• UIButton: Need a circle hit area

  Ok I have 6 custom UIButtons. Their normal state image are all circles images. They are all spaced out equally but all the circles touch each other. The problem with the custom UIbutton (which has a circle image on it), is that the hit area of that button is square, and the corners of this square overlaps the hitarea of the other custom button's hitarea. How do i make the hit area of a UIbutton whos normal state has a circle image, be only clickable on that circle only, rather than the normal square hit area?!   I have a C# custom ASP.Net MembershipProvider. When the user attempts to navigate to another part of the site after IIS is restarted, it doesn't navigate to the login page to collect credentials, but instead attempts to authenticate with empty credentials. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to identify that the new authentication needs to take place and that new creds need to be gathered? I have a complementary custom IHttpModule implementation that allows me to intercept events like BeginRequest and AuthenticateRequest, if that helps.

  I have a UITableView with a custom background image set like this: self.tableView.backgroundColor = [UIColor colorWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"mybg.png"]]; The background appears fine, but my UITableViewCells (default cells, not custom) have some sort of weird tint to them, and the UILabel containing the "New Project" text also seems to have some sort of background behind it.   I would make to make a small WYSIWYG editor similar to the one used by StackOverflow. Basically, it would have buttons like [quote], and when that button is clicked, [quote] [/quote] should be inserted in the textarea where the cursor is or at the end of all other text. If the [quote][/quote] could be highlighted in some way that would be even more excellent, but its not required. Is there any WYSIWYG editor already available where you can add custom buttons, with custom text being added to the textbox as a result?
