  • Eclipse CDT: Import source / header files into my new project, without duplicating them

    Hi all, Im sure there is a very simple solution for this. I have a bunch of .cpp / .h files from a project, say in directory ~/files On the other hand, I want to create a c++ project using eclipse to work on those files, so I put my workspace on ~/wherever. Then I create a c++ project: ~/wherever/project, and include the source files (located in /~files). The problem i'm having is that files are now duplicated in ~/wherever/project, and I would like to avoid that, specially so I know which copy of the file to commit. Is this possible? Im sure it is, but cant get it. Thanks in advance.

  • http request to cgi python script successful, but the script doesn't seem to run

(this already works) On success, I want to execute the python script to resize the image. I found a book "Pro SpringSource dm server" where the author has explained a way to migrate WAR to OSGi bundles. I successfully migrated the application given in book. The first step of migration says that remove the lib folder in WEB-INF directory and import all the relevant packages. I did the same. Application has been successfully deployed in the dm server. But when I tried to connect to URL it is giving me the error: SpringSource dm Server - Error report HTTP Status 503 - Servlet action is currently unavailable type: Status report message: Servlet action is currently unavailable description: The requested service (Servlet action is currently unavailable) is not currently available. What could be the reason for this? I am out of clues to solve this issue. Can you pass any help you may have. Thanks in anvance.

    I am trying to create a javascript widget which can be placed on any webpage and uses facebook connect to authenticate the user. What I have done is that,in any html file you put a javascript which has a document.write to show the widget. <script type="text/javascript" src="button.js"></script> On clicking the widget, the facecook login happens if the user is not already logged in to facebook (Single Sign On). There are no problems when I am putting the HTML file and the js file in the same directory as specified in the facebook connect URL. However, when I put the HTML file in some other folder and specify the absolute path to the js folder I get the warning "Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL (XXXXXXX) must have the application's Connect URL as prefix" The login however happens? How can this be resolved?

(I can provide the makefile if it's relevant.) I can compile TestMe.cpp from a command-line with no problem: g++ TestMe.cpp -IC:\gtest-1.5.0\gtest-1.5.0\include -L../gtest/staticlib -lgtest -o TestMe.exe It runs as expected. However, I cannot get this to compile in Qt. My Qt project file, in the same directory: SOURCES += TestMe.cpp INCLUDEPATH += C:\gtest-1.5.0\gtest-1.5.0\include LIBS += -L../gtest/staticlib -lgtest This results in 17 "unresolved external symbol" errors related to gtest functions. I'm pulling my hair out here, as I'm sure it's something simple. Any ideas?

  • msysgit bash shell- how to troubleshoot "cannot find command"

    I need help getting git extensions to run with msysgit. I have had bad luck with extensions git-tfs and git-fetchall, in both cases it is the same problem. The addon will require a file to be placed where git can find it (git-tfs.exe and git-fetchall.sh). I understand this to mean the files need to be in a directory that is in the 'PATH' environment variable. In both cases I get stuck at this point: $ git-diffall bash: git-diffall: command not found or: $ git-tfs bash: git-tfs: command not found When I run echo %PATH% from a regular command shell, it shows my path variable includes the directories where git-diffall and git-tfs are. How can I debug this, or am I missing something? Is there a way within msysgit to verify the command search path is what I expect?

  • How do I debug a DLL from VS2008?

    I have a program written in VB.Net (Visual Studio 2008) that uses a DLL written in Visual C++ by another developer. I'd like to be able to step in to the C++ code as my code makes calls to methods in the DLL. Since the DLL is it's own solution, I don't think it can be included in my solution/project. I tried putting the DLLs pdb file in the debug/bin directory with the rest of my build and pdb files. However, when I get to the point in stepping through my code, and it gets to the dll call, it just steps right over the dll code. Do I have to manually load symbols? Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

In config i have [gitosis] [group gitosis-admin] writable = gitosis-admin members = me@server me@laptop [group prj1] writable = prj1 members = me@laptop and in /home/git/repositories i have created directory prj1.git with empty git repo. i can work with gitosis-admin from server and laptop without problems, but when i'm trying to git clone prj1 on my laptop i see $ git clone git@server:prj1.git Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/alec/temp/prj1/.git/ fatal: no matching remote head ok, lets push prj1 from laptop to server: $ git push origin master:refs/heads/master ERROR:gitosis.serve.main:Repository read access denied fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly Whats wrong?

  • Running a custom VirtualPathProvider with a PreCompiled website

    Hi, currently I have a custom VirtualPathProvider in a Asp.net MVC web application. This VirtualPathProvider checks the Area from the route "/{Area}/{Controller}/..." and uses the NameSpace.{Area}.Main.dll module to return the views that are contained in that assembly as Embedded Resources. This works great and I don't have to deploy any ascx, js, css files. Now my problem is this: I would like to precompile the aspx and ascx files in the assembly and instead of having the views as embedded resources I would have the view class with all the Response.Write and dings and dongs. I can precompile the views using the aspnet_compiler but I keep getting an error when ever the ViewEngine tries to find the view and fails. My main goal is to have a way for the first time usage of a certain view/usercontrol would be faster and don't wait for the compilation to happen. This is a requirement since the application could be grouped into plugins and this plugins be deployed into the Bin directory. Any thoughts? With best regards Carlos Sobrinho

However there is an inconsistent behaviour. Sometimes when I run the script, it throws IOException with the messsage The directory is not empty. But when i rerun the script it works fine. However, it doesn't seem to be an issue in practice, and makes some things a tad easier for me. How about other SCM systems? (Edit this post to add them.) What advantages or disadvantages have you found by not tracking directories? (Each one separately in an answer, please.) Do track directories: Subversion Bazaar/bzr (add one!)     So I've got some images stored in a MySQL database as BLOB's (I know it's better to just store the directory and do it that way, but this is what I need to do for now) and I need to display them on a webpage. Now, I know how to make a script and give it an image header and pull the img src from there, but I have a lot of images from different places for different uses, so I'd have to make a ton of these scripts and I'd rather not clutter up my files like that. Anyway, does anyone know of a function or something I can use to display the image that will run on the same page?

