  • sorl-thumbnail unit tests fail by 1 pixel (!)

    - by stevejalim
Hi I'm using sorl-thumbnail in a Django 1.2 (currently 1.2 RC) project and getting a surprising failure of four of sorl's built-in unit tests. Essentially, the resized images are all 1px shorter than the unit tests expect them to be. See below for details I'm developing on OSX 10.5.8 (not Snow Leopard) with Python 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Feb 6 2009, 19:02:12) and PIL 1.1.6. Any thoughts what might be up? • global scope of variable

    - by shantanuo
The following shell scrip will check the disk space and change the variable "diskfull" to 1 if the usage is more than 10% The last echo always shows 0 I tried the global diskfull=1 in the if clause but it did not work. How do I change the variable to 1 if the disk consumed is more than 10% #!/bin/sh diskfull=0 ALERT=10 df -HP | grep -vE '^Filesystem|tmpfs|cdrom' | awk '{ print $5 " " $1 }' | while read output; do #echo $output usep=$(echo $output | awk '{ print $1}' | cut -d'%' -f1 ) partition=$(echo $output | awk '{ print $2 }' ) if [ $usep -ge $ALERT ]; then diskfull=1 exit fi done echo $diskfull

  • How can I get the dimensions of a drawn string without padding?

    - by Dan Herbert
I'm trying to create an image with some text on it and I want the image's size to match the size of the rendered text. When I use System.Windows.Forms.TextRenderer.MeasureText(...) to measure the text, I get dimensions that include font padding. When the text is rendered, it seems to use the same padding. Is there any way to determine the size of a string of text and then render it without any padding? This is the code I've tried: // Measure the text dimensions var text = "Hello World"; var fontFamily = new Font("Arial", 30, FontStyle.Regular); var textColor = new SolidBrush(Color.Black); Size textSize = TextRenderer.MeasureText(text, fontFamily, Size.Empty, TextFormatFlags.NoPadding); // Render the text with the given dimensions Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(textSize.Width, textSize.Height); Graphics g = Graphics.FromImage(bmp); g.TextRenderingHint = TextRenderingHint.AntiAliasGridFit; g.DrawString(text, fontFamily, textColor, new PointF(0, 0)); bmp.Save("output.png", ImageFormat.Png); This is what currently gets rendered out: This is what I want to render: I also looked into Graphics.MeasureString(...), but that can only be used on an existing Graphics object. I want to know the size before creating the image. Also, calling Graphics.MeasureString(...) returns the same dimensions, so it doesn't help me any.

  • How to get raw jpeg data (but no metatags / proprietary markers)

    - by CoolAJ86
I want to get raw jpeg data - no metadata. I'm very confused looking at the jpeg "standards". How correct is my understanding of the marker "tree"? 0xFFD8 - Identifies the file as an image 0xFFE? - EXIF, JFIF, SPIFF, ICC, etc 0x???? - the length of the tag 0xFFD8 - Start of Image 0xFFE0 - should follow SOI as per spec, but often preceded by comments ??? 0x???? - Matrices, tags, random data ??? There are never other markers in-between these markers? Or these include the matrices and such? 0xFFDA - Start of Stream - This is what I want, yes? 0xXXXX - length of stream 0xFFD9 - End of Stream (EOI) 0x???? - Comment tags, extra exif, jfif info??? 0xFFD9 - End of Image 0xFF00 - escaped 0xFF, not to be confused with a marker This has been my reading material: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JPEG http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/TagNames/JPEG.html http://www.media.mit.edu/pia/Research/deepview/exif.html http://www.faqs.org/faqs/jpeg-faq/part1/section-15.html

