• Code is exectuting but the view is not loading when called form a function?

  I have a viewBased application with the viewController class mainView. In it I am loading various views(different nibs) depending upon certain actions that I do. I have added a popoverController with a barbutton in the mainView. Its intialized with a tableviewController class named popClass. When I select certain row in the popover, I want the view in my mainView to load someother view(as I do when i do certain actions). For that I have written a function in mainView Controller class and is calling it from the popOver class. Function and the lines of code are executing but nothing is happening. Even the log lines are printed but no action takes place. What is the problem? OR is there anyother way to make the view change in mainView by using the popover?

  I have enjoyed learning to use OpenGL under the context of games programming, and I have experimented with creating small shapes. I'm wondering if there are any resources or apps that will generate code similar to the following with a simple paint-like interface. glColor3f(1.0, 0.0, 0.0); glBegin(GL_LINE_STRIP); glVertex2f(1, 0); glVertex2f(2, 3); glVertex2f(4, 5); glEnd(); I'm having trouble thinking of the correct dimensions to generate shapes and coming up with the correct co-ordinates.

  You can use the URL helper in Code Igniter to load CSS and Javascript with the base_url() method, but what if you have images dynamically being placed into your HTML via javascript? for example in my javascript file I've got var arrowimages={down:['downarrowclass', 'images/down.png', 23], right:['rightarrowclass', 'images/right.png']} and those images will be placed into whatever menu item I've specified has a drop down menu. but that file is a .js file so obviously the server won't load php inside of it. so, how can I set the base url for the JS?   I have looked at this question; http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2872158/ and the F1 page, but that doesn't help me much. I have set the profiling on and rebuilt, but I can't find the 'Data and Diagnostics' page, or see anything which resembles a coverage data file in the project folder. What I am trying to do get an equivalent to 'gcov' on a Linux platform, get a chart of how much code is being missed by the test suite. I'm using Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition and UnitTest++ as the test framework. Any help would be most welcome.

After that my service can open desired windows based processes. Can I configure my windows service in the code (C#) to access the desktop so that I won't have to change the access permission manually after installation?

• Is it possible to run C++ binded with SDL+OpenGL code on a web browser?

  My client wants her website to have an application that renders 3D (light 3D stuff, we are drawing only flat squares in 3D world) but web programming is not my thing. So I am looking for something that can run a C++ program from a web browser. But I think, if this is the case, then the client side must download the program first, and that's not what I want. The client should only be able to use this application only on the website. I came across Google Native Client, which claims that it can run x86 native code in web applications. I haven't decide whether it is worth it or not and I don't know whether this is what I want or not, so I decided to ask experienced people about this. If I want to have something like this, is what I said above possible? Or I completely need other languages like Flex because it does not worth the trouble? Or is Google Native Client suitable for doing something like this?

  i have a scenario where i draw a network and set all it's paraments on swing based gui, after that i have to translate this network into a python based script which another framework reads and realize this network in the form of virtual machines. Now for now in order to realize the drawn network on java GUI here is what i am doing: I simply take the information from GUI and creates a new python file like the one above using java code and then run this file in mininet, which works fine somehow. I want to know, is this the correct and robust way how i am doing this or should i be looking further into java-python bridge like scenarios to be more effective or so as to say more professional.

I was hoping to get the actual numbers (200, 301,302, 404, etc.) rather than the text description.   I understand the process of using a 3rd party library to access functions outside of my code base, but how do i actually set up Visual Studio 2005 to include them in the project. I have a 3rd party library with some headers, some cpp's, and some .lib files. In the projects properties I add the top level external library directory as an include directory, I add the additional library directory at the same level put this is project properties too. In the .cpp file where I use the functions, do I put the #include in its header file? In the top level projects header file? in the cpp? I've tried all that, but I get "unresolved external symbol"... grrrrrrrrrrrrr
