  • NHibernate : restore session connection after session lost

    - by Catalin DICU
    I'm using NHibernate with SQL Server 2005 in a WPF client application. If I stop the SQL Server service and then restart it the session doesn't automatically reconnect. So far I'm doing this witch seems to work : try { using (ITransaction transaction = this.Session.BeginTransaction()) { // some select here } }catch(Exception ex) { if(this.Session.Connection.State == ConnectionState.Closed) { try { this.Session.Connection.Open(); } catch (Exception) { } } } Is there a better way ?

  • SVN on Team Foundation Server - Delphi 2010

    - by BahaiResearch.com
    We're looking to upgrade to Delphi 2010 and have Team Foundation Server as our source Control. Is there a plug in for TFS that allows clients to talk to it via SVN? I noticed that CodePlex, Microsoft's open source web service, supports TFS and SVN so am hoping that there is a SVN plug in for TFS. Ian

  • Optional parameters with PHP SoapClient class on wsdl mode

    - by Maraino
    With the SoapClient class on PHP5.x and working against a SOAP web service that has optional parameters in its methods, you won't have any problem if you use the non-wsdl mode. But, at least by default, with the wsdl mode, if you don't fill all the parameters you will get an error like: SOAP-ERROR: Encoding: object hasn't 'xxx' property Is there any way to avoid that error without working with the non-wsdl mode and without filling all the parameters?

  • how to add a url cache to ASIHttpRequest

    - by smokey_the_bear
    I'm using ASIHttpRequests and an ASINetworkQueue in an iphone app to retrieve some 100k XML files and a lot of thumbnails from a web service. I'd like to cache the requests in the style of NSURLCache. ASI doesn't seem to support caching as is, and I looked at the code and it drops to C to create the requests, so inserting the NSURLCache layer seemed tricky. What's the best way to implement this?

  • JavaNullPointerException/Layout Error when working with lists and ListView on Android

    - by psyhclo
    Hey, I'm trying to implement a ListView on Android, which will print the data retrieved from the SQLite Database. So I want to retrieve a lot of columns from the table and add this to a list, so I will print this list as a ListView. For this I created a method that will select all the columns from the table in a separate class, and I will print the ListView in a ListActivity. I want to retrieve 6 columns of the table, which is represented by the ids 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9. But it shows a lot of errors: 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): FATAL EXCEPTION: main 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): java.lang.NullPointerException 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ArrayAdapter.createViewFromResource(ArrayAdapter.java:355) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ArrayAdapter.getView(ArrayAdapter.java:323) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.AbsListView.obtainView(AbsListView.java:1418) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ListView.makeAndAddView(ListView.java:1745) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ListView.fillDown(ListView.java:670) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ListView.fillFromTop(ListView.java:727) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.ListView.layoutChildren(ListView.java:1598) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.AbsListView.onLayout(AbsListView.java:1248) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.setChildFrame(LinearLayout.java:1254) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.layoutVertical(LinearLayout.java:1130) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.onLayout(LinearLayout.java:1047) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.setChildFrame(LinearLayout.java:1254) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.layoutVertical(LinearLayout.java:1130) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.LinearLayout.onLayout(LinearLayout.java:1047) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.widget.FrameLayout.onLayout(FrameLayout.java:338) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.View.layout(View.java:7175) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.ViewRoot.performTraversals(ViewRoot.java:1140) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.view.ViewRoot.handleMessage(ViewRoot.java:1859) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:123) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:3647) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:507) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:839) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:597) 12-24 19:19:04.066: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(22630): at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) Here is the code of the method that select the data. public List<String> selectAll() { List<String> list1 = new ArrayList<String>();   • Webservice Follow Redirect False - Error 302 (JAXWS)

    - by frappuccino
    This is a link to a question I had asked two days back, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2573858/how-to-make-a-webservice-request-follow-a-redirect I am using jaxws library. The service forms the URL, and then internally creates the HTTPURLConnection. If I can grab hold of the connection I would be able to set the followRedirect to true. But not getting a handle of the same. Its urgent, any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hi guys, I have the following schema. What I'd like to do is to retrieve all customers (and children properties) from a selected StaffAssignment by StaffId. So I've written the following query: from c in ObjectContext.Customers.Include("Assignments.Activities") from a in c.Assignments from sa in a.StaffAssignments where sa.StaffId == staffId select c But children properties aren't loaded (I added the [Include] in service metadata file as well). What did I do wrong? Gtz, Stéphane.

    Hi, I am new to WCF and trying to create a WCF client. I created a project in VS 2008 and added the reference of WCF web service and it generated the WSDL,configuration.svcinfo and other relevant files. Now i would like to know how to create the client certificates based on these available files? In the .svcinfo file, i see that there are multiple bindings (wsHttpBinding) and multiple endpoints. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

  • Apache Commons FileUpload Does not behave like expected

    - by Harry Pham
    I just want to assure you guys that before I post this, I have read couple of similar post but none solved my problem. So here it is. I use Ajax taglib for my form since it wont refresh my screen <%@ taglib uri="WEB-INF/taglib.tld" prefix="a" %> <a:AjaxUpload action="UploadServlet"> <input type="file"> <input type="submit" value="Upload"> </a:AjaxUpload> If this is in any confused you guys, then you can think of the above code will create these form, but send request asynchronously. <form action="UploadServlet" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post"> <input type="file"> <input type="submit"> </form> My first question is, if I add name="file" inside the <input> to make it become like this, <input type="file" name="file">, my servlet will throw an exception. It wont if I take it out. Here is the exception: SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet UploadServlet threw exception javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet execution threw an exception at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:313) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke(StandardWrapperValve.java:233) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContextValve.invoke(StandardContextValve.java:191) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve.invoke(StandardHostValve.java:127) at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:102) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngineValve.invoke(StandardEngineValve.java:109) at org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:298) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.process(Http11Processor.java:852) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol$Http11ConnectionHandler.process(Http11Protocol.java:588) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:489) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:637) My second question is: On the server side, I check the request to see if it is isMultipartContent, and it is. But then when I parseRequest() and store into List<FileItem> items, the items.size() is 0. Here is my Servlet code FileItemFactory factory = new DiskFileItemFactory(); ServletFileUpload upload = new ServletFileUpload(factory); List<FileItem> items = null; if(request.getContentType() != null && request.getContentType().toLowerCase().indexOf("multipart/form-data") > -1){ if(upload.isMultipartContent(request)){ items = upload.parseRequest(request); //It got to here, but items.size is 0. why????????????? } }

  • ASP.NET web application can't find an assembly

    - by Charlie Somerville
    I deployed an ASP.NET web application last night and I when I woke up this morning it was very slow and would occasionally just throw a 'Service Unavailable' error. I checked the Event Viewer and it was filled up with these errors: I'm puzzled as it was working perfectly when I deployed it (MonoTorrent is required to retrieve the number of seeders/leechers for a certain torrent off the tracker - this was working fine), but it's no longer working and whenever code that uses MonoTorrent gets involved, the worker process just crashes. MonoTorrent.dll is in the /bin/ directory.

    Hi, I am getting the error: This service instance was suspended by a BizTalk administrator. However I didn't force a suspense and it's on my local machine. I get this message all the time with every item i input. The thing is I changed a line in assembly which was a small translation, however this couldn't possibly be the cause. So I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before and what they did to fix this. Thx
