I'm sorry I can't provide a link, I work on a local server currently. It works perfectly =) but... my problem is : an <input type="text" /> won't be clickable in this environment. I tried the others type of input, radio, checkbox, file : works. But text does not. I can specify a value on my input (it's its purpose on my work : a search in a database for datas to be modified and reinjected in database). In fact, I can access to the text input by clicking-right in then left. But it's pretty 'unergonomic', and in my project it's unthinkable. Ah, and I tried to style this input with a style="z-index:1000;", no changes, I think it's not a CSS problem. Does anybody have an idea ? Thank you very much in advance.

File Output using Gforth

As a first project I have been writing a short program to render the Mandelbrot fractal. I have got to the point of trying to output my results to a file ( e.g. .bmp or .ppm ) and got stuck. I have not really found any examples of exactly what I am trying to do, but I have found two examples of code to copy from one file to another. The examples in the Gforth documentation ( Section 3.27 ) did not work for me ( winXP ) in fact they seemed to open and create files but not write to files properly. It seems that the problem was due to not flushing the relevant buffers or explicitly closing the file. How to use input type="tel" in a contact form

PHP newbie here trying to use a simple contact form. The fields I have are: "Name", "Email", "Phone", and "Message". I am trying to figure out what to do with the "Phone" field – I want it to output to the same place that "Message" does, so that when the email is received it will output both the message and the phone number to the body of the email. Difficulty with jQuery and input keydown event

I am making a simple JavaScript enhanced list. I want it to be a list of inputs, each with an 'Add' and 'Remove' button. If the user clicks 'Add', a new li will be added. If the user clicks 'Remove', that li will be removed. It works fine, except for hitting "enter" in an <input>. Currently, it always causes the Remove.click event handler to fire, unless there's only one item in the list. I'm not sure why. How can I suppress this? Here is the complete jQuery. My attempt to fix the "enter" issue is commented out, and it doesn't work. Running a command that produces no output with SharpSSH

I want to run a command using ssh. How to make radio button options dependent on other radio button choices using Mootools?

I have a form where there are 6 items, each of which can be ranked from 1-6 in order of importance. Here's a screenshot. Basically, I need to set it up so that if one item gets a ranking of 3 (for example), then "3" becomes disabled for all the other items. Therefore, the user should only be able to select a number that hasn't already been selected for each item (so we can ensure that the items really will be ranked 1-6 and no numbers will be repeated for different items). How to find first non-repetitive character from a string?

I've spent half day trying to figure out this and finally I got working solution. However, I feel like this can be done in simpler way. I think this code is not really readable. Problem: Find first non-repetitive character from a string. $string = "abbcabz" In this case, the function should output "c". The reason I use concatenation instead of $input[index_to_remove] = '' in order to remove character from a given string is because if I do that, it actually just leave empty cell so that my return value $input[0] does not not return the character I want to return. SVM Classification - minimum number of input sets for each class

Im trying to build an app to detect images which are advertisements from the webpages. Once I detect those Ill not be allowing those to be displayed on the client side. From the help that I got here in stackoverflow, I thought SVM is the best approach to my aim. So, I have coded SVM and an SMO myself. The dataset which I have got from UCI data repository has 3280 instances ( Link to Dataset- http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Internet+Advertisements )where around 400 of them are from class representing Advertisement images and rest of them representing non-advertisement images. Right now Im taking the first 2800 input sets and training the SVM. But after looking at the accuracy rate I realised that most of those 2800 input sets are from non-advertisement image class. So Im getting very good accuracy for that class. So what can I do here? About how many input set shall I give to SVM to train and how many of them for each class? Thanks. Cheers. I have come across some strange behaviour, and I'm assuming a bug in firefox, when removing a input submit element from the DOM from within the click event. The following code reproduces the issue: <form name="test_form"> <input type="submit" value="remove me" onclick="this.parentNode.removeChild(this);" /> <input type="submit" value="submit normally" /> <input type="button" value="submit via js" onclick="document.test_form.submit();" /> </form> To reproduce: Click "remove me" Click "submit via js". Note that the form does not get submitted, this is the problem. Click "submit normally". Note that the form still gets submitted normally. It appears that, under Firefox, if you remove a submit button from within the click event it puts the form in an invalid state so that any future calls to form.submit() are simply ignored. But it is a javascript-specific issue as normal submit buttons within this form still function fine. To be honest, this is such a simple example of this issue that I was expecting the internet to be awash with other people exeriencing it, but so far searching has yealded nothing useful. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, did you get to the bottom of it? Many thanks

Need help modifying C++ application to accept continuous piped input in Linux

The goal is to mine packet headers for URLs visited using tcpdump. So far, I can save a packet header to a file using: tcpdump "dst port 80 and tcp[13] & 0x08 = 8" -A -s 300 | tee -a ./Desktop/packets.txt And I've written a program to parse through the header and extract the URL when given the following command: cat ~/Desktop/packets.txt | ./packet-parser.exe But what I want to be able to do is pipe tcpdump directly into my program, which will then log the data: tcpdump "dst port 80 and tcp[13] & 0x08 = 8" -A -s 300 | ./packet-parser.exe Here is the script as it is. Ubuntu 11.10 - How can i stop self-feedback-loop, coming directly from my microphone to speaker?

