  • Looping Redirect with PyFacebook and Google App Engine

    - by Nick Gotch
    I have a Python Facebook project hosted on Google App Engine and use the following code to handle initialization of the Facebook API using PyFacebook. # Facebook Initialization def initialize_facebook(f): # Redirection handler def redirect(self, url): logger.info('Redirecting the user to: ' + url) self.response.headers.add_header("Cache-Control", "max-age=0") self.response.headers.add_header("Pragma", "no-cache") self.response.out.write('<html><head><script>parent.location.replace(\'' + url + '\');</script></head></html>') return 'Moved temporarily' auth_token = request.params.get('auth_token', None) fbapi = Facebook(settings['FACEBOOK_API_KEY'], settings['FACEBOOK_SECRET_KEY'], auth_token=auth_token) if not fbapi: logger.error('Facebook failed to initialize') if fbapi.check_session(request) or auth_token: pass else: logger.info('User not logged into Facebook') return lambda a: redirect(a, fbapi.get_login_url()) if fbapi.added: pass else: logger.info('User does not have ' + settings['FACEBOOK_APP_NAME'] + ' added') return lambda a: redirect(a, fbapi.get_add_url()) # Return the validated API logger.info('Facebook successfully initialized') return lambda a: f(a, fbapi=fbapi) I'm trying to set it up so that I can drop this decorator on any page handler method and verify that the user has everything set up correctly. The issue is that when the redirect handler gets called, it starts an infinite loop of redirection. I tried using an HTTP 302 redirection in place of the JavaScript but that kept failing too. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I saw this similar question but there are no answers.

  • SQL Server slow in production environment

    - by Lieven Cardoen
    I have a weird problem in a customer's production environment. I can't give any details on the infrastructure, except that SQL server runs on a virtual server. The data, log and filestream file are on another storage server (data and filestream together and log on a separate server). In our local Test environment, there's one particular query that executes with these durations: first we clear the cache 300ms (First time it takes longer, but from then on it's cached.) 20ms 15ms 17ms In the customer's production environment, the SQL Server is more powerful, these are the durations (I didn't have the rights to clear the cache. Will try this tomorrow). 2500ms 2600ms 2400ms The servers in the customer's production environment are more powerful but they do have virtual servers (we don't). What could be the cause... Not enough memory? Fragmentation? Physical storage? How would you tackle this performance problem? EDIT: Some people have asked me if the data set is equal and it is. I restored their database on our environment. It's true that this was the first thing I looked at. (@Everyone: I added the edit because it will be the first thing that many will think off).

  • Using HttpClient with the RightScale API

    - by Ameer Deen
    I'm trying to use the WCF Rest Starter Kit with the RightScale's Login API which seems fairly simple to use. Edit - Here's a blog entry I wrote on using Powershell to consume the API. Edit - Created a generic .NET wrapper for the RightScale API - NRightAPI It's exactly as simple as it looks while using CURL. In order for me to obtain a login cookie all I need to do is: curl -v -c rightcookie -u username:password "https://my.rightscale.com/api/acct/accountid/login?api_version=1.0" And I receive the following cookie: HTTP/1.1 204 No Content Date: Fri, 25 Dec 2009 12:29:24 GMT Server: Mongrel 1.1.3 Status: 204 No Content X-Runtime: 0.06121 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 0 Cache-Control: no-cache Added cookie _session_id="488a8d9493579b9473fbcfb94b3a7b8e5e3" for domain my.rightscale.com, path /, expire 0 Set-Cookie: _session_id=488a8d9493579b9473fbcfb94b3a7b8e5e3; path=/; secure Vary: Accept-Encoding However, when I use the following C# code: HttpClient http = new HttpClient("https://my.rightscale.com/api/accountid/login?api_version=1.0"); http.TransportSettings.UseDefaultCredentials = false; http.TransportSettings.MaximumAutomaticRedirections = 0; http.TransportSettings.Credentials = new NetworkCredential("username", "password"); Console.WriteLine(http.Get().Content.ReadAsString()); Instead of a HTTP 204, I get a redirect: You are being <a> href="https://my.rightscale.com/dashboard"redirected <a> How do I get the WCF REST starter kit working with the RighScale API ?

