facing a problem: I'm trying to submit a form from a modal window. It is working fine, the problem is that it is reloading the parent window. The code to my Modal: MUI.newPolicyWindow = function(){ new MUI.Modal({ id: 'modalNewPolicy', title: 'New Policy', contentURL: '/policies/new', type: 'modal', width: 340, height: 180, scrollbars: false }); } And my js to handle the action (the form's name is new_policy $('new_policy').addEvent('submit', function(e){ new Event(e).stop(); this.set('send', {onComplete: function(response) { MochaUI.notification('Policy created'); MUI.closeAll(); }}); this.send() }); Note that the form is submitted, the problem is that i would like that, on Success, it just close my Modal and send this Mocha's cute notification.

  Hi, I'm writing an app to check for the bus timetable's. Therefor I need to post some data to a html page, submit it, and parse the resulting page with htmlparser.   Hello, I am new to ASP.net MVC and I am having trouble getting dropdown lists to work correctly. I have a strongly typed view that is attempting to use a Html.DropDownListFor as follows: <%=Html.DropDownListFor(Function(model) model.Arrdep, Model.ArrdepOptions)%> I am populating the list with a property in my model as follows: Public ReadOnly Property ArrdepOptions() As List(Of SelectListItem) Get Dim list As New List(Of SelectListItem) Dim arriveListItem As New SelectListItem() Dim departListItem As New SelectListItem() arriveListItem.Text = "Arrive At" arriveListItem.Value = ArriveDepart.Arrive departListItem.Text = "Depart At" departListItem.Value = ArriveDepart.Depart Select Case Me.Arrdep Case ArriveDepart.Arrive : arriveListItem.Selected = True Case Else : departListItem.Selected = True End Select list.Add(departListItem) list.Add(arriveListItem) Return list End Get End Property The Select Case works find and it sets the right SelectListItem as Selected, but when my view renders the dropdown list no matter what is marked as selected the generated HTML does not have anything selected. Am I obviously doing something wrong or missing something, but I can't for the life of me figure out what.

  If I move the application resources to a UserControl resources everythgin runs groovy. I still don't understand why. I noticed that my application object MyApp did more than inherit from Application it loaded an XAML for the main template and connected all the plumbing. • Uploading images from Flex to Rails using Paperclip

  Hi everyone, I'm looking for a way to upload images that were created in my flex app to rails. I've tried to use paperclip, but it don't seem to work. I've got this tutorial here: http://blog.alexonrails.net/?p=218 The problem is, that they are using a FileReference to browse for files on the clients computer. They call the .upload(...) function and send the data to the upload controller. • Creating .NET 3.0 sub-applications within .NET 1.1 applications in IIS/ASP.Net

  I am basically trying to do the same thing as this question, create a new application within a folder so it could be accessed as follows. * http://www.domain.com/ < Main App * http://www.domain.com/newapp < New App The problem is that newapp is reading the web.config from the Main App, which is causing errors because it doesn't have all the same dlls etc. For New App, in IIS, the starting point is set at /newapp, so I am not sure why it is reading the web.config from / at all. It is set as it's own application. I am testing this in IIS6 on XP Pro, so not sure if that makes a difference. The Main App is dotnet 1.1, and New App is 3.0. Edit: Adding 'inheritInChildApplications to <location doesn't work in 1.1, you get an error: Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'inheritInChildApplications'

  How do I create reusable custom new item form + preferrably, i don't want to tie this form to content type? I want to force render one hidden field (it could be render on the page, but make invisible or render on the page and display) and set field value programmatically (that's why it has to be rendered - to set it's value). Google has tons of information on how to create custom list form with sharepoint designer, but in my case, i don't want sharepoint designer for the advantages you see below. What i'm trying to achieve I want to be able to have a custom newform to create item (i don't want it to be as default). To open this newForm i would use CustomAction in item's ECB menu. In this form, i want to force render one hidden field and set it's value programmatically. I am not using config file as I am mainly experimenting, not developing real-life application, but I need to study the case. But if you think I can achieve what I need only with config files, then OK, I'll use them. I will provide exception details for each combination of settings if required, I'm omitting them not to make the post too large. Any ideas on what I can do?

A strongly named application or component cannot reference a weak-named component, so strong-naming an EXE prevents the EXE from referencing weak-named DLLs that are deployed with the application. For this reason, the Visual Studio project system does not strong-name application EXEs. Instead, it strong-names the Application manifest, which internally points to the weak-named application EXE. I expected VS to avoid this problem, but I had no luck there, it complained about all the unsigned references, so I created a separate "WCF Service Library" project inside my solution containing only code above and signed that one. At this point entire solution compiled just okay. And here's my problem: When I fired up "WCF Service Configuration Editor" I was able to add new behavior element extension (say "AuthExtension"), but then when I tried to add that extension to my end point behavior it gives me: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. So I'm stuck here. Any ideas?

• Subclassed django models with integrated querysets

  Like in this question, except I want to be able to have querysets that return a mixed body of objects: >>> Product.objects.all() [<SimpleProduct: ...>, <OtherProduct: ...>, <BlueProduct: ...>, ...] I figured out that I can't just set Product.Meta.abstract to true or otherwise just OR together querysets of differing objects. Fine, but these are all subclasses of a common class, so if I leave their superclass as non-abstract I should be happy, so long as I can get its manager to return objects of the proper class. The query code in django does its thing, and just makes calls to Product(). Sounds easy enough, except it blows up when I override Product.__new__, I'm guessing because of the __metaclass__ in Model... I have variously tried super(A, cls), Top, super(A, A), and all of the above in combination with passing cls in as the first argument to __new__, all to no avail. Why is this kicking me so hard? Do I have to figure out django's metaclasses to be able to fix this or is there a better way to accomplish my ends?

• Creating sub-applications within applications in IIS/ASP.Net

  I am basically trying to do the same thing as this question, create a new application within a folder so it could be accessed as follows. * http://www.domain.com/ < Main App * http://www.domain.com/newapp < New App The problem is that newapp is reading the web.config from the Main App, which is causing errors because it doesn't have all the same dlls etc. For New App, in IIS, the starting point is set at /newapp, so I am not sure why it is reading the web.config from / at all. It is set as it's own application. I am testing this in IIS6 on XP Pro, so not sure if that makes a difference. The Main App is dotnet 1.1, and New App is 3.0.