  • A couple questions using fwrite/fread with data structures

    - by Nazgulled
Hi, I'm using fwrite() and fread() for the first time to write some data structures to disk and I have a couple of questions about best practices and proper ways of doing things. What I'm writing to disk (so I can later read it back) is all user profiles inserted in a Graph structure. Each graph vertex is of the following type: typedef struct sUserProfile { char name[NAME_SZ]; char address[ADDRESS_SZ]; int socialNumber; char password[PASSWORD_SZ]; HashTable *mailbox; short msgCount; } UserProfile; And this is how I'm currently writing all the profiles to disk: void ioWriteNetworkState(SocialNetwork *social) { Vertex *currPtr = social->usersNetwork->vertices; UserProfile *user; FILE *fp = fopen("save/profiles.dat", "w"); if(!fp) { perror("fopen"); exit(EXIT_FAILURE); } fwrite(&(social->usersCount), sizeof(int), 1, fp); while(currPtr) { user = (UserProfile*)currPtr->value; fwrite(&(user->socialNumber), sizeof(int), 1, fp); fwrite(user->name, sizeof(char)*strlen(user->name), 1, fp); fwrite(user->address, sizeof(char)*strlen(user->address), 1, fp); fwrite(user->password, sizeof(char)*strlen(user->password), 1, fp); fwrite(&(user->msgCount), sizeof(short), 1, fp); break; currPtr = currPtr->next; } fclose(fp); } Notes: The first fwrite() you see will write the total user count in the graph so I know how much data I need to read back. The break is there for testing purposes. There's thousands of users and I'm still experimenting with the code. My questions: After reading this I decided to use fwrite() on each element instead of writing the whole structure. I also avoid writing the pointer to to the mailbox as I don't need to save that pointer. So, is this the way to go? Multiple fwrite()'s instead of a global one for the whole structure? Isn't that slower? How do I read back this content? I know I have to use fread() but I don't know the size of the strings, cause I used strlen() to write them. I could write the output of strlen() before writing the string, but is there any better way without extra writes?

  • Explaining to boss why we need to avoid horizontal scroll

    - by Bradley Herman
I need help explaining to my boss why her design is poor on a clients website. She has no knowledge of web and it can be difficult as a web developer working with a woman who is a graphic designer (not even a web designer really). On a current site she has designed, an image bar "needs" to be like 1200px according to her, though it isn't necessary with the content. I'll show a quick sketch to illustrate what's going on: http://imgur.com/MNGOT.jpg As you see, the banner spills out past the 960px of the content and as wide as 1200px. This creates a horizontal scroll when all the content is viewable within the 960px wide viewport. I need to make this an img and not a css background because it's a jquery slideshow that fades from image to image. I think this is a big problem because a lot of people are going to get a horizontal scroll bar imposed in their browser when they're still able to see all the relevant content. How do I help her explain it. She thinks no one will notice and it'll be fine, I think it's very bad practice and confusing to the end user. Any help?

  • Location of the object after scrolling in UIScrollView

    - by ludo
Hi, I have a scrollView (width:320px height:100px) on my UIView, inside it I add 10 images with width:106.5px each. After that I use this function to have 3 different parts inside my scrollView, so everytime I scroll, an image will automatically be center. -(void)scrollViewDidEndDragging:(UIScrollView *)scrollView willDecelerate:(BOOL)decelerate { [self returnToPosition:self.scrollView]; } -(void)scrollViewDidEndDecelerating:(UIScrollView *)scrollView { [self returnToPosition:self.scrollView]; } -(void)returnToPosition:(UIScrollView *)scrollView { CGFloat itemWidth = 106.5f; CGFloat position = [self.scrollView contentOffset].x; CGFloat newPosition = 0.0f; CGFloat offSet = position / itemWidth; NSUInteger target = (NSUInteger)(offSet + 0.5f); newPosition = target * itemWidth; [self.scrollView setContentOffset:CGPointMake(newPosition, 0.0f) animated:YES]; } Here is my question, I want to be able to know which image will be in the middle position after the user scroll the View, because I want to display on my UIView a text, specific to that image. But I don't know how to do that. Some Ideas?

