• Multiple left joins, how to output in php

  I have 3 tables I need to join. The contracts table is the main table, the 'jobs' and 'companies' table are extra info that can be associated to the contracts table. so, since I want all entries from my 'contracts' table, and the 'jobs' and 'companies' data only if it exists, I wrote the query like this.... $sql = "SELECT * FROM contracts LEFT JOIN jobs ON contracts.job_id = jobs.id LEFT JOIN companies ON contracts.company_id = companies.id ORDER BY contracts.end_date"; Now how would I output this in PHP? • Symfony2 same form, different entities NOT related

  I'm trying to write one form for submitting against MySQL DB, but I can't get it working, I've tried a lot of things (separate forms, create an ->add('foo', new foo()) to a field, and trying to parse plain SQL with a normal HTML form is my only solution, which is obviously not the best. This is my DB structure: As you can see I need to insert the comments textarea to ticketcomments among the user who wrote it, etc. On crmentity the description field. Then on ticketcf the fields that I need to submit from form, are this (because you wont know if I don't tell you because of the field names): tcf.cf594 AS Type, tcf.cf675 AS Suscription, tcf.cf770 AS ID_PRODUCT, tcf.cf746 AS NotificationDate, tcf.cf747 AS ResponseDate, tcf.cf748 AS ResolutionDate, And, of course, every table needs to have the same ticketid id for the submitted form, so we can retrieve it with one simple query. It will be easy to do with plain SQL instead of using DQL and Symfony2 forms, but is not a good way to do it. Also, here's my "Ticket list" query, if you need it to have it more clear... The trigger is that whenever the primary key Id is greater than 32145, then channelNum=101 should be set. I want to set the attrib name - text also, but I got the compilation issue. • Incorrect usage of UPDATE and ORDER BY

  I have written some code to update certain rows of a table with a decreasing sequence of numbers. To select the correct rows I have to JOIN two tables. The last row in the table needs to have a value of 0, the second last -1 and so on. To achieve this I use ORDER BY DESC. Unfortunately my code brings up the following error: Incorrect usage of UPDATE and ORDER BY My reading suggests that I can't use UPDATE, JOIN and ORDER BY together. I've read that maybe subqueries might help? I don't really have any idea how to change my code to do this.   I get the following error while openning a .xls file in Libreoffice Calc, Ubuntu 12.04 [LibreOffice 3.5.5.2; Build ID: 350m 1 (Build:2)] To overcome this I checked the LibreOffice Security Level to Low under Macro Security (from Tools---- Options--- Security tab. Then I went ahead intalling java by running the following commands from the terminal window (with some tips from various forums) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libreoffice libreoffice-java-common libreoffice-math libreoffice-gnome libreoffice-java-common Still I got the BASIC runtime error (as in the title), even after clicking Tools---- Options ---- Java and checking the 'Use a Java runtime environment option' and then clicking on 'Sun Microsystems Inc' under listed JRE environments installed. Even I ran the following commands to install latest Java run time environments from terminal window sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre icedtea-7-plugin But still I get the same Basicruntime error (details as in the title bar). This particular file opens perfectly in Microsoft Excel 2007, in Win XP Professional.

• Failure connecting to Dell MD3200i from XenServer 6.2 pool

  This question also asked at Citrix Forums http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=332289 I have a MD3200i that is currently working fine with my Xen5.6 pool, but I cannot get a connection to the new 6.2 pool to work. I previously had a problem with a 6.0 upgrade (which is why the old pool is still on 5.6), but rolled back rather than fix it as it wasn't urgent at the time. This install is on new machines - I tried 6.1 first (which had the same problems) then 6.2 was released the second day after installation so I switched to that. I've not installed anything from the Dell resource DVD at this point - I can't find anything saying I should, and everything I have read suggests it shouldn't be necessary. I can ping all 8 ip addresses from both servers in the pool, iscsiadm -m discovery works fine, I can login to the nodes and iscsiadm reports the sessions active correctly. I've added the required sections to multipath.conf, but multipath -ll reports DM multipath kernel driver not loaded immediately after boot. • Why do I get this error trying to compile libxml2?

  Although, I installed libxml2 once and reinstalled it for a few times. I cannot compile c-source code because compiler cannot find where the header file is.   I'm new to PHP and have a two part question. I need to take rows from two separate tables, and arrange them in descending order by their date. The rows do not correspond in order or number and have no relationship with each other. ---EDIT--- They each contain updates on a site, one table holds text, links, dates, titles etc. from a blog. The other has titles, links, specifications, etc. from images. I want to arrange some basic information (title, date, small description) in an updates section on the main page of the site, and for it to be in order of date. Merging them into one table and modifying it to suit both types isn't what I'd like to do here, the blog table is Wordpress' standard wp_posts and I don't feel comfortable adding columns to make it suit the image table too. • SBS2003 to SBS2011 Migration - Installation Error

  Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 to 2011 Migration. I followed the Migration Guide from Microsoft and the source server had no errors when running the various tests prior to the migration. I have completed the destination server setup using the Answer File and the server is up and running. It all looks good, I can access Exchange and AD and the only problem is the error message when you log in stating that the setup did not complete and to check the logs. Because all looks good I am continuing the migration to the destination server. I also have to state that this client does not use Sharepoint at all. Do I have to redo everything? • Why is this PHP loop rendering every row twice?

  I'm working on a real frankensite here not of my own design. There's a rudimentary CMS and one of the pages shows customer records from a MySQL DB. But everything looks ok to me. You'll notice that the customer name is clickable; clicking takes you to another page where you can view their full info as held in the DB - and for both rows, the customer ID is identical, and manually checking the DB shows there's no duplicate entries. The code is definitely rendering each row twice, but for what reason I have no idea. All pointers / advice appreciated.
