  I am a little lost on erros like that: Warning 7 CA2123 : Microsoft.Security : Add the following security attribute to 'RithmicConnector::Connect(String^)' in order to match a LinkDemand on base method 'IConnector::Connect(String^)': 'SecurityCriticalAttribute'. c:\work\nettecture\tradex\source\tradex.connectivity.rithmic\rithmicconnector.cpp 52 Tradex.Connectivity.Rithmic Where do I add the SecurityCriticalAttribute? I tried on the header file - but the error does not disappear. I have one of those pretty much on every exposed method of a (managed C++) interface DLL. And I want CA to run through. • Parsing an Open XML doc via styled blocks

  I'm working with docx docs, and I need to parse a document into sections on the basis of headings styled with the "heading 1" style. So if I had a doc like this (markup is pseudocode): <doc> <title style>Doc Title</title style> <heading1>First Section</heading1> ... <heading2>Second Section</heading2> ... <heading3>Third Section</heading3> ... </doc> I'd want to break this into a doc with four sections, the first being the content that precedes the first section. I figure that this is probably pretty simple once you're familiar with Open XML, but I am not. TIA.

  Hey guys, my doubt is pretty simple to understand. I have a sql procedure that generates a util file as its output depending on the input parameters that are passed to it. I have to pass these parameters from an html page from 3 text boxes.There will also be a button ,on clicking which, the procedure will be called and the util will be generated. I thought of doing it in jsp and writing the full procedure there itself. But i want to util file to opened in WORD the moment it is generated. I want to know how to call a procedure using button and how to show the util after its generated. Thanks guys, any help will be appreciated.

• Connecting to Google app email servers in Python to send from an alias

  I'm looking to send many emails via Python and would like to connect to Google's email servers to send it from my company email address (it's for work). I've got working code for sending the email through the old company email ([email protected]) which is our login, but can't figure out how to send it through the alias ([email protected]) we use frequently. Long story short, logging in with my regular Google Apps account won't do and I need to sign in with an alias (nickname) instead. Alternatively, I can sign with the regular account ([email protected]) but send via a different email ([email protected]). Working in python and pretty new to programming, but am a good listener! (It's like this question: Google Apps - Send email from a nickname but in Python).

  The documentation is pretty confusing on this one: The implementation of accessor methods you write for subclasses of NSManagedObject is typically different from those you write for other classes. If you do not provide custom instance variables, you retrieve property values from and save values into the internal store using primitive accessor methods. You must ensure that you invoke the relevant access and change notification methods (willAccessValueForKey:, didAccessValueForKey:, willChangeValueForKey:, didChangeValueForKey:, willChangeValueForKey:withSetMutation:usingObjects:, and didChangeValueForKey:withSetMutation:usingObjects:). NSManagedObject disables automatic key-value observing (KVO, see Key-Value Observing Programming Guide) change notifications, and the primitive accessor methods do not invoke the access and change notification methods. In accessor methods for properties that are not defined in the entity model, you can either enable automatic change notifications or invoke the appropriate change notification methods. Are there any examples that show how these look like?

  I'm looking for some tools for testing vim scripts. Either vim scripts that do unit/functional testing, or classes for some other library (eg Python's unittest module) that make it convenient to run vim with parameters that cause it to do some tests on its environment, and determine from the output whether or not a given test passed. I'm aware of a couple of vim scripts that do unit testing, but they're sort of vaguely documented and may or may not actually be useful: vim-unit: purports "To provide vim scripts with a simple unit testing framework and tools" first and only version (v0.1) was released in 2004 documentation doesn't mention whether or not it works reliably, other than to state that it is "fare [sic] from finished". unit-test.vim: This one also seems pretty experimental, and may not be particularly reliable. May have been abandoned or back-shelved: last commit was in 2009-11 ( 6 months ago) No tagged revisions have been created (ie no releases) So information from people who are using one of those two existent modules, and/or links to other, more clearly usable, options, are very welcome.

