  • Zend headScript() and appendFile not working as expected

    I'm having an issue trying to append a javascript file using headScript()->appendFile('file name') with Zend. I have my layout setup like this: <?= $this->headScript() ->prependScript( 'BASE_URL = "' . $this->baseUrl() . '";' ) ->appendFile( $this->baseUrl('js/lib/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js') ) ->appendFile( $this->baseUrl('js/admin.js') ); ?> Then, in my controller I am trying to append an additional js file only for this page, like: $this->view->headScript()->appendFile( 'another/js/file.js' ); This file needs to be appended to what is already setup in the layout. However, this file gets added before the other 'appendFile' files. I've also tried $this->headScript()->offsetSetFile(999, '/js/myfuncs.js'); But this still adds the file before the other files. This is not how I would expect this to work, especially when using the offsetSetFile method. How can I add this file after the other files? Thanks.

  • jquery validate: focusCleanup: true and focusInvalid: false don't work as expected

    I am using Joern's jquery validation plugin 1.6. My goal is to have the following behavior: remove the error message for an element once the user focuses it. From what I understand setting 'focusCleanup: true' should take care of this. However (at least on my browser (Firefox 3.5.7 on Linux)), I only get the desired behavior (ie, error message for a field disappearing once you focus it) if I click into the field; it doesn't handle tabbing into the field correctly. Sample code: HTML: <form id='abc' name='abc'> <input type="text" id="t1" name="t1"/> <input type="text" id="t2" name="t2"/> <input type="submit" id="submit" value='submit'/> </form> JS: $("#abc").validate({ focusCleanup: true, focusInvalid: false, rules: {t1: {required: true, email:true}, t2: {required: true,email:true}} }); I am setting 'focusInvalid: false' because the docs say one should avoid combining focusCleanup and focusInvalid; in my experience commenting out that line makes no difference. Am I doing something wrong?

  • WPF Beginner - A simple XAML layout not working as expected

    Hi, I've just started learning WPF, and followed a book to make this sample calculator application in XAML. The XAML code is attached below. I don't have any UI specific code in the xaml.cs file. However, I'm seeing a difference between design time and runtime. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the upper left button of the calculator is bigger than the rest. Even more confusingly, the designer when I edit the XAML shows the button correctly. I've tried to determine why is that, and I'm stumped. Can anyone help? I'm using VS2008, targeting framework 3.5, if it's any help.   • Wider than expected margins with CGContextDrawPDFPage

    I'm rendering PDF pages on iPhone using the code below. It works, but the margins seem much wider than when I view the same PDF using a Acrobat Reader or the Mac's Preview, and that consequently scales the content down much smaller than it otherwise would be. Is my code actually causing this behavior?     I'm making a Custom SQLite Wrapper. This is meant to allow a presistent connection to a database.   • Expected output from an RM-1501 RS232 interface?

    I have an old RM-1501 digital tachometer which I'm using to try to identify the speed of an object. According to the manual I should be able to read the data over a serial link. Unfortunately, I don't appear to be able to get any sensible output from the device (never gives a valid speed). I think it might be a signalling problem because disconnecting the CTS line starts to get some data through.. Has anyone ever developed anything for one of these / had any success?

  • Casting SelectedItem of WPF Combobox to Color causes exception

    I have a combobox databound to the available system colors. When the user selects a color the following code is fired: private void cboFontColour_SelectionChanged(object sender, SelectionChangedEventArgs e) { Color colour = (Color)(cboFontColour.SelectedItem); } This throws a Casting Exception with the following message: "Specified cast is not valid." When I hover over cboFontColour.SelectedItem in the debugger, it is always a Color object. I do not understand why the system seemingly cannot cast from Color to Color, any help would be much obliged.

The entity class has arraylist and on trying to retrieve the data from data base I'm getting the exception: Type 'org.datanucleus.sco.backed.ArrayList' was not included in the set of types which can be serialized by this SerializationPolicy or its Class object could not be loaded. For security purposes, this type will not be serialized. I'm using JPA.   • setAnimationRepeatAutoreverses not behaved as I expected

    I am starting to learn to use UIView animation. So I wrote the following lines: [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:2.0]; [UIView setAnimationRepeatCount:2]; [UIView setAnimationRepeatAutoreverses:YES]; CGPoint position = greenView.center; position.y = position.y + 100.0f; position.x = position.x + 100.0f; greenView.center = position; [UIView commitAnimations]; In this case, the UIView (a green box) moved back and fore 2 times. So far so good, BUT I found out that after the moving twice, the green box ended up jumped to the "new position" (position.x + 100.0f, position.y + 100.0f) instead of going back to the original position (position.x, position.y). That makes the animation look pretty odd (like after the box swing back to the original position caused by setAnimationRepeatAutoreverses, it jumps back to the new position in the last microsecond!) What is the best way to make the green box NOT jump to the new position at the very last minute?

