  • Why is Hibernate not loading a column?

    - by B.R.
    I've got an entity with a few properties that gets used a lot in my Hibernate/GWT app. For the most part, everything works fine, but Hibernate refuses to load one of the properties. It doesn't appear in the query, despite being annotated correctly in the entity. The relevant portion of the entity: @Column(name="HasSubSlots") @Type(type="yes_no") public boolean hasSubSlotSupport() { return hasSubSlotSupport; } And the generated SQL query: Hibernate: /* load entities.DeviceModel */ select devicemode0_.DevModel as DevModel1_0_, devicemode0_.InvModelName as InvModel2_1_0_ from DeviceModels devicemode0_ where devicemode0_.DevModel=? Despite the fact that I refer to that property, it's never loaded, lazily or not, and the getter always returns false. Any ideas on how I can dig deeper into this, or what might be wrong?

  • Sorting results by a char(1) column

    - by Brandon
    I have a stored procedure which basically does something like select top 1 expiryDate, flag, (bunch of other columns) from someTable (bunch of joins) order by expiryDate desc So this will grab the record that expires last. This works for most cases, except some records have a flag that are just a char(1). Most of the time it's just Y or N. So it'll return something like 2010-12-31 N 2010-10-05 Y 2010-08-05 N 2010-03-01 F 2010-01-31 N This works, most of the time, but is there any way to order it by the Flag column as well? So I'd want to group the results by Y, then N, and F and any other flags can go last in any order. I thought this would just be an order by, but since the flags are not weighted by the alphabetic value, I'm a little stumped. (Note: These are not my tables, I don't know if using the characters like this was a good idea or not, but it's not something I can change).

  • Getting changes in one column of an historical table

    - by Javi
    Hello, I have a table which stores historical data. It's mapped to an Entity with the following fields (I use JPA with Hibernate implementation): @Entity @Table(name="items_historical") public class ItemHistory{ private Integer id; private Date date; @Enumerated(EnumType.ORDINAL) private StatusEnum status @ManyToOne(optional=false) private User user; @ManyToOne(optional=false) private Item item; } public enum StatusEnum { OK, BAD,...//my status } In every row I store historical data of another table. I need to get the list of the changes on "status" column: the status, the date and the previous status on a specified item (It would be good as well getting the status and date when status was changed). I don't know if this is possible by using HQL. Thanks.

  • question about adding another column to a sql statement

    - by every_answer_gets_a_point
    i am starting with this table: SELECT [Lab Occurrence Form].[Practice Code], [Lab Occurrence Form].[1 0 Preanalytical (Before Testing)], Count([Lab Occurrence Form].[1 0 Preanalytical (Before Testing)]) AS [CountOf1 0 Preanalytical (Before Testing)] FROM [Lab Occurrence Form] WHERE ((([Lab Occurrence Form].[Occurrence Date]) Between [Forms]![By Number]![Text4] And [Forms]![By Number]![Text2])) GROUP BY [Lab Occurrence Form].[Practice Code], [Lab Occurrence Form].[1 0 Preanalytical (Before Testing)] HAVING ((([Lab Occurrence Form].[Practice Code])<>"") AND ((Count([Lab Occurrence Form].[1 0 Preanalytical (Before Testing)]))<>0)); it selects 3 columns but i need to aggregate the comments and put it in the fourth column where the first two values are the same

  • Strange SQL problem selecting multiple values for same column

    - by Nubber
    Hello there, Been at this for a few hours now and I can't make any sense of it. I've used this way of selecting multiple values for same column a few times, but there is something weird with this one. SELECT * FROM employee as s INNER JOIN works AS w1 ON w1.name = s.name INNER JOIN employee AS w2 ON w2.name = s.name INNER JOIN employee AS w3 ON w3.name = s.name WHERE w2.city = 'Washington' Basically what I want to do is find all companies which have people in all the cities. The company name is under 'works'. The problem is however that if I have the WHERE w2.city='Washington' it will make ALL the cities match Washington when it should only touch w2 and leave w3 alone so I could match it with another value. Anyone know why its doing this? Or know a better way to do it. Thank you very much in advance.

