  Hi I am writing a web app (mainly iphone targeted) where the user has to enter their dob as part of the log in, I need this to be <input type = 'password'however I also want to enable the numeric section of the keyboard. I would usually change the type attr to 'number' however as this needs to be hidden I wondered if there was another way to activate the numeric pad Cheers!   Hello there, I have an iMac with ATI Radeon 2600HD which supports Fragment_shader_arb. But whenever I use that function, it crashes the program. Ironically, it works on a windows installation in the same machine without any problems. I'm running OS X 10.6.2; Can anyone please help me out! P.S. Vertex shaders work fine without any problem. • Why an ASP.NET web site gets recompiled when renaming or deleting a folder inside

  Hi everybody, I develop a simple file manager inside an ASP.NET Web site (not web application). I notice that every time I rename or delete a folder, the site gets recompiled - i.e. the very next web request after delete or rename operation takes considerably much time to execute. It's only true for folders, not for files. Why does this occur? P.S. I use WebDev server (Cassini), haven't tested in on IIS yet.

• How to crop scanned image using C#?

  I have a scanned image of a book page and i need to crop this scan for leaving only page area. I tried to use AForge to detect page borders, but it doesn't work because the space which i need to crop may consist of little "light" areas (due to scanner quality) and edge detector detects borders there. That's why this is bad idea as for me. Could you recommend something? P.S. Please don't tell me to use non-free libraries.

  I installed ghostscript and updated the appropriate path variables ... however, I'm getting an error when I try to execute this command: C:\PROGRA~1\gs\gs8.64\lib>pdf2ps mydocument.pdf mydocument.ps Access is denied.   Hi, Is it possible to do an 'exact full text search' with CONTAINS. I have removed all noise words etc. but the dbms still seems to manipulate the 'exact word' (e.g. 'j-blade - blade'). Database contains no sensitive info, just test tables, and is visible only from 127.0.0.1 I want phpMyAdmin already be logged in as root user with password 1234 (for example) when I open it. • C++ to python communication. Multiple io streams?

  A python program opens a new process of the C++ program and is reading the processes stdout. No problem so far. But is it possible to have multiple streams like this for communication? I can get two if I misuse stderr too, but not more. Easy way to hack this would be using temporary files. Is there something more elegant that does not need a detour to the filesystem?   I use Javascript to click a link in the webbrowser control. But I don't want to hear IE's "click" sound. Is there anyway to do this? P.S. I don't want to change system settings.