  • Schedule multiple events with NSTimer?

    - by AWright4911
    I have a schedule cache stored in a pList. For the example below, I have a schedule time of April 13, 2010 2:00PM and Aril 13, 2010 2:05PM. How can I add both of these to a queue to fire on their own? item 0 -Hour --14 -Minute --00 -Month --04 -Day --13 -Year --2010 item 1 -Hour --14 -Minute --05 -Month --04 -Day --13 -Year --2010 this is how I am attempting to schedule multiple events to fire at specific date / time. -(void) buildScheduleCache { MPNotifyViewController *notifier = [MPNotifyViewController alloc] ; [notifier setStatusText:@"Rebuilding schedule cache, this will only take a moment."]; [notifier show]; NSCalendarDate *now = [NSCalendarDate calendarDate]; NSFileManager *manager = [[NSFileManager defaultManager] autorelease]; path = @"/var/mobile/Library/MobileProfiles/Custom Profiles"; theProfiles = [manager directoryContentsAtPath:path]; myPrimaryinfo = [[NSMutableArray arrayWithCapacity:6] retain]; keys = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"Profile",@"MPSYear",@"MPSMonth",@"MPSDay",@"MPSHour",@"MPSMinute",nil]; for (NSString *profile in theProfiles) { plistDict = [[[NSMutableDictionary alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@/%@",path,profile]] autorelease]; [myPrimaryinfo addObject:[NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjects: [NSArray arrayWithObjects: [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",profile], [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSYear"]], [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSMonth"]], [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSDay"]], [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSHour"]], [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@",[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSMinute"]], nil]forKeys:keys]]; profileSched = [NSCalendarDate dateWithYear:[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSYear"] month:[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSMonth"] day:[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSDay"] hour:[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSHour"] minute:[plistDict objectForKey:@"MPSMinute"] second:01 timeZone:[now timeZone]]; [self rescheduleTimer]; } NSString *testPath = @"/var/mobile/Library/MobileProfiles/Schedules.plist"; [myPrimaryinfo writeToFile:testPath atomically:YES]; } -(void) rescheduleTimer { timer = [[NSTimer alloc] initWithFireDate:profileSched interval:0.0f target:self selector:@selector(theFireEvent) userInfo:nil repeats:YES]; NSRunLoop *runLoop = [NSRunLoop currentRunLoop]; [runLoop addTimer:timer forMode:NSDefaultRunLoopMode]; }

  • Looking for a workaround for IE 6/7 "Unspecified Error" bug when accessing offsetParent; using ASP.N