  • Python: OSX Library for fast full screen jpg/png display

    - by Parand
Frustrated by lack of a simple ACDSee equivalent for OS X, I'm looking to hack one up for myself. I'm looking for a gui library that accommodates: Full screen image display High quality image fit-to-screen (for display) Low memory usage Fast display Reasonable learning curve (the simpler the better) Looks like there are several choices, so which is the best? Here are some I've run across: PyOpenGL PyGame PyQT wxpython I don't have any particular experience with any of these, nor any strong desire to become an expert - I'm looking for the simplest solution. What do you recommend? [Update] For those not familiar with ACDSee, here's what it does that I care about: Simple list/thubmnail display of images in a directory Sort by name/size/type Ability to view images full screen Single-key delete while viewing full screen Move to next/previous image while viewing full screen Ability to select a group of images for: move to / copy to directory delete resize ACDSee has a bunch of niceties as well, such as remembering directories you've moved images to in the past, remembering your resize settings, displaying the total size of the images you've selected, etc. I've tried most of the options I could find (including Xee) and none of them quite get there. Please keep in mind that this is a programming/library question, not a criticism of any of the existing tools.

  • Shortest-path algorithms which use a space-time tradeoff?

    - by Chris Mounce
I need to find shortest paths in an unweighted, undirected graph. There are algorithms which can find a shortest path between two nodes, but this can take time. There are also algorithms for computing shortest paths for all pairs of nodes in the graph, but storing such a lookup table would take lots of disk space. What I'm wondering: Is there an algorithm which offers a space-time tradeoff that's somewhere between these two extremes? In other words, is there a way to speed up a shortest-path search, while using less disk space than would be occupied by an all-pairs shortest-path table? I know there are ways to efficiently store lookup tables for this problem, and I already have a couple of ideas for speeding up shortest-path searches using precomputed data. But I don't want to reinvent the wheel if there's already some established algorithm that solves this problem.

  • Saving a huge dataset into SQL table in a XML column - MS SQL, C#.Net

    - by NLV
Hello all I'm having a requirement where i've to save a dataset which has multiple tables in it in a sql table XML column by converting into an XML. The problem is that in some cases the dataset grows extremely huge and i get OutOfMemoryException. What i basically do is that i convert the dataset into an xml file and save it in the local disk and then load the XML again and send it as a stored procedure parameter. But when i write the dataset xml into the disk the file sizes over 700 Mb and when i load it in the XMLDocument object in memory i get OutOfMemoryException. How can get the dataset xml without saving it in a file and re-reading it again? Thank You NLV

  • Annoying IE7 problem.

    - by Yo-L
I am styling a Wordpress theme but has run into problem with IE7. The first word("it") inside the paragraph/strong tag ends up to the left of the img tag when I want it BELOW the image. My problem is that the only element I can change CSS properties here is the div, since the code inside is posted with a WYSIWYG by an blog author. Is there anyway i can fix this problem? I have tried lots of different settings and every other browser FF safari IE8 renders the text below the image. <div style="width: 430px;"> <h1>It is hard getting it right in IE7!</h1> <p> <img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4333" src="http://xxx.xxx.xx/files/2010/03/xxx.jpg" alt="xxx" style="width: 430px; height: 600px" /> <strong>It is hard</strong> getting it right in IE7! </p> </div>

  • Are there any free .NET OCR libraries that will perform OCR on an application window directly?

    - by Kelsey
I am looking for a free .NET OCR library that will be able to do OCR on a given application window or even a image in memory (I can take a snapshot of the application window myself). I have looked at tessnet2 and MODI but both require an image located on disk. I need to use OCR because the application I am trying to write a script for does some wacky stuff that cannot be read using windows API and I need to scrape data from the screen. I have tested both of tessnet2 and MODI and they both can read the text mostly but because this has to run in an enviroment that will not be able to write to disk, I need it to be able to read directly from the applciation window or some type of memory stream. I am thinking OCR is my only soution but there could be other methods that I am not thinking of. Suggestions?

  • Can FAXCOMEXLib and Windows Fax Service send a color fax?

    - by Craig
We are in the process of testing different options for sending faxes from within our C# code (receiving faxes is not necessary). One of those options is to use FAXCOMEXLib. Without surprise, I've had pretty good success sending out black & white faxes with FAXCOMExLib. But we also have a requirement to support sending color faxes. So I execute the following code (just a snippet): IFaxDocument oFaxDoc = new FaxDocumentClass(); oFaxDoc.Body = @"C:\Test\color_image.jpg"; oFaxDoc.ConnectedSubmit(m_oFaxServer); The image is 24bit color, 1728x2304, 204x196 dpi. For the most part, this process works (with a couple of small quirks) and the fax shows up in my "Windows Fax and Scan" outbox (I'm on Vista). The problem is the image has been dithered to a 1bit black & white image. I assume that what I see in "Windows Fax and Scan" is what is actually transmitted. So is there a way to send a color fax using this technology? Are we missing a configuration option somewhere to make it work?