I have microphone audio, which comes instantly to my speaker. I am using default pulseaudio and alsa from the package. I have tried to setup: 1) PA /etc/pulse/default.pa /etc/asound.conf $ ls analog-input-aux.conf analog-input-fm.conf analog-input-mic.conf analog-input-tvtuner.conf analog-output-desktop-speaker.conf analog-output-mono.conf analog-input.conf analog-input-front-mic.conf analog-input-mic.conf.common analog-input-video.conf analog-output-headphones-2.conf analog-output-speaker.conf analog-input.conf.common analog-input-internal-mic.conf analog-input-mic-line.conf analog-output.conf analog-output-headphones.conf iec958-stereo-output.conf analog-input-dock-mic.conf analog-input-linein.conf analog-input-rear-mic.conf analog-output.conf.common analog-output-lfe-on-mono.conf 2) ALSA in lsmod to make sure no loopback modules are loaded etc but none is resolving it. And there are many less information available on this. Has anyone similar problem solution in Ubuntu 11.10? (this problem i have resolved in Ubuntu 11.04 by replacing the default pulseaudio version to latest source from git, but while trying the same in Ubuntu 11.10 does not worked). Any tips please?

oracle pl/sql bug: can't put_line more than 2000 characters

Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon where dbms_output.put_line is unable to print more than 2000 characters at a time? Script is: set serveroutput on size 100000; declare big_str varchar2(2009); begin for i in 1..2009 loop big_str := big_str||'x'; end loop; dbms_output.put_line(length(big_str)); dbms_output.put_line(big_str); end; / I copied and pasted the output into an editor (Notepad++) which told me there were only 2000 characters, not 2009 which is what I think should have been pasted. This also happens with a few of my test scripts - only 2000 characters get printed. I have a workaround to print like this: dbms_output.put_line(length(big_str)); dbms_output.put_line(substr(big_str,1,1999)); dbms_output.put_line(substr(big_str,2000)); This adds new lines to the output, makes it hard to read when the text you're working with is preformatted. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it really a bug or some sort of obscure feature? Is there a better workaround? Is there any other information on this out there? Oracle version is: 10.2.0.3.0, using PL/SQL Developer (from Allround Automation).

I'm trying to get a Curl Response from an outside server, however I noticed I cant neither PING the server in question nor connect to it. I tried disabling the iptables firewall but I had no success. My server is running behind a Cisco Linksys WRTN310N Router with the DD-wrt firmware Installed. In which I already disabled the firewall. Debugging HTML & JavaScript with Firebug

I made a JSONP widget. However, when one of the partner sites put it in their page, (1) it doesn't render at all in IE and (2) in other browsers (Firefox & Google Chrome), the HTML of the widget renders incorrectly: the <aside> closes prematurely, before the Financial Aid Glossary. It's something specific to that page because it works fine on this example college resource center page. To fix these two issues, I tried saving the page source to a local file and messing around with the local file and with Firebug, deleting DOM elements and stuff. I even tried fixing the errors that The W3C Markup Validation Service found. But, I still couldn't get it to render correctly. How should I tell them to change their page so that the widget renders correctly? Or, how should I update the widget script I wrote? Programming R/Sweave for proper \Sexpr output

Hi I'm having a bit of a problem programming R for Sweave, and the #rstats twitter group often points here, so I thought I'd put this question to the SO crowd. I'm an analyst- not a programmer- so go easy on me my first post. Here's the problem: I am drafting a survey report in Sweave with R and would like to report the marginal returns in line using \Sexpr{}. For example, rather than saying: Only 14% of respondents said 'X'. I want to write the report like this: Only \Sexpr{p.mean(variable)}$\%$ of respondents said 'X'. The problem is that Sweave() converts the results of the expression in \Sexpr{} to a character string, which means that the output from expression in R and the output that appears in my document are different. For example, above I use the function 'p.mean': p.mean<- function (x) {options(digits=1) mmm<-weighted.mean(x, weight=weight, na.rm=T) print(100*mmm) } In R, the output looks like this: p.mean(variable) >14 but when I use \Sexpr{p.mean(variable)}, I get an unrounded character string (in this case: 13.5857142857143) in my document. I have tried to limit the output of my function to 'digits=1' in the global environment, in the function itself, and and in various commands. It only seems to contain what R prints, not the character transformation that is the result of the expression and which eventually prints in the LaTeX file. as.character(p.mean(variable)) >[1] 14 >[1] "13.5857142857143" Does anyone know what I can do to limit the digits printed in the LaTeX file, either by reprogramming the R function or with a setting in Sweave or \Sexpr{}? I was planning to use LESS css in my project (PHP). I am planning to use its nested @media query feature. I find that it fails to group the multiple media queries in the output css it generates. performance problem looping through table rows

