  • Good JavaScript engine for animating via Sprite Sheets (not in canvas)

    I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

  • Sharepoint, error on adding a webpart to a totally new page.

    I have a problem on adding a webpart to sharepoint page. I have a blank page in the sharepoint, and I have a custom control uploaded to the site, on adding the webpart the the sharepoint page I get the following error: "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))" I get that error even if the sharepoint page is totally blank and so is the web part.

  • Unable to find assembly, C#

    So, here's the deal. I've got two ASP.NET applications, both of which use SQLServer Session State management. They also both use the same server. I've got a custom session class in an external DLL, which fully implements serialization, and which both applications have referenced. Each application, in turn, has a class which inherits from the DLL class, and both applications use their own respective classes for their session state. Now, what I was trying to accomplish was that if you wanted to go to the other application, it could look in the session (they all use the same session key) and treat the existing object there as the base (the one from the DLL), extract whatever login info you need, then overwrite the session object with your own. Unfortunately, when the second application attempts to read the session, it seems that it looks for the DLL of the first application, and when it can't find it, it throws an exception. Is there a flaw in my logic?     i have given the user the option to upload his own aspx and code behind i will extract the path by the help of upload control and display the page onto the users home page, am thinking of using iframe but the problem of iframe is its size if fixed, are there any other ways of displaying page within a page without the use of iframes? and is there any efficient way of achieving the above goal? if there is no alternative please give a link explaining how privide resizing in iframes at the users end.

  • Removing Directions markers from the Google Maps API V3

    To remove a normal marker from a map, I understand you simply call marker.setMap(null), but when implementing the Google Maps directions services, it automatically adds markers A and B onto the map ( calculating directions from point A to point B ). I do not have control over these markers, so I cannot remove them in the normal way. So how can I remove these markers (I have custom markers on the map instead)?

    I'm looking for a replacement for JCaptcha, which doesn't seem to be maintained any more, and isn't very good to begin with. The replacement has to integrate nicely with JavaEE webapps. As I can see it, there are three options: JCaptcha - No longer maintained, crude API SimpleCaptcha - much nicer API, nicer captchas, but seems to be Java6 only ReCaptcha - easy to use, uses remote web-service to generate captchas, but not much control over look and feel Has anyone used any others, that they'd recommend?

I can't get it to view to display my data correctly, the toplevel items are shown but the childnodes are nowhere to be seen. More info: I have a wcf service that delivers a list of Categories with nested subcategories to my viewmodel (I made sure to explicitly include my subcategory data).     In what circumstances would updating a UI control from a non-UI thread could cause the processes' handles to continually increase, when using a delegate and .InvokeRequired?