  • Temp file that exists only in RAM?

    - by Auraomega
I'm trying to write an encrpytion using the OTP method. In keeping with the security theories I need the plain text documents to be stored only in memory and never ever written to a physical drive. The tmpnam command appears to be what I need, but from what I can see it saves the file on the disk and not the RAM. Using C++ is there any (platform independent) method that allows a file to exist only in RAM? I would like to avoid using a RAM disk method if possible. Thanks Edit: Thanks, its more just a learning thing for me, I'm new to encryption and just working through different methods, I don't actually plan on using many of them (esspecially OTP due to doubling the original file size because of the "pad"). If I'm totally honest, I'm a Linux user so ditching Windows wouldn't be too bad, I'm looking into using RAM disks for now as FUSE seems a bit overkill for a "learning" thing.

  • Several xml errors using Facebook JS SDK with xhtml strict

    - by Landitus
I'm trying to set up some like buttons to a project. These buttons live inside a jquery slideshow with Aino's Galleria and let you "Like" each different slide. I'm using an xHTML strict document and while in Firefox (and Firebug) everything seems ok, but in webkit inspector I get this: XML self-closing tag syntax used on <fb:like>. The tag will not be closed. [The HTML that caused this error was generated by a script.] XML self-closing tag syntax used on <fb:like>. The tag will not be closed. I get one of these every slide, so there are 28 errors. Looking into it, found some seem to enclose the fb:like into something like this: <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ document.write('<fb:like href="<?php echo "http://www.site/image-".$image_id ;?>" width="260" height="80" show_faces="false" />'); //]]> </script> The above, still works in Firefox, but not in Safari. The inspector says: 26 XFBML tags failed to render in 30000ms. Moreover, for the Facebook like buttons to work with the Galleria Jquery plugin, I have a custom function that reloads only the facebook like button concerning the actual slide which appears briefly upon loading the slide: [...] extend: function(options) { // listen to when an image is shown this.bind(Galleria.IMAGE, function(e) { number = e.index + 1; tag = $('.galleria-info-description .info-box-'+number).find('.btn_fb'); $(tag).each(function() { FB.XFBML.parse( this ); }); }); } This thing is getting more complex and really don't know who is causing the problem! Hope somebody can help or ask the right questions!

  • Avoid the collapsing effect on TreeView after updating data

    - by Manolete
    I have a TreeView used to display events. It works great, however every time new events are coming in and populating the tree collapse the tree again to the original position. That is very annoying when the refresh time is less than 1 second and it does not allow the user to interact with the items of the tree. Is there any way to avoid this behaviour? <TreeView Margin="1" BorderThickness="0" Name="eventsTree" ItemsSource="{Binding EventAlertContainers}" Background="#00000000" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" FontSize="14" VirtualizingStackPanel.IsVirtualizing="True"> <TreeView.Resources> <HierarchicalDataTemplate DataType="{x:Type C:EventAlertContainer}" ItemsSource="{Binding EventAlerts}"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Image Width="20" Height="20" Margin="3,0" Source="Resources\Process_info_32.png" /> <TextBlock FontWeight="Bold" FontSize="16" Text="{Binding Description}" /> </StackPanel> </HierarchicalDataTemplate> <HierarchicalDataTemplate DataType="{x:Type C:EventAlert}" ItemsSource="{Binding Events}"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Image Width="20" Height="20" Margin="0,0" Source="Resources\clock2_32.jpg" /> <TextBlock FontWeight="DemiBold" FontSize="14" Text="{Binding Name}" /> </StackPanel> </HierarchicalDataTemplate> <HierarchicalDataTemplate DataType="{x:Type C:Event}"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Image Width="20" Height="20" Margin="0,0" Source="Resources\Task_32.png" /> <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical"> <TextBlock FontSize="12" Text="{Binding Name}" /> </StackPanel> </StackPanel> </HierarchicalDataTemplate> </TreeView.Resources> </TreeView>

