• Proxy settings with ivy...

  Hi, I have an issue where in I have defined dependancies in ivy.xml on our internal corporate svn. I am able to access this svn site without any proxy task in ant. While my dependencies resides on ibiblio, that’s something outside our corporate, and needs proxy inorder to download something. I am facing problem using ivy here: I have following in build.xml <target name="proxy" <property name="proxy.host" value="xyz.proxy.net"/ <property name="proxy.port" value="8443"/ <setproxy proxyhost="${proxy.host}" proxyport="${proxy.port}"/ </target <!-- resolve the dependencies of stratus --> <target name="resolveTestDependency" depends="testResolve, proxy" description="retrieve test dependencies with ivy"> <ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> <ivy:retrieve conf="test" pattern="${jars}/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/><!--pattern here specifies where do you want to download lib to?--> </target> <target name=" testResolve "> <ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> <ivy:resolve conf="test" file="stratus-ivy.xml"/> </target> Following is the excerpt from stratus-ivysettings.xml <resolvers <!-- here you define your file in private machine not on the repo (e.g. jPricer.jar or edgApi.jar)-- <!-- This we will use a url nd not local file system.. -- <url name="privateFS" <ivy pattern="http://xyz.svn.com/ivyRepository/ [organisation]/ivy/ivy.xml"/ </url . . . <url name="public" m2compatible="true" <artifact pattern="http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/[organisation]/[module]/[revision]/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/ </url . . . So as can be seen here for getting ivy.xml, I don’t need any proxy as its within our own network which cant be accesses when I set proxy. But on the other hand I am using ibiblio as well which is external to our network and works only with proxy. So above build.xml wont work in that case. Can somebody help here. I don’t need proxy while getting ivy.xml (as if I have proxy, ivy wont be able to find ivy file behind proxy from within the network), and I just need it when my resolver goes to public url.

  Hi there! I have a model, smth like this: class Action(models.Model): def can_be_applied(self, user): #whatever return True and I want to override its default Manager. But I don't know how to pass the current user variable to the manager, so I have to do smth like this: [act for act in Action.objects.all() if act.can_be_applied(current_user)] How do I get rid of it by just overriding the manager? • Cancel UITouch Events When View Covered By Modal UIViewController

  Hi there, I am writing an application where the user has to move some stuff on the screen using his fingers and drop them. To do this, I am using the touchesBegan,touchesEnded... function of each view that has to be moved. The problem is that sometimes the views are covered by a view displayed using the [UIViewController presentModalViewController] function. As soon as that happens, the UIView that I was moving stops receiving the touch events, since it was covered up. But there is no event telling me that it stopped receiving the events, so I can reset the state of the moved view. The following is an example that demonstrates this. The functions are part of a UIView that is being shown in the main window. It listens to touch events and when I drag the finger for some distance, it presents a modal view that covers everything.   I schedule a timer with NSTimer's function in viewWillAppear as follows: minutesTimer = nil; minutesTimer = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:60 target:self selector:@selector(updateScrollViewItems) userInfo:NULL repeats:YES]; With this function call, I expect it to call the selector updateScrollViewItems every minute, but it does not, it update items faster than expected (around some seconds). What is the cause of this unexpected behavior?

  I have a UITableView instance variable. I want to be able to register my view controller to be the UIScrollViewDelegate for my UITableView controller. I have already tried tableView.delegate = self; But when scrolling, my methods - (void)scrollViewDidEndDecelerating:(UIScrollView *)scrollView - (void)scrollViewDidEndDragging:(UIScrollView *)scrollView willDecelerate:(BOOL)decelerate don't get called. Any suggestions?

  Is it possible to store the credentials that I use to connect to my Team Foundation Server directly in Visual Studio 2010? I would like to avoid to insert them at every VS launch. The problem is that the machine that host TFS is not in the domain and I am conneting using the credentials of a user created on that machine. Suppose that the machine name is TOOLS and the user is Marco, I need to insert every time User name: TOOLS\Marco Password: * Can you suggest a possible fix, if exists?

• Problem with Google App Engine Appstats

  I'm having an issue getting Appstats to work correctly. Using /appstats or /appstats/stats ends up in an infinite loop that keeps redirecting back to /appstats/stats. This results in a 404 error saying the page isn't redirecting properly. Any idea what the issue is? Here are the relevant lines in my appengine-web.xml. • Hosting Mecurial HG via VisualSVN Server

  I have tried to host a Mercurial HG repository using a Scriptalias. ScriptAlias /hg/ "htdocs/hgwebdir.cgi" If I go to Chrome it display the contents of the cgi file. In IE it does render however images and links are not displayed. In either case the repository I want to display is not shown. Has anyone managed to get this working with VisualSVN? Also will this work if I have windows authentication and https? Thanks David
