    Hi Guys, for the context setting, I am exchanging messages between my nServiceBus client and nSerivceBus server. its is the namespace xyz.Messages and and a class, Message : IMessage I have more messages that are in the other dlls, like xyz.Messages.Domain1, xyz.Messages.Domain2, xyz.Messages.Domain3. and messages that derive form that base message, Message. I have the endpoints defined as like : at client <UnicastBusConfig> <MessageEndpointMappings> <add Messages="xyz.Messages" Endpoint="xyzServerQueue" /> <add Messages="xyz.Messages.Domain1" Endpoint="xyzServerQueue" /> <add Messages="xyz.Messages.Domain2" Endpoint="xyzServerQueue" /> </MessageEndpointMappings> </UnicastBusConfig> at Server <UnicastBusConfig> <MessageEndpointMappings> <add Messages="xyz.Messages" Endpoint="xyzClientQueue" /> <add Messages="xyz.Messages.Domain1" Endpoint="xyzClientQueue" /> <add Messages="xyz.Messages.Domain2" Endpoint="xyzClientQueue" /> </MessageEndpointMappings> </UnicastBusConfig> and the bus initialized as IBus serviceBus = Configure.With() .SpringBuilder() .XmlSerializer() .MsmqTransport() .UnicastBus() .LoadMessageHandlers() .CreateBus() .Start(); now when i try sending instance of Message type or any type derived types of Message, it successfully sends the message over and at the server, i get the proper type. eg.     I'm writing a DLL that has function for getting Alfresco login ticket without using user password, using only a user principal name (UPN). I’m calling alfresco REST API service /wcservice. I use NTLM in Alfresco. I’m impersonating users using WindowsIdentity constructor as explained here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms998351.aspx#paght000023_impersonatingbyusingwindowsidentity. I checked and user is properly impersonated (I checked WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name property). After impersonating a user, I try to make HttpWebRequest and set its credentials with CredentialsCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials. I get the error: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() When I use new NetworkCredential("username", "P@ssw0rd") to set request credentials, I get Alfresco login ticket (HttpStatusCode.OK, 200). Is there any way that I can get Alfresco login ticket without user password?     To try to use a reason SSL/TLS session key timeout on the server-side, I'd like to know how long popular browsers cache session keys on the client. Microsoft describes this information for Windows/IE here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc776467(WS.10).aspx But, I haven't been able to find similar information for other popular browsers.     I have a jsf page which works perfectly fine[Both in IE and Mozilla Firefox] when the application is deployed locally. But i deploy it at the client place and I try to access the page in mozilla FF i get a blank page but it shows up properly in IE. Now if i do a remote desktop connection to the system where the application is deployed and try to access the same page i get to see the page correctly in both mozilla ff & IE Is this due to some sort of network issue specific to mozilla?

    I am currently watching the 80 minute ASP.NET MVC introduction. Automatically generating views from a model is pretty neat, but it seems to me that that the automatically generated views could be much better. For a start, instead of inputing dates with text boxes, there could be a date control. Additionally, number inputs could be verified client side. There are probably other improvements that could be made as well. Is it possible to automatically generate better views?

I have a different question for anyone who has experience using WebForms that has since moved to MVC: What is the number one thing that WebForms had, that MVC doesn't, that you really miss? Edit No-one has mentioned the WebForms validation controls. I am now working on some code that has a few dependant validation rules and implementing client-side validation for these is proving slow.

  • What's a good 2nd level cache for JEE applications?

    Can anyone recommend a good 2nd level object caching solution for JEE 6 applications, and give background to your recommendation? I'm using JPA 2.0 as persistence provider. I am particularly worried about having to run the cache client as a single-thread / singleton bean. Is that the case? If so, is that an issue? I've good experience using memcached from a PHP webapp, but PHP is of course single-threaded, so that was never an issue...