  • Inserting empty string into auto_increment column in MySQL 5

    - by QmunkE
    Hi, I've inherited a project which we are trying to migrate to MySQL 5 from MySQL 4.0(!) and from myISAM to InnoDB. Queries are now falling down because they are being constructed using an ADODB connection's -qstr() on all parameters, including ints. Where no value is provided I end up with: INSERT INTO tablename VALUES ('', 'stuff'...) where the first column is an auto_increment. This causes an error (fair enough since '' isn't an int). Is there a switch in MySQL to make it behave as it used to (I assume it just silently converted to 0?) Thanks.

The reason is that when i do find on the table elements its actually retrieving the children table elements. Can some one pls help. I want a two column table.. Thank you. sample code: var tr = $("#maintable tbody tr:first"); if(!tr.length || tr.find("td:first").length >= max) { $("#maintable").append("<tr>"); } if(count==0) { $("#maintable tr:last").append("<td>hi"+content+"</td>"); }

  • Rails - column not found for defined 'has_many' relationship

    - by Guanlun
    I define a Post class which can link or be linked to multiple posts. To do this I added a PostLink class which specifies post_to and post_from. I generated the PostLink class by rails g model post_link from_post:integer to_post:integer and of course rake db:migrate, and added belongs_to :from_post, :class_name => 'Post' belongs_to :to_post, :class_name => 'Post' to the class. And I also have has_many :post_links in my Post class. I ran rails console and Post.new.post_links and got nil printed out, which is expected. However after I save a Post using p = Post.new p.save and then run p.post_links, it prints out the following error message: SQLite3::SQLException: no such column: post_links.post_id: SELECT "post_links".* FROM "post_links" WHERE "post_links"."post_id" = 1 So anybody know why after saving it to the database post_link can not be accessed?

  • Rails: User specific sequential column

    - by Alex Marchant
    I have an inventory system, where a User has many inventory. We have a barcode column which needs to be sequential for each user. I run into a problem however when doing bulk association building. I end up getting several inventories for a user with the same barcode. For example: Inventory Table: id | user_id | barcode 1 | 1 | 1 2 | 1 | 2 3 | 2 | 1 4 | 2 | 2 5 | 1 | 3 In the Inventory model I have before_validation :assign_barcode, on: :create def assign_barcode self.barcode = (user.inventories.order(barcode: :desc).first.try(:barcode) || 0) + 1 end It generally works, but ran into a problem when seeding my db: (1..5).each do user.inventories.build(...) end user.save I end up with a bunch of inventories for user that have the same barcode. How can I ensure that inventories have unique barcodes even when adding inventories in bulk?

  • Is it necessary to mysql real escape when using alter table?

    - by cgwebprojects
    I noticed the other day that I cannot bind variables when using PDO with ALTER TABLE for example the following example will not work, $q = $dbc -> prepare("ALTER TABLE emblems ADD ? TINYINT(1) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', ADD ? DATETIME NOT NULL"); $q -> execute(array($emblemDB, $emblemDB . 'Date')); So is it necessary to use mysql_real_escape string and do it like below, // ESCAPE NAME FOR MYSQL INSERTION $emblemDB = mysql_real_escape_string($emblemDB); // INSERT EMBLEM DETAILS INTO DATABASE $q = $dbc -> prepare("ALTER TABLE emblems ADD " . $emblemDB . " TINYINT(1) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', ADD " . $emblemDB . "Date DATETIME NOT NULL"); $q -> execute(); Or do I not need to add in mysql_real_escape_string? As the only thing the query can do is ADD columns? Thanks

  • Alter a function as a parameter before evaluating it in R?

    - by Shane
    Is there any way, given a function passed as a parameter, to alter its input parameter string before evaluating it? Here's pseudo-code for what I'm hoping to achieve: test.func <- function(a, b) { # here I want to alter the b expression before evaluating it: b(..., val1=a) } Given the function call passed to b, I want to add in a as another parameter without needing to always specify ... in the b call. So the output from this test.func call should be: test.func(a="a", b=paste(1, 2)) "1" "2" "a" Edit: Another way I could see doing something like this would be if I could assign the additional parameter within the scope of the parent function (again, as pseudo-code); in this case a would be within the scope of t1 and hence t2, but not globally assigned: t2 <- function(...) { paste(a=a, ...) } t1 <- function(a, b) { local( { a <<- a; b } ) } t1(a="a", b=t2(1, 2)) This is somewhat akin to currying in that I'm nesting the parameter within the function itself. Edit 2: Just to add one more comment to this: I realize that one related approach could be to use "prototype-based programming" such that things would be inherited (which could be achieved with the proto package). But I was hoping for a easier way to simply alter the input parameters before evaluating in R.