    - by CodeChef
    I'm using jQuery UI's draggable and droppable libraries in a simple ASP.NET proof of concept application. This page uses the ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel to do partial page updates. The page allows a user to drop an item into a trashcan div, which will invoke a postback that deletes a record from the database, then rebinds the list (and other controls) that the item was drug from. All of these elements (the draggable items and the trashcan div) are inside an ASP.NET UpdatePanel. Here is the dragging and dropping initialization script: function initDragging() { $(".person").draggable({helper:'clone'}); $("#trashcan").droppable({ accept: '.person', tolerance: 'pointer', hoverClass: 'trashcan-hover', activeClass: 'trashcan-active', drop: onTrashCanned }); } $(document).ready(function(){ initDragging(); var prm = Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance(); prm.add_endRequest(function() { initDragging(); }); }); function onTrashCanned(e,ui) { var id = $('input[id$=hidID]', ui.draggable).val(); if (id != undefined) { $('#hidTrashcanID').val(id); __doPostBack('btnTrashcan',''); } } When the page posts back, partially updating the UpdatePanel's content, I rebind the draggables and droppables. When I then grab a draggable with my cursor, I get an "htmlfile: Unspecified error." exception. I can resolve this problem in the jQuery library by replacing elem.offsetParent with calls to this function that I wrote: function IESafeOffsetParent(elem) { try { return elem.offsetParent; } catch(e) { return document.body; } } I also have to avoid calls to elem.getBoundingClientRect() as it throws the same error. For those interested, I only had to make these changes in the jQuery.fn.offset function in the Dimensions Plugin. My questions are: Although this works, are there better ways (cleaner; better performance; without having to modify the jQuery library) to solve this problem? If not, what's the best way to manage keeping my changes in sync when I update the jQuery libraries in the future? For, example can I extend the library somewhere other than just inline in the files that I download from the jQuery website. Update: @some It's not publicly accessible, but I will see if SO will let me post the relevant code into this answer. Just create an ASP.NET Web Application (name it DragAndDrop) and create these files. Don't forget to set Complex.aspx as your start page. You'll also need to download the jQuery UI drag and drop plug in as well as jQuery core Complex.aspx <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Complex.aspx.cs" Inherits="DragAndDrop.Complex" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head runat="server"> <title>Untitled Page</title> <script src="jquery-1.2.6.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="jquery-ui-personalized-1.5.3.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> function initDragging() { $(".person").draggable({helper:'clone'}); • CSS Caching and User-CUstomized CSS - Any Suggestions?

    - by Joe
    I'm just trying to figure out the best approach here... my consideration is that I'd like my users to be able to customize the colors of certain elements on the page. These are not pre-made css they can choose from, but rather styles that can be edited using javascript to change the style, so they cannot be "pre-made" into separate style sheets. I am also generating the css into a cache directory since I am generating the css through a PHP script. I am thinking that, perhaps I should: 1) If cached css file doesn't exist, create css file using the website default style settings. 2) If cached css file does exist, check if user has custom settings, if so, edit the cache file before displaying it. Btw, when I refer to "cached file" I mean the PHP generated css document. My goal is to prevent the need to have PHP re-generate the css file each time, whilst still allowing users, when logged in, to have their customized css settings applied. I will store these settings in a database most likely so when they return it is saved for them when they login.

  • Rotate and Save Image - C#

    - by Taylor
    Hello, I'm trying to rotate and save an image, along with returning a BitmapSource. I pass in the rotation value (90 or -90) and the full path to the image I want to rotate to the method shown here. It works fine if I start and stop my application between calling this method. however, if the application calls rotate multiple times the rotate only happens once. I know the original image must be cached in memory, because if I pass values 90, 180, 270 I see the rotations work. I want to be able to pass in a value of 90 or -90 and have that rotate and save the original image. How can I make the rotate work for each call? Is there a way to clear the cached value of the image? If I don't set the BitmapCacheOption to OnLoad, I am unable to transform and save the image since the image is "being used by another process". public BitmapImage Rotate(int val, string path) { //create a new image from existing file. Image image = new Image(); BitmapImage logo = new BitmapImage(); logo.BeginInit(); logo.CacheOption = BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad; logo.UriSource = new Uri(path); logo.EndInit(); image.Source = logo; BitmapSource img = (BitmapSource)(image.Source); //rotate image and save CachedBitmap cache = new CachedBitmap(img, BitmapCreateOptions.None, BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad); TransformedBitmap tb = new TransformedBitmap(cache, new RotateTransform(val)); TiffBitmapEncoder encoder = new TiffBitmapEncoder(); encoder.Frames.Add(BitmapFrame.Create(tb)); using (FileStream file = File.OpenWrite(path)) { encoder.Save(file); } //update page view BitmapImage bi = new BitmapImage(); bi.BeginInit(); bi.CacheOption = BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad; bi.UriSource = new Uri(path); bi.EndInit(); return bi; }