  • Getting a 404 when setting up MVC in IIS 6 and using .NET 4 beta 2

    Hi all, I've completed this set up on a fair few IIS 6 boxes, but one is giving me a tough time. The problem occurs when I add the application extension mapping to: c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0.21006\aspnet_isapi.dll When this is in place, I get a 404 error on every request. Even if I remove all files from the application directory apart from a basic test.htm and navigate to that, I still get a 404. I've unchecked the "Verify that file exists" I've set up a .NET 4 application pool and pointed my application to that I've changed the ASP.NET version to 4.0.21006 I've checked the IIS log file, and there's nothing useful in there (it only shows the first bunch of requests after each reboot and then stops logging) I've checked the application event log and nothing gets reported I've installed MVC 2 I've copied the set up onto another box, just to be sure, following all the same steps - and it all works! What else can I look out for?? N.B: If I set .NET to v2 in IIS, then I can successfully navigate to \test.htm

    Situation I have about 400 csproj files using project references. About 3 of those a separate team wants to fork and incorporate into a standalone app. I branched the 3 projects of interest, and because the separate team uses a diff SVN repo I used svn externals to pull in these projects into the folder of the standalone app. Obviously since this team uses a different folder structure the project references no longer resolve. Attempted Solution I figured setting the msbuild properties ReferencePath and AdditionalLibPaths to point to a directory with all the precompiled dependencies would allow the project references a fallback point and resolve correctly. However that doesn't appear to be the case. Question Does anybody know a way to have a failed projectreference look up resolve to the precompiled dll? Perhaps point me to an automated tool to convert projectreferences to dll references? Or is there a better way to solve this problem? Thanks

    If my Perl code has a production code location and "test" code location (e.g. production Perl code us in /usr/code/scripts, test Perl code is in /usr/code/test/scripts; production Perl libraries are in /usr/code/lib/perl and test versions of those libraries are in /usr/code/test/lib/perl, is there an easy way for me to achieve such a setup? The exact requirements are: The code must be THE SAME in production and test location. To clarify, to promote any code (library or script) from test to production, the ONLY thing which needs to happen is literally issuing cp command from test to prod location - both the file name AND file contents must remain identical. Test versions of scripts must call other test scripts and test libraries (if exist) or production libraries (if test libraries do not exist) The code paths must be the same between test and production with the exception of base directory (/usr/code/ vs /usr/code/test/) I will present how we solved the problem as an answer to this question, but I'd like to know if there's a better way.

Even Annie that runs so well in gate doesn't run, or better, it stay for indefinite time processing, a thing that should take no more than a couple of seconds. I run wizard, set input directory, leave file pattern as default and set a folder and name for the output ontology, shouldn't it be enough? Shouldn't i get something, even an error?     Common problem, but I'm stumped. Session variables are passing across pages on my local (localhost) deployment, but not on my (www) host. I use a common includes file for each page with this code: $sessionDomain = "/"; @ini_set("session.cookie_path",$sessionDomain); $sessionName = "ccSID".md5('/store/'); session_name($sessionName); session_start(); I confirmed that the session ID cookie (ccSIDxxxxx...) remains the same across pages in my browser, but session variables don't seem to hold up when changing to a page in a different directory.

  • Generating new sources via Maven plugin after compile phase

    I have a Maven project within which I need execute two code generation steps. One generates some Java types, then the second depends on those Java types to generate some more code. Is there a way to have both of these steps happening during my build? At the moment my steps are: execute first code generation plugin (during generate-sources) add directory of generated types to build path execute second code generation plugin (during compile) However my problem is that anything generated by the second code generation plugin will not be compiled (because the compile phase has finished). If I attach the second code generation plugin to an earlier phase, it fails because it needs the classes from the first code generation plugin to be present on the classpath. I know I could split this into two modules with one dependent on the other, but I was wondering if this could be achieved in one pom. It seems like a need a way to invoke compile again after the normal compile phase is complete. Any ideas?

  • Why is Visual Studio 2008 stuck in debug mode when compiling

    I have a .NET project that for some reason gets stuck in debug mode. I've changed the compile mode from debug to release in the toolbar, but my project ends up in the debug directory anyway. Seems like VS is not updating the SLN file or something. Please help! The reason I am asking about this is because it seems that there are weak references "ENCList" clogging up memory when my program runs, and they seem to be created when .NET apps are compiled in debug (or so says other sources I've found online). -Mark

    Hello All I would like to develop such iphone application that provides functionality to download viedo. i am doing some as below 1) Loading HTML content on web view 2) The loaded html content contains the video link (i.e http://test.com/test.mp4") 3) When i click on that it will play the video in native player. 4) but i would like to prevent this thing and start downloading video from that URL for example, if i click on link it should not open native video player, it should start downloading from that url and store somewhere on iphone (i.e document directory) is there any solution for same?