  • How can I set Thunderbird's "Recipient" column to display my email address rather than a friendly na

    - by Howiecamp
    After configuring a single, unified Inbox within Outlook 2007 to unify multiple email accounts, I found Thunderbird 3's Smart Folder feature. It works great, providing individual inboxes for each of your email accounts and a unified inbox which provides a unified, virtual view of those other inboxes. Thunderbird is smart enough so what when I reply to an email addressed to a specific email account, the reply is "From" that email address. In order to know which inbound email was to which of my accounts, I added the "Recipient" column to the inbox Smart Folder: What's displayed in the Recipient column depends on how the sender/sender's email client addresses the email. If they send it to just "[email protected]" without specifying a friendly name, the Recipient column displays "[email protected]" and there's no ambiguity about which account the email was sent to. However, if the sender has me in their address book (likely stored with a friendly name), it will be addressed as "Howard Camp [[email protected]]" and then show in the Recipient column as "Howard Camp". The problem is that if someone emails me with a friendly name at another of my email accounts (e.g. "Howard Camp [[email protected]]", the Recipient column will also display "Howard Camp" and I can't tell which account it's to until I open the message and/or look at the details. How can I configure Thunderbird to always display my email address rather than the sender-specified friendly name in the Recipient column?

  • EXCEL generate a character in one column of a row, only if other columns in the same row are not bl

    - by Simon
    My speadsheet keeps track of when patients leave a specific floor of the hospital. There are columns in which where each patient goes is documented (1 column for "home", another column for "rehab facility", another for "other floor", etc.). Only when the patient leaves the hospital altogether does it count as a discharge, in which case the “discharge” column needs to have something in it. What formula can I use to generate, say, an "x" in the "discharge" column if certain "where they went" columns in the same row contain something, but not if there is nothing in any of them? Currently, to accomplish this I am using =IF(OR(M30,N30,O30,P30,Q30,R30,S30),"x") in row 3 of the "discharge" column (rows 1 and 2 are headings), and I have used "fill down" in all subsequent rows. To suppress the "FALSE" this formula yields when the condition is not true, I have applied conditonal formatting to the entire column that if the value=FALSE then the font is white (same colour as background). Is there a more efficient, elegant and idiot-proof way of doing this? The conditional formatting of text colour could potentially confuse everyone but the person who built the spreadsheet (me).

  • How to find the next generated value for a auto-increment column?

    - by Tim Büthe
    I face some trouble with IBM DB2's auto-increment columns. At first, all my columns were defined as GENERATED ALWAYS, but since I had trouble with this when using the "db2 import ..." command, I changed them to GENERATED BY DEFAULT. This is necessary, sinceI need the IDs to be consistent, because other tables reference them. So using "db2 import ... modified by identityignore ..." isn't an option. When I now import data, the IDs are inserted correctly, but everytime I do this, I have to remember to set a new start for the auto-increment column by getting the highest Id+1 and alter the column like this: SELECT MAX(mycolumn)+ 1 FROM mytable; ALTER TABLE mytable ALTER COLUMN mycolumn RESTART WITH <above_result>; If I forget this, an Insert-Statement will fail with an duplicate PK error, since the auto-increment column is the primary key. So my question is: Is there a way to find the next value for an auto-increment column, so I could write Statements that would check, if this value is less then the SELECT MAX and needs to be set? Or: Isn't this whole thing as complicated as it seems to me? Could I somehow import data, preserving the IDs and have the auto-increment column still working as expected?

  • CSS layout problem on Firefox with filling space between end of left column and footer