  • Load a MySQL innodb database into memory

    - by jack
I have a MySQL innodb database at 1.9GB, showed by following command. SELECT table_schema "Data Base Name", -> sum( data_length + index_length ) / 1024 / -> 1024 "Data Base Size in MB", -> sum( data_free )/ 1024 / 1024 "Free Space in MB" -> FROM information_schema.TABLES -> GROUP BY table_schema ; +--------------------+----------------------+------------------+ | Data Base Name | Data Base Size in MB | Free Space in MB | +--------------------+----------------------+------------------+ | database_name | 1959.73437500 | 31080.00000000 | My questions are: Does it mean if I set the innodb_buffer_pool_size to 2GB or larger, the whole database can be loaded into memory so much fewer read from disk requests are needed? What does the free space of 31GB mean? If the maximum RAM can be allocated to innodb_buffer_pool_size is 1GB, is it possible to specify which tables to loaded into memory while keep others always read from disk? Thanks in advance.

  • IE8 CSS Table Effect

    - by Ian
I've been trying to make this cross browser (specifically IE), but I do not want to use tables. I will not be able to specify the container width with CSS because its contents (the image) will dynamically change with Javascript, so I need the container to 'auto-size' horizontally. The desired effect would be a centered image with two sets of text (one of the left and one of the left) directly underneath the image, aligned to it's inner edges. Example (Doesn't work on IE): http://pastehtml.com/view/19pbyw9.html <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <style type="text/css"> #container { display:table; } </style> </head> <body> <center> <div id="container"> <img src="http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/srpr/logo1w.png" alt="" /><br /> <span style="float: left;">test</span> <span style="float: right; text-align: right;">test2</span> </div> </center> </body> </html>

  • iPhone: Cell imageViews repeating when loaded from url

    - by araid
I'm developing a demo RSS reader for iPhone. I obviously have a tableview to display the feeds, and then a detailed view. Some of this feeds have a thumbnail that I want to display on cell.imageview of the table, and some don't. The problem is that when scrolling the table, loaded thumbnails start repeating on other cells, and I end up with a thumbnail on every cell. Here's a piece of my code. I may upload screenshots later - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath{ UITableViewCell * cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier: @"rssItemCell"]; if(nil == cell){ cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleSubtitle reuseIdentifier:@"rssItemCell"]autorelease]; } BlogRss *item = [[[self rssParser]rssItems]objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; cell.textLabel.text = [item title]; cell.detailTextLabel.text = [item description]; cell.accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryDisclosureIndicator; // Thumbnail if exists if(noticia.imagePath != nil){ NSData* imageData; @try { imageData = [[NSData alloc]initWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL URLWithString:item.imagePath]]; } @catch (NSException * e) { //Some error while downloading data } @finally { item.image = [[UIImage alloc] initWithData:imageData]; [imageData release]; } } if(item.image != nil){ [[cell imageView] setImage:item.image]; } return cell; } Any help will be very appreciated.

  • jquery png fix on hidden div and jquerybrowser question

    - by Jared
Hello, I have some code that if Javascript is available, it will remove a GIF image and replace it with a PNG image. The PNG is display:none and the GIF is visible. Since IE6- browsers can't load PNG, I have loaded the jquery PNG fix. But it only seems to work if the image is already visible. The other issue is I am trying to get the jquery.browser function to apply to less than version 6, and I am not having much luck. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#gif").hide(); jQuery.each(jQuery.browser, function(i, val) { if($.browser.msie && jQuery.browser.version <="6"){ $("#png").show(); $('.png').pngFix() }else{ $("#png").fadeIn("slow"); } }); }); </script> HTML <img class="png" id="png" src="images/main_elements/one-2-flush-it-campus-challenge.png" style="display:none;" /> <img id="gif" src="images/main_elements/one-2-flush-it-campus-challenge.gif"/>