  Running ActiveState Perl 5.8.8 on WinXP. As the title suggests, I'd like to output an XML file as UTF-8 with UNIX line endings. I've looked at the PerlDoc for binmode, but am unsure of the exact syntax (if I'm not barking up the wrong tree). • Replicate Printed Form With Web Form

  I'm hoping people have some ideas to help solve this problem. I am developing a C# ASP.NET website and the client requires an online form that users will fill in and submit. OK, so far so good..... Imagine, say, a form that you fill in on paper - they normally have a distinctive look specific to the company and will be filed, quite possibly as a legally binding document. I need to have an online form that when submitted emails the client with something they can print out and will look exactly like their printed forms. As this is web based, I think the option of capturing a screenshot are out the question, so I'm wondering how best to approach this? Even if I just had a form that captures the data presented how I want, how could I translate this data into the view they want? Any ideas and suggestions greatly appreciated.

  I am trying to write an application for website powered by drupal, basically i would like to create an application only authenticated users are able to use, and users are only allowed to connect with members of the opposite group they are a member of. I have been learning flash builder 4 and learning the basics of actionscript but I am still pretty new to Flash and Flex development. I would like to users to connect using the Adobe Stratus 2 protocol and if possible by authentication on existing site and using membership data from existing mysql database. • Java library to partially export a database while respecting referential integrity constraints

  My production database is several GB's uncompressed and it's getting to be a pain to download and run locally when trying to reproduce a bug or test a feature with real data. I would like to be able to select the specific records that interest me, then have the library figure out what other records are necessary to produce a dataset that respects the databases integrity constraints and finally print it out as a list of insert statements or dump that I can restore. For example: given Author, Blog and Comment tables when I select comments posted after a certain date I should get inserts for the Blog records the comments have foreign keys to and the Author records those Blogs have foreign keys to.

• Calculating terrain height in 3d-space

  Hi I'm diving into 3d programming a bit and am currently learning by writing a procedural terrain generator that generates terrain based on a heightmap. I would also want to implement some physics and my first attempt at terrain collision was by simply checking the current position vs the heightmap. This however wont work well against small objects as you'd have to calculate the height by taking the heightdifference of the nearest vertices of the object and doing this every colision check is pretty slow. Beleive me I tried googling for it but there's simply so much crap and millions of blogs posting ripped-of newbie tutorials everywhere with basically no real information on the subject, I can't find anything that explains it or even names any generally used techniques. I'm not asking for code or a complete solution, but if anyone knows a particular technique good for calculating a high-res heightmap out of the already generated and smoothed terrain I would be very happy as I could look into it further when I know what I'm looking for. • What is the best way to clear the CSS style "float"?

  I'm pretty accustomed to clearing my floats by using <br style="clear:both"/> but stuff keeps on changing and I am not sure if this is the best practice. There is a CSS hack (from positioneverything) available that lets you achieve the same result without the clearing div. But... they claim the hack is a little out of date and instead you perhaps should look at this hack. But.. after reading through 700 pages of comments :) it seems there may be some places the latter hack does not work. I would like to avoid any javascript hacks cause I would like my clearing to work regardless of javascript being enabled. What is the current best practice for clearing divs in a browser independent way?

  I'm just learning JS, trying to do things without jQuery, and I want to make something similar to this however I want to use an array of images instead of just the one. My image array is formed like this var image_array = new Array() image_array[0] = "image1.jpg" image_array[1] = "image2.jpg" And the canvas element is written like this. • Why can't I store a float value - it's always zero!

  I have a view controller that is created by the app delegate - it's the first one shown in the app. In its interface I declare float lengthOfTime; I also set it as a property: @property (nonatomic) float lengthOfTime; And in it's implemetation: @synthesize lengthOfTime; In the class viewDidLoad method, I set the value: self.lengthOfTime = 3.0f; However, after this, the value is always zero. No errors, no compile warnings, nothing. Just zero. The class is instantiated, it is showing in the view, so I'm pretty sure it's not a nil reference. I've searched all over Google and can't figure it out. What's going on?!? :(
