  • ALSA Mutes Incorrect Audio Device on Headphone Event

    I know what the problem is, I just don't know how to prevent it. When I plug in my headphones, ALSA automatically mutes (and sets the volume to 0) the 'Speaker' entry in alsamixer. If I go in and manually unmute (and turn the volume up) I have sound from my headphones. Question is, how do I change this behavior? I want it to adjust the volume to half, but not mute or set the volume to 0. I'm using Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 Output of amixer scontents Simple mixer control 'IEC958',0 Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined penum Playback channels: Mono Mono: Playback [on] This answer solved my issue: How can I get sound on headphones without switching back to 'Speakers' manually?

  • Dynamic Post-build event in Visual Studio

    I am building a video server application that has multiple projects in Visual Studio. One project, the video server project, needs to call a shell script to generate documentation. This works fine when you build the video server project, because the script is simply cd "$(SolutionDir)" start documentationgenerator However, there is also an SDK project that, when built, also builds the video server project. However, when it does this, it does not know where the shell script is, since it tries to use the SDK Project's Solution Directory. SDK Project Video Server Project shell script So the question is: how do I make the SDK Project find the Video Server Project? I checked the MSBuild properties and there are no properties that seem to deal with 'nested' projects.

    Hi All! Using Grails and the RichUI plugin to display a tree, and it works fine. When I click one of the Nodes in the tree I show a list(table) from a controller. I should be able to create new, edit and sort. My problem is that pagination doesn't work and also sorting!!! Are there anyone who has done this, or can it be done differently ? Best Regards Jamie

Removing the node directly from the association won't update the second level cache. A hasMany B Is there any way to manually invalidate or force a reload on an association cache? Invoking refresh() on the many side didn't do the trick.

My code: class myDomainClassSpec extends IntegrationSpec{ ... def 'my test'() { when: ... then: MyDomainClass.find { id == 1 } } ... } This fails, throwing: groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: id for class: grails.gorm.DetachedCriteria If instead I code: MyDomainClass.findAll().find { id == 1 } it works. Any ideas??

    Hi I'm fighting to get the following mapping working in Grails 1.3.1 and MySQL: class Login { int id String email static mappings = { table 'my_table' id column: "Mgr_id" version: false } } No matter what I do the queries that are being issued refer to "schema.login" table instead of "schema.my_table". I am attempting to fashion a way to calculate a "similarity percentage" between two Users...     I am working on an application where the app user can create / delete queues . Also , he would be able to move a message from 1 queue to another, delete a message , rearrange the messages in the queue based on some filter. One possible design is to use activemq for queues and apache camel for various other operations having integrated with Grails. But I am not sure whether ActiveMQ allows creation /deleltion queues at runtime. Would this be a good choice to implement such system?
