• JavaNullPointerException/Layout Error when working with lists and ListView on Android

  Hey, I'm trying to implement a ListView on Android, which will print the data retrieved from the SQLite Database. So I want to retrieve a lot of columns from the table and add this to a list, so I will print this list as a ListView. For this I created a method that will select all the columns from the table in a separate class, and I will print the ListView in a ListActivity. I want to retrieve 6 columns of the table, which is represented by the ids 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9. • Implementing IEquatable in class marked with DataContract. Does it work?

  What I am trying to accomplish is to be able to use List<>.Contains() using the custom data structure(s) returned by the WCF service. I implemented the IEquatable<>.Equals but it's not really working on the client side. Contains() always returns false. I am wondering if the Contains() method is actually part of the class when it's put together on the client side.

  This is a link to a question I had asked two days back, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2573858/how-to-make-a-webservice-request-follow-a-redirect I am using jaxws library. The service forms the URL, and then internally creates the HTTPURLConnection. If I can grab hold of the connection I would be able to set the followRedirect to true. But not getting a handle of the same. Its urgent, any help would be highly appreciated.

  I;m trying to get WCF Silverlight faults working as per this : MSDN aricle After adding the SL fault to my Web.config file I get the following warning: The element 'behavior' has invalid child element 'silverlightFaults'. List of possible elements expected: 'serviceAuthorization, serviceCredentials, serviceMetadata, serviceSecurityAudit, serviceThrottling, dataContractSerializer, serviceDebug, serviceTimeouts, persistenceProvider, workflowRuntime'. Ignoring the warning doesn't work and my Silverlight application cannot add the WCF service. Any ideas?

• ASP.NET web application can't find an assembly

  I deployed an ASP.NET web application last night and I when I woke up this morning it was very slow and would occasionally just throw a 'Service Unavailable' error. I checked the Event Viewer and it was filled up with these errors: I'm puzzled as it was working perfectly when I deployed it (MonoTorrent is required to retrieve the number of seeders/leechers for a certain torrent off the tracker - this was working fine), but it's no longer working and whenever code that uses MonoTorrent gets involved, the worker process just crashes. MonoTorrent.dll is in the /bin/ directory.

• Biztalk forced suspense?

  Hi, I am getting the error: This service instance was suspended by a BizTalk administrator. However I didn't force a suspense and it's on my local machine. I get this message all the time with every item i input. The thing is I changed a line in assembly which was a small translation, however this couldn't possibly be the cause. The service returns a HashMap with one of the values an Array, when I request the key of the array from the hashmap, java just returns "java.lang.Object". How do I access the contents of the array?   I have a design issue that I don't know how to solve. I'm using Spring 3.2.4 and Spring security 3.1.4. I have a Account table in my database that looks like this: create table Account (id identity, username varchar unique, password varchar not null, firstName varchar not null, lastName varchar not null, university varchar not null, primary key (id)); Until recently my username was just only a username but I changed it to be the email address instead since many users want to login with that instead. I have a header that I include on all my pages which got a link to the users profile like this: <a href="/project/users/<%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%>" class="navbar-link"><strong><%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%></strong></a> The problem is that <%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%> returns the email now, I don't want to link the user's with thier emails. Instead I want to use the id every user have to link to the profile. How do I reach the users id's from every page? I have been thinking of two solutions but I'm not sure: Change the principal to contain the id as well, don't know how to do this and having problem finding good information on the topic. Add a model attribute to all my controllers that contain the whole user but this would be really ugly, like this. • What is the purpose of WCF reliable session?

  The documentation around this topic is poor. I use WCF services with NetTcpBinding hosted in Windows service. The problem is that a session is dropped when it is inactive for some time. What I need is the session which is always alive. Is WCF reliable session something that can help? Or I can just play with timeout settings?

• fms port error after installed

  I installed fms 3.5 and actually am running apache for php in 8080 and want to make this fms service in different port and made it as 8083 while installing, After installed when am starting fms using ./fmsmgr server fms start it shows error message and i checked in messages file it gives already that port is used by someone "Mar 26 03:59:51 u15393552 Adaptor[12576]: Failed to initialize listeners for adaptor admin, FMS is already running or other adaptor admin" please find me the solution.