I have a table view which evaluates a statement when it displays its data : it goes like this : - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"CustomCell"; cell = ((MainCell *)[self.tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier]); if (cell == nil) { [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"MainCell" owner:self options:nil]; } Entry *entry = [fetchedResultsController objectAtIndexPath:indexPath]; cell.topLabel.text = [@"* " stringByAppendingString: entry.entryname]; cell.bottomLabel.text = entry.textbody; if ([entry.active boolValue] == YES) { cell.cellImageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"check.png"]; } else { cell.cellImageView.image = nil; cell.accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton; } return cell; } The problem is that the first time it displays the data, the conditions are met when I scroll down the tableview but when I scroll up, sometimes, I get my "check.png" image and the accessory as well, which is not possible normally. Am I going crazy or is it the tableview ? Could you help me with that please, I can't figure out why it doesn't work... :-(( Thanks a lot in advance. Mike

  • Displaying music list using custom lists instead of array adapters

    - by Rahul Varma
    Hi, I have displayed the music list in a list view. The list is obtained from a website. I have done this using Arraylist. Now, i want to iterate the same program using custom lists and custom adapters instead of array list. The code i have written using array lists is... public class MusicListActivity extends Activity { MediaPlayer mp; File mediaFile; TextView tv; TextView albumtext; TextView artisttext; ArrayList<String> al=new ArrayList<String>(); //ArrayList<String> al=new ArrayList<String>(); ArrayList<String> node=new ArrayList<String>(); ArrayList<String> filepath=new ArrayList<String>(); ArrayList<String> imgal=new ArrayList<String>(); ArrayList<String> album=new ArrayList<String>(); ArrayList<String> artist=new ArrayList<String>(); ListView lv; Object[] webImgListObject; String[] stringArray; XMLRPCClient client; String loginsess; HashMap<?, ?> siteConn = null; //ImageView im; Bitmap img; String s; int d; int j; StreamingMediaPlayer sm; int start=0; Intent i; @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.openadiuofile); lv=(ListView)findViewById(R.id.list1); al=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("titles"); //node=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("nodeid"); filepath=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("apath"); imgal=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("imgpath"); album=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("album"); artist=getIntent().getStringArrayListExtra("artist"); // ArrayAdapter<String> aa=new ArrayAdapter<String>(this,R.layout.row,R.id.text2,al); //lv.setAdapter(aa); try{ lv.setAdapter( new styleadapter(this,R.layout.row, R.id.text2,al)); }catch(Throwable e) { Log.e("openaudio error",""+e.toString()); goBlooey(e); } lv.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener(){ @Override public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> arg0, View arg1, int arg2, long arg3){ j=1; try{ d=arg2; String filep=filepath.get(d); String tit=al.get(d); String image=imgal.get(d); String singer=artist.get(d); String movie=album.get(d); sendpath(filep,tit,image,singer,movie); // getpath(n); }catch(Throwable t) { goBlooey(t); } } }); } @Override protected void onPause() { // TODO Auto-generated method stub super.onPause(); if(j==0) {i=new Intent(this,gorinkadashboard.class); startActivity(i);} } @Override protected void onResume() { // TODO Auto-generated method stub super.onResume(); j=0; } @Override public boolean onKeyDown(int keyCode, KeyEvent event) { if (keyCode==KeyEvent.KEYCODE_SEARCH) { Log.i("go","go"); return true; } return(super.onKeyDown(keyCode, event)); } public void sendpath(String n,String nn,String image,String singer,String movie) { Intent ii=new Intent(this,MusicPlayerActivity.class); ii.putExtra("path",n); ii.putExtra("titletxt",nn); //ii.putStringArrayListExtra("playpath",filepath); ii.putExtra("pos",d); ii.putExtra("image",image); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("imagepath",imgal); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("filepath", filepath); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("imgal", imgal); ii.putExtra("movie" ,movie ); ii.putExtra("singer",singer); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("album", album); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("artist",artist); ii.putStringArrayListExtra("tittlearray",al); startActivity(ii); } class styleadapter extends ArrayAdapter<String> { Context context=null; public styleadapter(Context context, int resource, int