    - by Jean
    Basically, the left column is supposed to extend to the footer with the continuous red color. However, in Firefox on pages with lots of text, the column does not extend to the footer and leaves a large white gap--see site: http://library.luhs.org/JHSII/about.html I've tried readjusting the heights, creating the sticky footer, and other things I've read about on this site. So I admit that I'm stumped, and what's really odd is that the layout seems to work in IE as there is no white space! I didn't create the site, but I recently inherited it and trying to work through the mess Any help is much appreciated, here's the CSS #html,body{ margin:0; padding:0; border:0; height:100%; } #body{ background:#ffffff; min-width:965px; text-align:center; width: 600px; font: Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; } #.style7{ clear:both; height:1px; overflow:hidden; line-height:1%; font-size:0px; margin-bottom:-1px; } #fullheightcontainer{ margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; text-align:left; position:relative; width:965px; height:100%; } #wrapper{ min-height:100%; height:100%; background:#660000; background-color: #660000; background-repeat: repeat; } #wrapp\65 r{ height:auto; } # html wrapper{ height:100%; } #outer{ z-index:1; position:relative; margin-left:150px; width:815px; background:#FFFFFF; height:100%; background-color: #FFFFFF; } #left{ width:151px; float:left; display:inline; position:relative; margin-left:-150px; } padding: 20px; border: 0; margin: 0 0 0 240px *>html #left{width:150px;} #container-left{ width:150px; color: #CCCCCC; } * html #left{margin-right:-3px;} #center{ width:800px; float:right; display:inline; margin-left:-1px; } #clearheadercenter{ height:125px; overflow:hidden; } #clearfootercenter{ height:50px; overflow:hidden; } #footer{ z-index:1; position:relative; clear: both; width:965px; height:50px; overflow:hidden; margin-top:-50px; background-color: #660000; } #subfooter1{ background:#FFFFCC; text-align:left; margin-left:150px; height:50px; } #header{ z-index:1; position:absolute; top:0px; width:815px; margin-left:150px; height:100px; overflow:hidden; background-color: #660000; } #subheader1{ background:#FFFFCC; text-align:center; height:70px; } #gfx_bg_middle{ top:0px; position:absolute; height:100%; overflow:hidden; width:815px; margin-left:150px; background:#FFFFFF; } # html #gfx_bg_middle{ display:none; } #floatingnav { margin: 5px 10px 5px 5px; padding: 0px 5px 5px; float: right; font: .75em/1.35em Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; height: 600px; width: 300px; } #floatingnav a { color: #630; } #floatingnav ul { margin-top: -5; } #.floatright { float: right; margin: 0 0 10px 10px; border: 1px solid #666; padding: 2px; } #outer{ word-wrap:break-word; } #table.s1 { border-width: medium; border-spacing: 2px; border-style: none; border-color: rgb(85, 0, 0); border-collapse: collapse; background-color: white; } #table.s1 th { border-width: medium; padding: 2px; border-style: groove; border-color: red; background-color: white; -moz-border-radius: 0px 0px 0px 0px; } #table.s1 td { border-width: medium; padding: 2px; border-style: groove; border-color: #660000; background-color: #FFFFFF; -moz-border-radius: 0px 0px 0px 0px; } #a:link { color: #000066; } #a:visited { color: #000066; } #p.sample { font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: medium; line-height: 100%; word-spacing: normal; letter-spacing: normal; text-decoration: none; text-transform: none; text-align: left; text-indent: 0ex; }

There is no option to hide an entire row of a Grid. <Grid> <Canvas Name="canDemographic" > </Canvas> <Grid HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> • NHibernate AssertException: Interceptor.OnPrepareStatement(SqlString) returned null or empty SqlString.

    - by jwynveen
    I am trying to switch a table from being a many-to-one mapping to being many-to-many with an intermediate mapping table. However, when I switched it over and tried to do a query on it with NHibernate, it's giving me this error: "Interceptor.OnPrepareStatement(SqlString) returned null or empty SqlString." My query was originally something more complex, but I switched it to a basic fetch all and I'm still having the problem: Session.QueryOver<T>().Future(); It would seem to either be a problem in my model mapping files or something in my database. Here are my model mappings: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="Market" table="gbi_Market"> <id name="Id" column="MarketId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="Name" /> <property name="Url" /> <property name="Description" type="StringClob" /> <property name="Rating" /> <property name="RatingComment" /> <property name="RatingCommentedOn" /> <many-to-one name="RatingCommentedBy" column="RatingCommentedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <property name="ImageFilename" /> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <set name="Content" where="IsDeleted=0 and ParentContentId is NULL" order-by="Ordering asc, CreatedOn asc, Name asc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketContent" /> </set> <set name="FastFacts" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="Ordering asc, CreatedOn asc, Name asc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketFastFact" /> </set> <set name="NewsItems" table="gbi_NewsItem_Market_Map" lazy="true"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="NewsItem" fetch="join" column="NewsItemId" where="IsDeleted=0"/> </set> <!--<set name="MarketUpdates" table="gbi_Market_MarketUpdate_Map" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="MarketUpdate" fetch="join" column="MarketUpdateId" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="CreatedOn desc" /> </set>--> <set name="Documents" table="gbi_Market_Document_Map" lazy="true"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="Document" fetch="join" column="DocumentId" where="IsDeleted=0"/> </set> </class> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="MarketUpdate" table="gbi_MarketUpdate"> <id name="Id" column="MarketUpdateId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="Description" /> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <!--<many-to-one name="Market" column="MarketId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one>--> <set name="Comments" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="CreatedOn desc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketUpdateId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketUpdateComment" /> </set> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> </class> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="MarketUpdateMarketMap" table="gbi_Market_MarketUpdate_Map"> <id name="Id" column="MarketUpdateMarketMapId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="MarketUpdate" column="MarketUpdateId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="Market" column="MarketId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> </class> As I mentioned, MarketUpdate was originally a many-to-one with Market (MarketId column is still in there, but I'm ignoring it. Could this be a problem?). But I've added in the Market_MarketUpdate_Map table to make it a many-to-many. I'm running in circles trying to figure out what this could be. I couldn't find any reference to this error when searching. And it doesn't provide much detail. Using: NHibernate 2.2 .NET 4.0 SQL Server 2005

