Intellij Javafx artifact - how do you make it?

I've been trying all day to turn my javafx application into a jar file. I'm using Java 1.7 update 7. Oracle has some information, but it just seems scattered all over the place. Intellij is almost doing the job, but I get the following error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javafx/application/Application Which seems to say that I need to tell java where the jfxrt.jar is... If I add this jar to my classpath info for the manifest build in intellij - ctrl+shift+alt+s - Artifacts - Output Layout tab - Class Path, then I get another error: Could not find or load main class com.downloadpinterest.code.Main It seems strange to have to include jfxrt.jar in my class path though... I've tried to create an ant script as well, but I feel like IntelliJ is 90% of the way there - and I just need a bit of help to figure out why I need to include jfxrt.jar, and why my Main class isn't being found (I'm guessing I need to add it to the classpath somehow?). Could anyone clue me up as to what is happening? I had a basic gui before which worked fine, but JavaFX seems to be making life complicated!

Suggestions for displaying code on webpages, MUST use <br> for newline

Hi, I want to post code snippets online (wordpress.com blog) - and have its whitespace formatted nicely. See the answers suggested by this other SO question: Those would be OK, except that I like to copy code to clip board or clip entire pages using Evernote - and they use either the <pre> tag or <table> (or both) to format the code. This DIV is upon page load empty. How can i handle a form submit using REAL OOP in PHP

Im used to java and creating UML.. and i was wondering how can PHP be OOP, the objects live only until you make a request.. then they destroy, so if im using a database is useless to create a class and add the members (variables) to the class, they will be useless.. i cant pass the main system object from one page to another, or similar so how can PHP be compare to jave? you never do OOP .. i mean REAL OOP.. not creating classes , in fact your index will be a procedural file with some object instance and then ? how about if i make a html form and i want to submit the data.. i have to call a file which is not a class is a php procedural file were i grab the submited data with POST, from that file you will instance a class and do some logic there.. but for me thats not pure OOP.. can somebody point me to the right way of OOP using a form submit example ? Lets say I have this line in the XML <country>Dominican Republic</country> I would like to get my table to look like this <td class="country DominicanRepublic">Dominican Republic</td> I've tried this: <td class="country {country}"><xsl:value-of select="country"/></td> then this: <xsl:element name="td"> <xsl:attribute name="class"> <xsl:text>country </xsl:text> <xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(country)"/> </xsl:attribute> <xsl:value-of select="country"/> </xsl:element> The normalize-space() doesn't remove the space between the two parts of the name and I can't use <xsl:strip-space elements="country"/> because I need the space when I display the name inside the table cell. How can I strip the space from the value inside the class, but not the text in the cell?

Good day, I've been trying to build a perfect footer who sticks at the bottom of the browser window after it's content. And I got help here @ Stack Overflow previously. But after a while, and doing a few tests, found out that after the browser window is resized, and then I scroll down , the footer overlaps...it is causing me a big headache right now and I'd like to fix this so I can move on. Problem with serialization of svcutil synthetized classes

I used svcutil to generate classes to access the web service. I need to serialize them. handling refrence to pointers/double pointers using SWIG [C++ to Java]

My code has an interface like class IExample { ~IExample(); //pure virtual methods ...}; a class inheriting the interface like class CExample : public IExample { protected: CExample(); //implementation of pure virtual methods ... }; and a global function to create object of this class - createExample( IExample *& obj ) { obj = new CExample(); } ; Now, I am trying to get Java API wrapper using SWIG, the SWIG generated interface has a construcotr like - IExample(long cPtr, boolean cMemoryOwn) and global function becomes createExample(IExample obj ) The problem is when i do, IExample exObject = new IExample(LogFileLibraryJNI.new_plong(), true /*or false*/ ); createExample( exObject ); The createExample(...) API at C++ layer succesfully gets called, however, when call returns to Java layer, the cPtr (long) variable does not get updated. Ideally, this variable should contain address of CExample object. I read in documentation that typemaps can be used to handle output parameters and pointer references as well; however, I am not able to figure out the suitable way to use typemaps to resolve this problem, or any other workaround. Please suggest if i am doing something wrong, or how to use typemap in such situation?

Uploadify: Passing a form's ID as a parameter with scriptData

I need the ability to have multiple upload inputs on one page (potentially hundreds) using Uploadify. The upload PHP file will be renaming the uploaded file based on the ID of the input button used to submit it, so it will need that ID. Since I will be having hundreds of upload buttons on one page, I wanted to create a universal instantiation, so I did this using the class of the forms rather than the ID of the forms. However, when one of the inputs is clicked, I would like to pass the ID of that input as scriptData to the PHP. This is not working; PHP says 'formId' is undefined. Is there a good way get the ID attribute of the form input being used, and passing it to the upload PHP? Or is there a completely different and better method of accomplishing this? Error Cannot create an Instance of "ObjectName" in Designer when using <UserControl.Resources>

Hi All, I'm tryihg to bind a combobox item source to a static resource. I'm oversimplfying my example so that it's easy to understand what i'm doing. So I have created a class public class A : ObservableCollection<string> { public A() { IKBDomainContext Context = new IKBDomainContext(); Context.Load(Context.GetIBOptionsQuery("2C6C1Q"), p => { foreach (var item in SkinContext.IKBOptions) { this.Add(item); } }, null); } } So the class has a constructor that populates itself using a domaincontext that gets data from a persisted database. I'm only doing reads on this list so dont have to worry about persisting back. in xaml i add a reference to the namespace of this class then I add it as a usercontrol.resources to the page control. <UserControl.Resources> <This:A x:Key="A"/> </UserControl.Resources> and then i use it this staticresource to bind it to my combobox items source.in reality i have to use a datatemplate to display this object properly but i wont add that here. <Combobox ItemsSource="{StaticResource A}"/> Now when I'm in the designer I get the error: Cannot Create an Instance of "A". If i compile and run the code, it runs just fine. This seems to only affect the editing of the xaml page. What am I doing wrong?