textViewResourceId, List<String> objects) { super(context, resource, textViewResourceId, objects); this.context=context; } @Override public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { final int i=position; LayoutInflater inflater = ((Activity) context).getLayoutInflater(); View v = inflater.inflate(R.layout.row, null); tv=(TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text2); albumtext=(TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text3); artisttext=(TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text1); tv.setText(al.get(i)); albumtext.setText(album.get(i)); artisttext.setText(artist.get(i)); final ImageView im=(ImageView)v.findViewById(R.id.image); s="http://www.gorinka.com/"+imgal.get(i); // displyimg(s,v); // new imageloader(s,im); String imgPath=s; AsyncImageLoaderv asyncImageLoaderv=new AsyncImageLoaderv(); Bitmap cachedImage = asyncImageLoaderv.loadDrawable(imgPath, new AsyncImageLoaderv.ImageCallback() { public void imageLoaded(Bitmap imageDrawable, String imageUrl) { im.setImageBitmap(imageDrawable); } }); im.setImageBitmap(cachedImage); return v; } } public class imageloader implements Runnable{ private String ss; //private View v; //private View v2; private ImageView im; public imageloader(String s, ImageView im) { this.ss=s; //this.v2=v2; this.im=im; Thread thread = new Thread(this); thread.start(); } public void run(){ try { // URL url = new URL(ss); // URLConnection conn = url.openConnection(); // conn.connect(); HttpGet httpRequest = null; httpRequest = new HttpGet(ss); HttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient(); HttpResponse response = (HttpResponse) httpclient.execute(httpRequest); HttpEntity entity = response.getEntity(); BufferedHttpEntity bufHttpEntity = new BufferedHttpEntity(entity); InputStream is = bufHttpEntity.getContent(); // BufferedInputStream bis = new BufferedInputStream(is); Bitmap bm = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(is); Log.d("img","img"); // bis.close(); is.close(); im.setImageBitmap(bm); // im.forceLayout(); // v2.postInvalidate(); // v2.requestLayout(); } catch (Exception t) { Log.e("bitmap url", "Exception in updateStatus()", t); //goBlooey(t); // throw new RuntimeException(t); } } } private void goBlooey(Throwable t) { AlertDialog.Builder builder=new AlertDialog.Builder(this); builder .setTitle("Exception!") .setMessage(t.toString()) .setPositiveButton("OK", null) .show(); } } I have created the SongList.java, SongsAdapter.java and also SongsAdapterView.java. Their code is... public class SongsList { private String titleName; private String movieName; private String singerName; private String imagePath; private String mediaPath; // Constructor for the SongsList class public SongsList(String titleName, String movieName, String singerName,String imagePath,String mediaPath ) { super(); this.titleName = titleName; this.movieName = movieName; this.singerName = singerName; this.imagePath = imagePath; this.mediaPath = mediaPath; } public String gettitleName() { return titleName; } public void settitleName(String titleName) { this.titleName = titleName; } public String getmovieName() { return movieName; } public void setmovieName(String movieName) { this.movieName = movieName; } public String getsingerName() { return singerName; } public void setsingerName(String singerName) { this.singerName = singerName; } public String getimagePath() { return imagePath; } public void setimagePath(String imagePath) { this.imagePath = imagePath; } public String getmediaPath() { return mediaPath; } public void setmediaPath(String mediaPath) { this.mediaPath = mediaPath; } } public class SongsAdapter extends BaseAdapter{ private Context context; private List<SongsList> listSongs; public SongsAdapter(Context context, List<SongsList> listPhonebook){ this.context = context; this.listSongs = listSongs; } public int getCount() { return listSongs.size(); } public Object getItem(int position) { return listSongs.get(position); } public long getItemId(int position) { return position; } public View getView(int position, View view, ViewGroup viewGroup) { SongsList entry = listSongs.get(position); return new SongsAdapterView(context,entry); } } public SongsAdapterView(Context context, SongsList entry) { super(context); this.setOrientation(VERTICAL); this.setTag(entry); // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub View v = inflate(context, R.layout.row, null); TextView tvTitle = (TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text2); tvTitle.setText(entry.gettitleName()); TextView tvMovie = (TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text3); tvTitle.setText(entry.getmovieName()); TextView tvSinger = (TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.text1); tvTitle.setText(entry.getsingerName()); addView(v); } } Can anyone please tell me how to display the list using custom lists and custom adapters using the code above???