  • Django + FastCGI - randomly raising OperationalError

    I'm running a Django application. Had it under Apache + mod_python before, and it was all OK. Switched to Lighttpd + FastCGI. Now I randomly get the following exception (neither the place nor the time where it appears seem to be predictable). Since it's random, and it appears only after switching to FastCGI, I assume it has something to do with some settings. Found a few results when googleing, but they seem to be related to setting maxrequests=1. However, I use the default, which is 0. Any ideas where to look for? PS. I'm using PostgreSQL. Might be related to that as well, since the exception appears when making a database query. Thanks.     Exception in thread "Thread-2" java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "3" int test = Integer.parseInt(result[0]); This is the error I keep getting when I'm trying to convert "3" to an integer. Well I'm receiving this "3" through a RS-232 port, so maybe this is what is causing the error. If anybody has any idea what could be causing this it would be appreciated.

  • Android:Multi touch doesn't work as expected?

    Hi folks, Help me in resolving the below issue. I have three image buttons on screen. All these three buttons controlled under ontouchlistner as below. buttonOne.setOnTouchListener(this); buttonTwo.setOnTouchListener(this); buttonThree.setOnTouchListener(this); I override "public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event)". Under this i check for these three image buttons touch events like below. ImageButton imageBtn = (ImageButton) v; if ( imageBtn == buttonOne ) // first button touch ..Log.. else if ( imageBtn == buttonTwo ) ..Log.. else if ( imageBtn == buttonThree ) // first button touch ..Log.. My problem is, as it is under multi touch event handler like above, it does not detect when touch all three button at a time to try to produce multi touch effect, instead it detects only one imagebutton touch at a time even though i touch all three image buttons. As i am developing this project on Android 1.6 SDK, is there any problem accessing my requirement(multi touch) (or) it is a known issue? I am hoping that, when it works for single button touch, why shouldn't it work when clicking three imagebuttons at a time to produce three logs printed as per my above code? How do i resolve it for my case? Please don't question me why i am still developing on 1.6 for such a requirement. Thank you. Appreciate your suggestions !

    I have following code: private void ProcessQueue() { foreach (MessageQueueItem item in GetNextQueuedItem()) PerformAction(item); } private IEnumerable<MessageQueueItem> GetNextQueuedItem() { if (_messageQueue.Count > 0) yield return _messageQueue.Dequeue(); } Initially there is one item in the queue as ProcessQueue is called. During PerformAction, I would add more items to _messageQueue. However, the foreach loop quits after the initial item and does not see the subsequent items added. I sense that somehow the initial state of the queue is being captured by yield. Can someone explain what is happening and give a solution?

  • "type" Command Not Working As Expected on Git Bash

    The type command, in Linux, returns the location, on the filesystem, of the given file, if it is in the current folder or the $PATH. This functionality is also available through Windows with the Git Bash command line program. The command also returns a file's location given the file without its extension (.exe, .vbs, etc.) However, I have run into what seems like a strange corner case where the file exists on the $PATH but doesn't get returned using the command. I am thinking of buying a new computer soon, so I looked up the method of transferring the license key from one computer to another, in preparation for actually doing this. The method I found mentioned the files slmgr.vbs and slui.exe, both of which reside in the C:/Windows\System32 folder, which is in my $PATH, as usual for a Windows computer. However, these two files aren't showing up when I use the type command. Also, neither gets executed when I call the files as commands without their extensions in Git Bash, and only slmgr.vbs gets executed when I call them with the extensions. Finally, slmgr.vbs is shown when listing the folder's contents in Git Bash, as well, but slui.exe isn't. I thought this might have to do with permissions, and, indeed, both files have very restrictive permissions, as you can see in the pictures below, but they both have the same permissions, which wouldn't explain why one gets executed and the other doesn't when called directly, nor why one file is listed on command line but the other isn't. The image I'm using is simply a 24bpp bitmap I created in Paint (it's just a big white rectangle!), using IronPython 2.6 and on Windows 7 (x64) with .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.

    I am processing XML coming from server which contains both images and data in one C# function (compiled 32 bit). When I try to parse this xml in memory it gives me System.OutOfMemory exception. Is there any way to avoid this error? My guess is, system cannot find contiguous block of 50-100MB memory. (my pc hv 8Gig ram and its quad core)

When trying to debug, I can clearly see that Source filter is not spitting out anything useful. (It’s like that the sink<--source transfer never works), so that’s why it wont connect. However, when I get source filter „Output 1“ pin, and then use myGraph.Render(source_output_pin), it works. Data is being sent from sink to source and everything connects automatically. However the problem is that the wrong VMR is inserted there. It’s VMR Renderer. I would like to have VMR9, that’s why im doing it. Why wont it work with VMR9 and why does source filter not show correct media type. Thank you.
