• Application stops on back button in new activity

  I have this application, that have a listView, and when I click in a item on listView, it opens a new activity. That works fine! But, if I open the new activity and than press the "back button" the application "Unfortunately, has stopped". Is there something I'm doing wrong? • Using javascript, show a certain amount of divs based on an answer

  I'm building a form that first asks if you have 'foo'. If the answer is 'Yes', a div appears and asks 'How many foo do you have'? Based on the quantity answered, I'd like to show only that many divs. Thus if the user answers 1, only the first div will show. If they answer three, the first three will show. I have it set so that if the user answers no, the question of the amount remains hidden, but if they answer yes, they would be prompted for the quantity.   I have done my due diligence in investigating this and not had any success yet. Being rather green with JavaScript I am seeking some help. I am wanting to display the date NOV2012<br> 2^nd<br> 5:00 PM I have everything working (not my script) except being able to get the date suffix to change to st, nd, rd, or th as the case may be.   Hi, I have a prblem with my code. I have a viewController and a singleton class. When i call the method readXml and run a for my program update the UITextView. When i call the clearTextView method the program exit with EXC_BAD_ACCESS. The prblem it's the name of the variable position. This is invalid but i don't change anything between the two methods. • Space Between Table Rows

  This should be a simple problem, but I am have a tough time getting the html to display the way I want it... The problem is the space between my table rows...I don't want space between my rows. I just want my table to look like a spreadsheet with black borders. I am using a datalist and have a table in the datalist control's templates. Everything is lowercase, so I don't think that it's that issue. If I switch to MySQL, the same code same project (I only change driver,URL, authentication), it works. In Eclipse Datasource Explorer, I can ping the DB and it succeeds. Weird thing is that I can't see the tables from there either. It expands the public schema but it doesn't expand the tables. Could it be some permission issue? Thanks!

  Hello I know there was few similar questions here about DropDownListFor, but neither helped me... I use Entity Framework as ORM in my project. There's EF model called "Stete". Stete has Foreign on EF model called "Drustva" Now I'm trying to make a form for editing the data, for Stete model. I managed to display everything, including Stete.Drustva.Naziv property, but I can't get this last property in my handler method [HttpPost]. It always return 0, no matter what I select in drop down list. • Blend "Window is not supported in a WPF Project"

  I am having a frustrating time with Blend reporting "Window is not supported in a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) project." due to unbuildable configurations but can't quite work out how to mangle my way out of it. I've worked out it is probably due to my trying to have a single solution with x86 and x64 configurations. There is no way to tell Blend 2 which is the active Solution Configuration and active Solution Platform. I think it's a bit of a weakness in the configuration system, or maybe the way I've set things up, but I have Debug64 and Debug solution configurations one of each is used with the platform x86 and x64. I also think it's a simple sorting problem - x64 comes before x86 and Debug comes before Debug64 so Blend ends up with an unbuildable config of Debug with x64. When I choose the combination of Debug and x64 in VS, its XAML editor can't load either. The solution is a moderately complex one - there's a pure Win32 DLL, C++/CLI Model project and two other WPF assemblies used by the main WPF project. UPDATE I have ripped all the x64 config out of my solution and rebuilt everything with no effect. I then uninstalled Blend 2 and installed Blend 3 - it doesn't like things either. The Visual Studio XAML editor is still very happy as is the program building and running. (echoes of strangled scream of frustration from oz)

• Logging Into a site that uses Live.com authentication with C#

  I've been trying to automate a log in to a website I frequent, www.bungie.net. The site is associated with Microsoft and Xbox Live, and as such makes uses of the Windows Live ID API when people log in to their site. I am relatively new to creating web spiders/robots, and I worry that I'm misunderstanding some of the most basic concepts. I've simulated logins to other sites such as Facebook and Gmail, but live.com has given me nothing but trouble. Anyways, I've been using Wireshark and the Firefox addon Tamper Data to try and figure out what I need to post, and what cookies I need to include with my requests. As far as I know these are the steps one must follow to log in to this site. 1. Visit https: //login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1268167141&rver=5.5.4177.0&wp=LBI&wreply=http:%2F%2Fwww.bungie.net%2FDefault.aspx&id=42917 2. Recieve the cookies MSPRequ and MSPOK. 3. Post the values from the form ID "PPSX", the values from the form ID "PPFT", your username, your password all to a changing URL similar to: https: //login.live.com/ppsecure/post.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct= (there are a few numbers that change at the end of that URL) 4. Live.com returns the user a page with more hidden forms to post. The client then posts the values from the form "ANON", the value from the form "ANONExp" and the values from the form "t" to the URL: http ://www.bung ie.net/Default.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0 5. After posting that data, the user is returned a variety of cookies the most important of which is "BNGAuth" which is the log in cookie for the site. Where I am having trouble is on fifth step, but that doesn't neccesarily mean I've done all the other steps correctly. I post the data from "ANON", "ANONExp" and "t" but instead of being returned a BNGAuth cookie, I'm returned a cookie named "RSPMaybe" and redirected to the home page. When I review the Wireshark log, I noticed something that instantly stood out to me as different between the log when I logged in with Firefox and when my program ran. It could be nothing but I'll include the picture here for you to review. I'm being returned an HTTP packet from the site before I post the data in the fourth step.   So, I'm working with CKEditor and jQuery, trying to build a pop-out editor. Below is what I have coded so far, and I can't seem to get it working the way I want it to. Basically, click the 'Edit' link, dialog box pops up, with the content to edit loaded into the CKEditor. Also, not required, but helpful if you can suggest how to do it.   Hello I know there was few similar questions here about DropDownListFor, but neither helped me... I use Entity Framework as ORM in my project. There's EF model called "Stete". Stete has Foreign on EF model called "Drustva" Now I'm trying to make a form for editing the data, for Stete model. I managed to display everything, including Stete.Drustva.Naziv property, but I can't get this last property in my handler method [HttpPost]. It always return 0, no matter what I select in drop down list. We use custom controls we wrote using JSF 1.1 in our applications.   Hi I am using jquery 1.3.2 and asp.net mvc 1.0. Originally I was using some other rich html editor but I ran into one major problem when a user pasted in text from open office or MS office it would bring along tons of styling junk. If a user like wrote one sentence what was like 25 characters and pasted that into my current html editor the count would 25,000 characters and I don't want to store all that junk( I can't afford to). So tinyMCE seems to not have this problem. However I got some questions. It seems if you want to use for commercial use(what my site is but currently is not making very much at this time) you need to get a commercial license. However it does not say if it is free or if it will cost money. I am assuming it means that you will have to pay but I would like to confirm this. So do you have to pay for a license to use tinyMCe if your using it for commercial use? • ‘Empty’ results from MQL Query. Freebase Schema: /film/film/starring & /film/actor/film