  • creating objects in list

    List myList = new List { new Users{ Name="Kumar", Gender="M", Age=75, Parent="All"}, new Users{ Name="Suresh",Gender="M", Age=50, Parent="Kumar"}, new Users{ Name="Bennette", Gender="F",Age=45, Parent="Kumar"}, new Users{ Name="kian", Gender="M",Age=20, Parent="Suresh"}, new Users{ Name="Nathani", Gender="M",Age=15, Parent="Suresh"}, new Users{ Name="Peter", Gender="M",Age=90, Parent="All"}, new Users{ Name="Mica", Age=56, Gender="M",Parent="Peter"}, new Users{ Name="Linderman", Gender="M",Age=51, Parent="Peter"}, new Users{ Name="john", Age=25, Gender="M",Parent="Mica"}, new Users{ Name="tom", Gender="M",Age=21, Parent="Mica"}, new Users{ Name="Ando", Age=64, Gender="M",Parent="All"}, new Users{ Name="Maya", Age=24, Gender="M",Parent="Ando"}, new Users{ Name="Niki Sanders", Gender="F",Age=2, Parent="Maya"}, new Users{ Name="Angela Patrelli", Gender="F",Age=3, Parent="Maya"}, }; now i need to format the data like here i need to check the parent based on the parent i will be creating objects under the parent objects now { Name="Kumar", Gender="M", Age=75, Parent="All" } this is the top level as a property Parent ="all" now under parent object kumar here we again create a new object to store these information under object(kumar who is the parent) new Users{ Name="Suresh",Gender="M", Age=50, Parent="Kumar"}, new Users{ Name="Bennette", Gender="F",Age=45, Parent="Kumar"}, what i need to do here is i need to check the parent based on the parent create further objects under it ex: i need to achive like this. looking for the syntax how i can do it. public class SampleProjectData { public static ObservableCollection<Product> GetSampleData() { DateTime dtS = DateTime.Now;   • How to set up RPX widget and facebook app to be able to authenticate with rpx_now?

    - by Andrei
    Using the sample app for rpx_now gem ( http://github.com/grosser/rpx_now_example) on localhost:3000, I have successfully logged in via Google Accounts, myOpenID, Yahoo, but cannot make it via Facebook. In the RPX app/widget settings I have set my facebook-app key and secret. In my facebook app settings, the Connect URL is myappname.rpxnow.com. But when I try to connect, then I don't even see a facebook login page, just a number of redirects and I am back to my localhost with the following exception http://gist.github.com/386520 . Before I was successfully connecting with oauth2 gem, however, without fetching user data - only authentication. That time I set only key/secret and localhost as my Connect URL. Currently, I don't even ask for email etc., but still the same problem. Can it happen because rpx_now cannot get requested user data from facebook? Or it is a problem of facebook key/secret? May be I need to provide more settings of my facebook app? Hi, I have small web app that generate PDF files as a report. I'm trying to delete those generated PDF files after 10 sec that they are generated. What I want to do is to read a folder with PDF files every 10 sec, and delete all the PDF files inside that folder. I read this post of Easy Background Tasks in ASP.NET. The following code is the VB version. Protected Sub Application_Start(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) AddTask("DoStuff", 10) End Sub Private Sub AddTask(ByVal name As String, ByVal seconds As Integer) OnCacheRemove = New CacheItemRemovedCallback(CacheItemRemoved) HttpRuntime.Cache.Insert(name, seconds, Nothing, DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(seconds), Cache.NoSlidingExpiration, CacheItemPriority.NotRemovable, _ OnCacheRemove) End Sub Public Sub CacheItemRemoved(ByVal k As String, ByVal v As Object, ByVal r As CacheItemRemovedReason) ' do stuff here if it matches our taskname, like WebRequest DeletePDFilesInFoler() ' re-add our task so it recurs AddTask(k, Convert.ToInt32(v)) End Sub But I got this error Delegate 'System.Web.Caching.CacheItemRemovedCallback' requires an 'AddressOf' expression or lambda expression as the only argument to its constructor. If this code works, where I should put it. Right, now I'm putting it in the master page. How to get this error out? Thank you

  • Android: How to get a custom view to redraw partially?