  • Parse Exception: At line 1, column 0: no element found

    - by Jeffrey
    Hi everyone, I have a weird issue. I receive the following error that causes a force-close: org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser$ParseException: At line 1, column 0: no element found at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser.parseFragment(ExpatParser.java:508) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser.parseDocument(ExpatParser.java:467) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatReader.parse(ExpatReader.java:329) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatReader.parse(ExpatReader.java:286) After clicking the Force Close button, the Activity is recreated and the parsing completes without a hitch. I'm using the following code snippet inside doInBackground of an AsyncTask: URL serverAddress = new URL(url[0]); HTTPURLConnection connection = (HttpURLConnection) serverAddress.openConnection(); connection.setRequestMethod("GET"); connection.setDoOutput(true); connection.setReadTimeout(10000); connection.connect(); InputStream stream = connection.getInputStream(); SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance(); SAXParser sp = spf.newSAXParser(); XMLReader xr = sp.getXMLReader(); xr.parse(new InputSource(stream)); // The line that throws the exception Why would the Activity force-close and then run without any problems immediately after? Would a BufferedInputStream be any different? I'm baffled. :( Thanks for your time everyone.

  • jqGrid Export to CSV Missing Column Names

    - by user561557
    I have a jqGrid that works perfectly. It contains a pager button to export the grid to a csv file which works and exports the data. However, I also need to have the column names exported with the data and I can't seem to get that to work. My working code follows. jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navGrid','#pager2', {height:520,width:500,savekey:[true,13],navkeys:[true,38,40],reloadAfterSubmit:false, jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true, bottominfo:"Fields marked with () are required"}, // edit options {height:520, width:500,savekey:[true,13],reloadAfterSubmit:false,jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true,bottominfo:"Fields marked with () are required", closeAfterAdd: true}, // add options {reloadAfterSubmit:false,jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true}, // del options {closeOnEscape:true}, // search options {height:250,width:500,jqModal:false,closeOnEscape:true}, {view:true} // view options ); // add custom button to export the data to excel jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navButtonAdd','#pager2',{ caption:"", title:"Export to CSV", onClickButton : function () { exportExcel(); }, position:"last" }); // add custom button to print grid jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navButtonAdd','#pager2',{ caption:"", title:"Print", buttonicon:"ui-icon-print", onClickButton : function () { jQuery('#detail_table').jqprint({ operaSupport: true }); return false; } }); function exportExcel() { var mya=new Array(); mya=jQuery("#detail").getDataIDs(); // Get All IDs var data=jQuery("#detail").getRowData(mya[0]); // Get First row to get the labels var colNames=new Array(); var ii=0; for (var i in data){colNames[ii++]=i;} // capture col names var html=""; for(i=0;i } html=html+"\\n"; // end of line at the end document.forms[0].method='POST'; document.forms[0].action='ajax/csvExport.php'; // send it to server which will open this contents in excel file document.forms[0].target='_blank'; document.forms[0].csvBuffer.value=html; document.forms[0].submit(); }