  First post here, so I hope this is enough detail. I started using freebase-python today to get film information for a program that I’m working on. One thing that I need to grab is a list of actors that starred in a film. I’ve followed some tutorials and guides on the way to do this, and can get a list of films for a director or the director of a film, but when I try to do the same with an actor or a film’s cast, I get ‘null’ results. I have the same problem in both Python and the Freebase MQL Query Editor, and you can see what I've tried below.   I am trying to populate a dropdown list from a database mapped with Linq 2 SQL, using ASP.NET MVC 2, and keep getting this error. I am so confused because I am declaring a variable with the type IEnumerable<SelectListItem> on the second line, but the error makes me think this is not the case. I feel like this should be very simple, but I am struggling. Any help is appreciated.   I've spent a lot of time looking at the post on 3/13/12 re: manual controls, but isn't getting me all the way there...probably because I don't know jquery. Sorry, newbie on board. I'm trying to get the right/left arrows to show, as well as the 1, 2, 3...at the bottom. They are there, I see the lists on Firebug, just don't know how to add them to the "hook" (?) so they appear. • Looking for Antlr Grammar syntaxt highlight in VS2010

  I am looking for some way to edit antlr grammar files directly within VS2010 with syntax highlight. I have used antlrworks a lot but it has the drawback that I have to start antlrworks separately and then browse to the file I want to edit, do the changed and save. For minor fixes I do not need all the tools in Antlrworks but I still would like the syntax highlight. But I have not been able to get VS2010 to open antlrworks with the right file and I have found no other way to get syntax highlight directly within VS2010 editor, it just opens as plain text. I can get visual studio to open antlrworks but it will open with only the last set of files it had open, not the one I clicked on. So my question(s) are: Is there a way to get antlrworks to open with the right file when I double click in it in visual studio project explorer? Is there any other way to get correct syntax highlight for antlr grammar files within visual studio (or with another editor, preferably not one that costs money, but if there are no free ones a commercial one might be an option).

• Retrieve parent node from selection (range) in Gecko and Webkit

  I am trying to add an attribute when using a wysiwyg editor that uses "createLink" command. I thought it would be trivial to get back the node that is created after the browse executes that command. Turns out, I am only able to grab this newly created node in IE. Any ideas? • Using jQuery to grab the content from CKEditor's iframe

  Hey guys, I have this custom written CMS that uses CKEditor *(FCKEditor v3) for editing content. Along with that I'm using the jQuery Validation plugin to check all fields for error prior to ajax-based submission. For passing on the data to the PHP backend, I'm using the serialize() function. Problem is, serialize manages to grab all other fields correctly, except for the actual content typed in CKEditor. Like every other WYSIWYG editor, this one too overlays an iframe over an existing textbox. And serialize ignores the iframe and looks only into the textbox for content... which of course, it doesn't find - thus returning a blank content body. My approach to this is to create a hook onto the onchange event of CKEditor and concurrently update the textbox (CKEDITOR.instances.[textboxname].getData() returns the content) or some other hidden field with any changes made in the editor. However, since CKEditor is still in it's beta stage and severely lacks documentation, I cannot seem to find a suitable API call that'll enable me to do so. Does anyone have any idea on how to go about this? Or maybe suggest even a better method?

• Things one needs to know while writing a game engine

  I have been dabbling in game development as a hobby for a while now, and I cannot seam to quite get my games to sparkle at least a bit with some graphics. I have decided to write a simple test game engine that only focuses on the representation of graphics - shapes, textures and surfaces. While I have a few very simple game engines designed for my own games under my belt, I want to create a game engine that I can use to display and play with graphics. I'm going to do this in C++. Since this is my first time with a major engine, the engine in not going to focus on 3D graphics, it's going to be a mixture of isometric and 2D graphics. My previous engines have incorporated (been able to draw) or focused on simple flat (almost 2D) non impressive graphic designs and representations of: the player NPCs objects walls and surfaces textures Also, I had some basic AI and sometimes even sound. They also saved and loaded games. They didn't have a map editor or a level editor. Is this going to be a problem in the future? At this time I have to point out that some of my games didn't get finished because I was to lazy to write the few last levels. My question at this point would be: What are some things one should know if one wants write (develope) a better graphical game engine with all it's functions.