    - by Peterdk
    I have a custom view that fills my entire screen. (A piano keyboard) When a user touches the key, it would cause a invalidate() to be called and the whole keyboard gets redrawn to show the new state with a touched key. Currently the view is very simple, but I plan to add a bit more nice graphics. Since the whole keyboard is dynamically rendered this would make redrawing the entire keyboard more expensive. So I thought, let's look into partial redrawing. Now I call invalidate(Rect dirty) with the correct dirty region. I set my onDraw(Canvas canvas) method to only draw the keys in the dirty region if I do indeed want a partial redraw. This results in those keys being drawn, but the rest of the keyboard is totally black/not drawn at all. Am I wrong in expecting that calling invalidate(Rect dirty) would "cache" the current canvas, and only "allows" drawing in the dirty region? Is there any way I can achieve what I want? (A way to "cache" the canvas and only redraw the dirty area?"

  • Modify coverflow component ,add backview ?

    - by hib
    Hi all , I am developing an iPhone application in which I needs to implement a Coverflow component. I got a good library from here It is working nicely . Now I want to show a different back view with 6 buttons when a user double taps on the image in the coverflow . For that the tapkulibrary author has implemented a delegate method called which is : - (void) coverflowView:(TKCoverflowView*)coverflowView coverAtIndexWasDoubleTapped:(int)index{ TKCoverView *cover = [coverflowView coverAtIndex:index]; //if(cover == nil) return; // [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:nil]; // [UIView setAnimationDuration:1]; // [UIView setAnimationTransition:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromLeft forView:cover cache:YES]; // [UIView commitAnimations]; *********************MY BACK View ******************************* UIView *c; NSArray *array = [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"TestMine" owner:nil options:nil]; c = [array objectAtIndex:0]; [cover addSubview:c]; [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:1.0]; [UIView setAnimationTransition:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromLeft forView:cover cache:YES]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:1.0]; CGAffineTransform transform = CGAffineTransformMakeScale(1.2, 1.2); cover.transform = transform; [UIView commitAnimations]; NSLog(@"Index: %d",index); } I am not much aware about the drawing code used in this example my back view is not working perfectly . So can anyone modify me this method or code to push my back view when double tapping the image and again double tapping shows the real image again . I need help .

  • Is using a StringBuilder for writing XML ok?

    - by Jack Lawson
    It feels dirty. But maybe it isn't... is it ok to use a StringBuilder for writing XML? My gut instinct says "although this feels wrong, it's probably pretty darn performant because it's not loading extra libraries and overhead." Here's what it looks like. I'm building an OpenSearch XML doc based on the domain you come in from. public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { context.Response.ContentType = "text/xml"; string domain = WebUtils.ReturnParsedSourceUrl(null); //returns something like www.sample.com string cachedChan = context.Cache[domain + "_opensearchdescription"] as String; if (cachedChan == null) { StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); sb.Append("<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>"); sb.Append("<OpenSearchDescription xmlns=\"http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/\" xmlns:moz=\"http://www.mozilla.org/2006/browser/search/\">"); sb.Append(" <ShortName>Search</ShortName>"); sb.Append(" <Description>Use " + domain + " to search.</Description>"); sb.Append(" <Contact>[email protected]</Contact>"); sb.Append(" <Url type=\"text/html\" method=\"get\" template=\"http://" + domain + "/Search.aspx?q={searchTerms}\" />"); sb.Append(" <moz:SearchForm>http://" + domain + "/Search.aspx</moz:SearchForm>"); sb.Append(" <Image height=\"16\" width=\"16\" type=\"image/x-icon\">http://" + domain + "/favicon.ico</Image>"); sb.Append("</OpenSearchDescription>"); cachedChan = sb.ToString(); context.Cache.Insert(domain + "_opensearchdescription", cachedChan, null, DateTime.Now.AddDays(14), TimeSpan.Zero); } context.Response.Write(cachedChan); }