  • wpf 4.0 datagrid template column two-way binding problem

    - by rouwlee
    Hello all! I'm using the datagrid from wpf 4.0. This has a TemplateColumn containing a checkbox. The IsChecked property of the checkbox is set via binding. The problem is that even if I specify the binding mode explicitly to be TwoWay, it works only in one direction. I have to mention that the same code works perfectly in .net 3.5 with the datagrid from the wpf toolkit. Please take a look at the .xaml and .cs contents. Thanks in advance, Roland <Window.Resources> <DataTemplate x:Key="IsSelectedColumnTemplate"> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding Path=IsSelected, Mode=TwoWay}" /> </DataTemplate> </Window.Resources> <Grid> <DataGrid x:Name="dataGrid" AutoGenerateColumns="false" CanUserAddRows="False" CanUserDeleteRows="False" HeadersVisibility="Column" ItemsSource="{Binding}" > <DataGrid.Columns> <DataGridTemplateColumn Header="Preselected" x:Name="myIsSelectedColumn" CellTemplate="{StaticResource IsSelectedColumnTemplate}" CanUserSort="True" SortMemberPath="Orientation" Width="Auto" /> </DataGrid.Columns> </DataGrid> </Grid> and the related .cs content: public partial class MainWindow : Window { public MainWindow() { InitializeComponent(); ObservableCollection<DataObject> DataSource = new ObservableCollection<DataObject>(); DataSource.Add(new DataObject()); dataGrid.ItemsSource = DataSource; } } public class DataObject : DependencyObject { public bool IsSelected { get { return (bool)GetValue(IsSelectedProperty); } set { SetValue(IsSelectedProperty, value); } } // Using a DependencyProperty as the backing store for IsSelected. This enables animation, styling, binding, etc... public static readonly DependencyProperty IsSelectedProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("IsSelected", typeof(bool), typeof(DataObject), new UIPropertyMetadata(false, OnIsSelectedChanged)); private static void OnIsSelectedChanged(DependencyObject obj, DependencyPropertyChangedEventArgs e) { // this part is not reached } }

  • Android & SQLite: "Table audios has no column named downloaded"

    - by Erik
    I get this weird exception when i run my app on both the emulator and a USB connected device. i can see the table inside the shell, but when I try to insert a record from the Activity acton I get this exception: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: table audios has no column named downloaded I am mostly running on an emulator with Android 1.5. The predominant part of my code is linked to this tutorial - http://www.devx.com/wireless/Article/40842/1954. This is the create statement I use: private static final String DATABASE_CREATE = "create table audios ( _id integer primary key autoincrement, " + "user_name text not null, title text not null, file_path text not null, download integer not null, " + "created_at integer not null, downloaded_at integer not null );"; This is the insert code I use: //--- insert a title into the database --- public long insertTitle(String user_name, String title, String file_path, Integer downloaded, long created_at, String downloaded_at ) { ContentValues initialValues = new ContentValues(); initialValues.put(KEY_USER_NAME, user_name); initialValues.put(KEY_TITLE, title); initialValues.put(KEY_FILE, file_path); initialValues.put(KEY_DOWNLOADED, downloaded); initialValues.put(KEY_CREATED_AT, created_at); initialValues.put(KEY_DOWNLOADED_AT, downloaded_at); return db.insert(DATABASE_TABLE, null, initialValues); }

  • Can NSCollectionView autoresize the width of its subviews to display one column

    - by littlecharva
    Hi, I have an NSCollectionView that contains a collection of CustomViews. Initially it tiled the subviews into columns and rows like a grid. I then set the Columns property in IB to 1, so now it just displays them one after another in rows. However, even though my CustomView is 400px wide, it's set to autoresize, the NSCollectionView is 400px wide, and it's set to 1 column, the subviews are drawn about 80px wide. I know I can get around this by calling: CGFloat width = [collectionView bounds].size.width; NSSize size = NSMakeSize(width, 85); [collectionView setMinItemSize:size]; [collectionView setMaxItemSize:size]; But putting this code in the awakeFromNib method of my WindowController only sets the correct width when the program launches. When I resize the window (and the NSCollectionView autoresizes as I've specified), the CustomViews stay at their initially set width. I'm happy to take care of resizing the subviews myself if need be, but I'm quite new to Cocoa and can't seem to find any articles explaining how to do such a thing. Can someone point me in the right direction? Anthony