Hi, I am using jquery to loop through table rows and save the data. If the table has 200 rows it is performing slow. Output iterator's value_type

Why do output iterators define value_type as void? It would be useful for an algorithm to know what type of value it is supposed to output. Unwanted Shell expansion when assigning the output of a shell command to a variable

I am exporting a portion of a local prototypte svn repository to import into a different repo. We have a number of svn properties set throughout the repo so I figured I would write a script to list the file elements and their corresponding properties. How hard can that be right. So I write started writing a bash script that would assign the output of the svn proplist -v to a variable so I could check if the specified file had any properties. #!/bin/bash svn proplist -v $1 o=$(svn proplist -v "$1") echo $o now this works fine and echos the output of the svn proplist command. But if the proplist command returns something like svn:ignore : * build it performs a shell expansion on the * and inserts the entire directory listing prior to the build property value. So if the directory had a.txt, b.txt and build files/dirs in it, the output would look like. svn:ignore a.txt b.txt build I figure I need to somehow escape the output or something to keep the expansion from happening, but have yet to find something that works. There are other ways to do this, but I hate when I cannot figure something out. and I have to admin, I think this one beat me ( well given the time I can spend on it )

KDE: How can I select audio output device for mplayer?

I recently installed Kubuntu 13.10 64-bit, and I'm having a problem with selecting audio output device. In Phonon, when I select audio device preference order and press Apply, Amarok and Dragon will immediately switch to the preferred device. VLC and SMplayer are not affected. VLC has its own setting for selecting the output device, but SMplayer remains a problem. It always plays audio on internal audio, and I can't change output to HDMI. How can I select HDMI for SMplayer's audio output device? I don't know if it matters, but when I select HDMI audio in Phonon and click Test, the test sound plays on the internal audio output as well. In the hardware settings tab, the front left and front right test buttons play audio on HDMI. Also, volume up/down buttons affect HDMI volume when SMplayer is focused. This would make sense if I could get SMplayer to play audio over HDMI, but it would be better if the volume keys affected SMplayer's own volume, or the "mplayer2: audio stream" which appears in volume control while mplayer is playing. EDIT: I've recompiled mplayer with alsa support, and can now select the audio output device from SMplayer's settings. Didn't affect the issue with Phonon of course, but it's a suitable workaround.

Currently, For data driven tests, I get the output of same testcase with different inputs as a sequence of tags , but there is no info about the value of the variants. Example: Suppose we have a [data driven]TestMethod1() and the data rows contain variations a and b. There are two variations a=1,b=2 for which the test passes and a=3,b=4 for which the test fails. If we can output the info that it was a=1,b=2 which passed and a=3 b=4 which failed in the trx file; the output will be meaningful. Better information about test case runs from the output file alone(without any dependencies). Investigating the test failure without rerunning the whole set If the data rows change in data source(now a=1,b=2 pass and a=5,b=6 fail) , easy to decipher that the errors are different; although the fail sequence is still the same(row 0 pass row 1 fail but now row1 is different) Has any of you gone through a similar problem? What did you follow? I tried to put the parameter value information in the Description attribute of TestMethod, it didnt work. Any other methods you think can work too? thanks, Shubhankar

How do you slow down the output from a DOS / windows command prompt

I have lots of experience of writing php scripts that are run in the context of a webserver and almost no epxerience of writing php scripts for CLI or GUI output. I have used the command line for linux but do not have much expereince with DOS. Lets say I have php script that is: <?php echo('Hello world'); for ($idx = 0 ; $idx < 100 ; $idx++ ) { echo 'I am line '. $idx . PHP_EOL; } Then, I run it in my DOS Command prompt: # php helloworld.php Now this will spurt out the output quckly and i have to scroll the DOS command window up to see the output. I want to see the output one 'screen full' at a time. How do you do that from the perspective of a DOS user? Furthermore, although this is not my main main question, I would be also interested in knowing how to make the php script 'wait for input' from the command prompt.

Hello, I'm new to C++, and I'm trying to write a short C++ program that reads lines of text from a file, with each line containing one integer key and one alphanumeric string value (no embedded whitespace). The number of lines is not known in advance, (i.e., keep reading lines until end of file is reached). The program needs to use the 'std::map' data structure to store integers and strings read from input (and to associate integers with strings). The program then needs to output string values (but not integer values) to standard output, 1 per line, sorted by integer key values (smallest to largest). So, for example, suppose I have a text file called "data.txt" which contains the following three lines: 10 dog -50 horse 0 cat -12 zebra 14 walrus The output should then be: horse zebra cat dog walrus I've pasted below the progress I've made so far on my C++ program: #include <fstream> #include <iostream> #include <map> using namespace std; using std::map; int main () { string name; signed int value; ifstream myfile ("data.txt"); while (! myfile.eof() ) { getline(myfile,name,'\n'); myfile >> value >> name; cout << name << endl; } return 0; myfile.close(); } Unfortunately, this produces the following incorrect output: horse cat zebra walrus If anyone has any tips, hints, suggestions, etc. on changes and revisions I need to make to the program to get it to work as needed, can you please let me know?