  • Clustering on WebLogic exception on Failover

  • VB.Net Validate an xml against a schema (strange problem)

    - by Apeksha
    I have written a small XML validator, that takes in an XML file and an XML schema and validates the XML files against that schema. It works well, except for an XML file, with this content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xc:program xmlns:xc="http:\\www.something.com\Schema\XC10" xc:version="4.0.22.0" > <xc:namespaceDecls> <xc:namespaceDecl xc:namespaceDeclURI="urn:swift:xsd:abc"> <xc:namespaceDeclPrefix>n</xc:namespaceDeclPrefix> </xc:namespaceDecl> </xc:namespaceDecls> </xc:program> I tried to validate this XML file against a bunch of different schemas. No matter which schema I select, this XML file comes out as valid. What is it that I am missing? Here is the relevant piece of code: 'Create a schema cache and add the given schema to it. Dim schemaCache As New Schema.XmlSchemaSet schemaCache.Add(targetNamespace, schemaFilename) 'Create an XML DOMDocument object. Dim xmlDom As New XmlDocument 'Assign the schema cache to the DOM document. 'schemas collection. xmlDom.Schemas = schemaCache 'Load selected file as the DOM document. xmlDom.Load(xmlFilename) xmlDom.Validate(AddressOf ValidationCallBack)

  • perl issuing os command with defined variables

    - by Vinnie Biros
    I am adding functionality into my scripts so that they can use kerberos authentication to run automatically and use secure protocols when executing. I have my functionality working for shell scripts that do exactly what i want, however i am having issues porting it to perl to work within my perl scripts as i am new to perl. Here is my working shell code and trying to get the same functionality in perl: #!/bin/sh ticketFileName=`basename $0-$$` #set filename variable to name of script plus the PID krb5CacheLocation=/tmp/$ticketFileName #set ticket cache location to /tmp + script name /usr/share/centrifydc/kerberos/bin/kinit -c $krb5CacheLocation -kt /root/.ssh/someaccount.keytab someaccount #get TGT and specifiy ticket cache location on kinit export KRB5CCNAME=$krb5CacheLocation #set the KRB5CCNAME variable to tell ssh where to look What i have attempted in perl: #!/usr/bin/perl my $ticketFileName = `basename $0-$$`; my $krb5CacheLocation = '/tmp/'.$ticketFileName; `export KRB5CCNAME=$krb5CacheLocation`; `/usr/share/centrifydc/kerberos/bin/kinit -c $krb5CacheLocation -kt /root/.ssh/unixmap0000.keytab unixmap0000`; Seems it is not liking the passed variable that i am referencing in the OS command. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

  • one page has more than one url. search engines give penalty please help me out.

    - by Ali Demirtas
    Hi I am using prestashop as the cart for my website. I have a problem; the website used to be in dynamic urls. I enabled friendly url writing. The problem is that one page has more than one url. You can access a same page from the dynamic url and static url. In fact a single page has 9 different urls. This obviously creates problems for seo as search engiones penalize my website for this. What can I do to solve this problem? I have no knowledge of programming. Here is the htaccess for the website. Any sample code or help is really appreciated. • has_many, belongs_to and comment forms

