  • How to post JSON object to a URL without cURL in PHP? [closed]

    I have written a send sms code which uses an available sms api. So, I need to post a string in the json(string in $json) format to a url(url specified in $url var), but I am getting the following error String index out of range: -1 I understand that the error arises when requesting for an index that isn't there, but I dont find how that applies in this case.     Hi, I wanted to use this code to send archives with Xmodem: http://www.java2s.com/Code/Java/Network-Protocol/JModemsimplecommunicationsprogram.htm In this case, I want to establish a dialup connection between two computers and send a binary file. But this code doesn't let me set a phone number to dial after i setup the port and before I transfer the file. Is there any way of sharing the port with another application that dials the phone number?

    I have created a custom URL protocol handler. http:// mailto:// custom:// I have registered a WinForms application to respond accordingly. This all works great. But I would like to be able to gracefully handle the case where the user doesn't have the custom URL protocol handler installed, yet. In order to be able to do this I need to be able to detect the browser's registered protocol handlers, I would assume from JavaScript. But I have been unable to find a way to poll for the information. I am hoping to find a solution to this problem. Thanks for any ideas you might be able to share.

    I have a script all done now and everything has been debugged and it works, except for the last hurdle. This script grabs pertinent information on bank web sites, takes that data and uses it to populate a template and then it's all posted to Wordpress - BUT I get an error because the file_get_contents function fails taking each url from the Array.   • Config Apache HTTP Server for Eclipse

    Maybe this question is silly but I really don't know how to solve. First, as other server, I want to define new server. So, in Eclipse, I go to: WindowsPreferenceServer: 1) When I add new server, in list, no category for apache HTTP server. Just has apache tomcat. So, I click into download additional server adapter--still don't have in list. 2) So, I search. I point to location I have installed. Good, Eclipse sees that is a HTTP Server. And Eclipse see folder to put project into for me (because I use LAMPP so that folder isn't in Apache folder). But here is my problem. When I want to run a new PHP Project. Right click, run on server. A new dialog appear take me to choose which server to run. And, in list of server, no HTTP Server, So, I don't know how to choose Apache HTTP Server !!! (because Eclipse doesn't see which server that I have defined, eclipse just find adapter first) So, if I want to run this project, I must copy all and paste to apache folder. Too handy !!! Please help me. Thanks :)

  • I am receiving a message saying I have duplicate sources but I can't seem to find a duplicate of the line described, any ideas?

Is there any other way of doing this? I'm thinking of the following, but the current setup is really the most convenient one since I also have to use the data on the client side: store the product details in a file. So something like ASIN123.json store the product details in one big file. (In a very less time) 2)I have decided to rate limit the IPTABLES so as to reduce such DOS attacks by some script kiddies (to scan for vulnerabilities in phpmyadmin or some other script) to some extent.So how much should it be limited so that genuine users do not get kicked out.What is the best practise for question 2?

  • How to maintain a persistant network-connection between two applications over a network?

    I was recently approached by my management with an interesting problem - where I am pretty sure I am telling my bosses the correct information but I really want to make sure I am telling them the correct stuff. I am being asked to develop some software that has this function: An application at one location is constantly processing real-time data every second and only generates data if the underlying data has changed in any way. On the event that the data has changed send the results to another box over a network Maintains a persistent connection between the both machines, altering the remote box if for some reason the network connection went down From what I understand, I imagine that I need to do some reading on doing some sort of TCP/IP socket-level stuff. That way if the connection is dropped the remote location will be aware that the data it has received may be stale. However management seems to be very convinced that this can be accomplished using SOAP. I was under the impression that SOAP is more or less a way for a client to initiate a procedure from a server and get some results via the HTTP protocol. Am I wrong in assuming this? I haven't been able to find much information on how SOAP might be able to solve a problem like this. I feel like a lot of people around my office are using SOAP as a buzzword and that has generated a bit of confusion over what SOAP actually is - and is capable of. Any thoughts on how to accomplish this task would be appreciated!

    As far as I can tell my Exchange 2010 Mailbox and Client Access server is working fine except for Outlook Anywhere. I fired up the Exchange Connectivity Tester and ran it against my server and I get this report: Part 5 Testing HTTP Authentication Methods for URL https://mail.contoso.com/rpc/rpcproxy.dll?server6.corp.contoso.com:6002. The HTTP authentication test failed. Additional details: A Web exception occurred because an HTTP 503 - ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown. When I do a search for "ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown." I get only a couple of relevant results, including a 22k-view Exchange Forum thread, but none of the solutions discussed help. There is nothing of relevance in the server's Event Log. mail.contoso.com is the public domain name of the CAS/MB/HT server. server6.corp.contoso.com is the internal domain name of the server.

    Nuget feed by team city is working perfectly but there is a strange problem. Local IP (http://192.168.xx.xx:9999/feed/../): Listing through browser works Accessing packages through Visual studio 11 nuget works VPN IP (http://55.xx.xx.xx:9999/feed/../): Listing packages through browser works Accessing packages through Visual studio 11 nuget PROBLEM GUEST Account: Everything works fine, both on VPN and local IP (so its purely an authentication problem) The problem is, we can't get the user to authenticate. Using the same credentials, no matter what we try we get 401. The server VPN ip is whitelisted in internet explorer intranet settings. Any ideas? Basically HTTP authentication is failing for the VPN although it shouldn't, since the browser works fine!

    I set up a website with my own custom PHP code. It appears that people from places like Ukraine are trying to hack it. They're trying a bunch of odd accesses, seemingly to detect what PHP files I've got. They've discovered that I have PHP files called mail.php and sendmail.php, for instance. They've tried a bunch of GET options like: http://mydomain.com/index.php?do=/user/register/ http://mydomain.com/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=login http://mydomain.com/index.php?act=Login&CODE=00 I suppose these all pertain to something like LiveJournal? Here's what's odd, and the subject of my question. They're trying this URL: http://mydomain.com?3e3ea140 What kind of website is vulnerable to a 32-bit hex number?

  • How to solve SocketException: Permission denied: connect

    I recently encountered a problem that is giving me a headache and I need help ... The System consists of two subsystems, called A and B, each running on a standalone Tomcat instance and currently running on the same machine. A invokes B's service via Spring httpInvoker (i.e. over HTTP). B system also invokes the other system's services via HTTP. Symptoms: the system starts to run and appears to work normally for around 10-15 days; the system will run for a period of time after an exception: org.springframework.remoting.RemoteAccessException: Could not access HTTP invoker remote service at [http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/remoting/call]; The nested exception is java. net.SocketException: **Permission denied: connect** when the exception occurs, the system continues. This happens always, not only occasionally. (It looks like some resources are exhausted, but CPU rate < 5%, memory < 15%, network < 5%). when the system call between A and B fails, the B system call over HTTP to an external service also failed, with the same exception. Restarting both Tomcat services makes the whole system work properly. So repeatedly following steps 1 - 5, I have not found the root reason. Environment: windows 2008 R2 tomcat7.0.42 x86_64 oralce-jdk-1.7.0_40 Any ideas?