    - by Koning Baard XIV
    I'm having two models: Snippet and SnippetComment. These also have their own controllers, as well as views. In /app/views/snippets/show.html.erb I have a form that starts like this: <% form_for(@new_snippet_comment) do |form| %> SnippetComment belongs to one Snippet, and a Snippet belongs to one User. This means that I have this routing: map.resources :users do |user| user.resources :snippets do |snippet| snippet.resources :snippet_comments, :as => "comments" end end So when I submit the SnippetComment form in the SnippetController#show view, this request should be made: POST /users/x/snippets/x/comments HTTP/1.1 (where x is the User's or Snippet's id). The problem is that I don't even get the comment submission form, but rahter this: NoMethodError in Snippets#show Showing app/views/snippets/show.html.erb where line #29 raised: undefined method `snippet_comments_path' for Extracted source (around line #29): 26: <% if current_user %> 27: <h2>Schrijf een nieuwe reactie</h2> 28: 29: <% form_for(@new_snippet_comment) do |form| %> 30: 31: <p> 32: <%= form.text_area :body %> RAILS_ROOT: /Users/jeffatwood/Dev/youjustdontneedmyrealname Application Trace | Framework Trace | Full Trace /Users/jeffatwood/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/actionpack-2.3.5/lib/action_controller/polymorphic_routes.rb:107:in `__send__' /Users/jeffatwood/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/actionpack-2.3.5/lib/action_controller/polymorphic_routes.rb:107:in `polymorphic_url' /Users/jeffatwood/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/actionpack-2.3.5/lib/action_controller/polymorphic_routes.rb:114:in `polymorphic_path' /Users/jeffatwood/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/actionpack-2.3.5/lib/action_view/helpers/form_helper.rb:298:in `apply_form_for_options!' /Users/jeffatwood/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/actionpack-2.3.5/lib/action_view/helpers/form_helper.rb:277:in `form_for' /Users/jeffatwood/Dev/youjustdontneedmyrealname/app/views/snippets/show.html.erb:29:in `_run_erb_app47views47snippets47show46html46erb' /Users/jeffatwood/Dev/youjustdontneedmyrealname/app/controllers/snippets_controller.rb:19:in `show' Request Parameters: {"id"=>"1", "user_id"=>"2"} Show session dump Response Headers: {"Content-Type"=>"text/html", "Cache-Control"=>"no-cache"} Can anyone help me with this problem? • Make WebStart Java desktop application to start on system startup on Windows and Mac

    - by parxier
    I developed small cross-platform (Windows and Mac) SWT desktop application. It is distributed with WebStart. So far so good, everything works. I've got a new requirement to make my app start on system startup (with no user interaction). What is the best way to accomplish that? In JNLP file I've got this: <shortcut online="false"> <desktop/> <menu submenu="CompanyName"/> </shortcut> On Windows WebStart creates a desktop link [app_name].lnk and it points to javaws.exe and then some Java cache file as a parameter with funny name like ..\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\4\2c0a6a781-213476. I can possibly programmatically find that link on user's machine by name... erm... and then copy it into user's Startup folder. I can see a problem here though as user can disable WebStart desktop shortcut creation option all together. On Mac WebStart pops up a dialog to prompt user for the location where to create an [app_name].app (user is allowed to change link name there!) file that launches an application. On Mac I don't event know where the Startup folder is located (and it seems to be much more complex there). Is there Java library out there that abstracts start app on system startup concept on different platforms as SWT does for GUI abstraction?

  • Turning off hibernate logging console output

    - by Jared
    I'm using hibernate 3 and want to stop it from dumping all the startup messages to the console. I tried commenting out the stdout lines in log4j.properties but no luck. I've pasted my log file below. Also I'm using eclipse with the standard project structure and have a copy of log4j.properties in both the root of the project folder and the bin folder. ### direct log messages to stdout ### #log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender #log4j.appender.stdout.Target=System.out #log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout #log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{ABSOLUTE} %5p %c{1}:%L - %m%n ### direct messages to file hibernate.log ### log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender log4j.appender.file.File=hibernate.log log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{ABSOLUTE} %5p %c{1}:%L - %m%n ### set log levels - for more verbose logging change 'info' to 'debug' ### log4j.rootLogger=warn, stdout #log4j.logger.org.hibernate=info log4j.logger.org.hibernate=debug ### log HQL query parser activity #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.hql.ast.AST=debug ### log just the SQL #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.SQL=debug ### log JDBC bind parameters ### log4j.logger.org.hibernate.type=info #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.type=debug ### log schema export/update ### log4j.logger.org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl=debug ### log HQL parse trees #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.hql=debug ### log cache activity ### #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.cache=debug ### log transaction activity #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.transaction=debug ### log JDBC resource acquisition #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.jdbc=debug ### enable the following line if you want to track down connection ### ### leakages when using DriverManagerConnectionProvider ### #log4j.logger.org.hibernate.connection.DriverManagerConnectionProvider=trac5

  • starting and stopping hsqldb from unit tests

    - by Casey
    I'm trying to create integration tests using hsqldb in an in memory mode. At the moment, I have to start the hsqldb server from the command line before running the unit tests. I would like to be able to be able to control the hsqldb server from my integration tests. I can't seem to get this to all work out though from code. Thanks, Casey Update: This appears to work along with having a hibernate.cfg.xml file in the classpath: org.hsqldb.Server.main(new String[]{}); and in my hibernate.cfg.xml file: <property name="connection.driver_class">org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver</property> <property name="connection.url">jdbc:hsqldb:mem:ww</property> <property name="connection.username">sa</property> <property name="connection.password"></property> <property name="connection.pool_size">1</property> <property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.HSQLDialect</property> <property name="current_session_context_class">thread</property> <property name="cache.provider_class">org.hibernate.cache.NoCacheProvider</property> <property name="hbm2ddl.auto">update</property>

  • How reliable is DateTime.Utc in Silverlight applications?

    - by Edward Tanguay
    I have a silverlight application which users will be running in various time zones. The applications load their data from the server at one time, then cache it in IsolatedStorage. When I make changes to the data on the server, I want to be able to change the "last updated time" so that all applications download the newest data the next time they check this date. However, I'm a bit confused as to how to handle the time zone issue since a if the server is in New York and the update time is set to 2010-01-01 17:00:00 and a client in Seattle checks compares it to its local time of 2010-01-01 14:00:00 it won't update and will continue to provide old data for three more hours. My solution is to always post the update time in UTC time, not with the time on the server, then make the Silverlight app check with DateTime.UtcNow. Is this as easy as it sounds or are their issues with this, e.g. that timezones are not set correctly on computers and hence the SilverlightApp does not report the correct UTC time. Can anyone say from experience how likely it is that using DateTime.UtcNow like this for cache refreshing will work in all cases? If DateTime.UtcNow is not reliable, I will just use an incremented "DataVersion" integer but there are other scenarios in which getting time zone sychronization down would make it useful thoroughly understand how to solve this in silverlight apps.

  • Offline iOS web app: loads my manifest, but doesn't work offline

    - by Ken
    I'm writing a web app to be used offline on iOS. I've created a manifest, am serving it up as text/cache-manifest, and it usually works fine, when running inside Safari. If I add it as an app to my home screen, then turn on Airplane mode, it can't open the app at all -- I get an error and it offers to close the app. (I thought this was the entire purpose of an offline app!) When I load the app a first time when online, I can see in my logs that it's requesting every page listed in the manifest. If I turn off Airplane mode, and load the app, I can see the first file it's requesting is my main.html file (which is both listed in the manifest, and has the manifest=... attribute). It then requests the manifest, and all my other files, getting 200's for all (and 304's for anything requested a second time during this load). When I load the page in Chrome, and click around, the logs show the only thing it's trying to reach on the server is "/favicon.ico" (which is a 404, and which I don't think iOS Safari tries to load, anyway). All of the files listed in the manifest are valid and served without error. The Chrome inspector lists, under "APPLICATION CACHE", all the cached files I've listed which I expect. The entire set of files is about 50 KB, way under any limit on offline resources that I've found. Is this supposed to work, i.e., am I supposed to be able to create an offline iOS app using only HTML/CSS/JS? And where do I go about figuring out why it's failing to work offline? (Related but doesn't sound quite the same to me, since it's about Safari and not a standalone app: "Can't get a web app to work offline on iPod")
